Hanging by a thin thread of cognizance,

I peer down into the deep valley of unknown.

Even as a shiver of dread runs down my spine,

I watch the play of emotions on your beautiful face.

The stench of your guilt permeates the air.

And a smile tugs at the corners of my lips.

Your eyes that never saw me before,

Are now locked with mine, reflecting regret.

I can taste the sour apprehension emanating from you.

Do you fear me now, my love?

Know that, I was not keen to part with my sanity.

Yet when you left me, you gave me no choice.

A pain so profound engulfed my being,

As my heart shattered into a million pieces.

Yet it was those wondrous moments of pain,

That made me let go of reason and sanity.

And brought you here, as a sole witness,

To this moment, when I let go of this final straw.

This is my sweet revenge against you, my dear.

For I know you'll soon forget my love,

Yet you shall remember this moment,

As I spiral away into the realm of derangement.

Now this was out of my comfort zone. Good or bad?
