The world slept, bathing in the silver glow of the crescent.

They walked in blissful silence through the shadows of night.

Pausing under the the oak; a silent witness to many stolen moments,

Of an affection so deep and fervent, yet forbidden.

The red hot embers of love smoldered their hearts

And reflected as an inferno of burning rapture in their eyes.

They surrendered their hearts knowing that the fire would sear their lives.

And together they fell into the flames of an eternal passion.
