Prompt- "A leap of faith into the void' from KHResurreccion

Life lies ahead, like an alluring abyss

It's vibrant waves beckoning me to join them

Yet my feet are rooted in these sands of the past

Refusing to take that leap of faith into the unknown

A bright vermilion coated the the sky above

With the promise of a new beginning

A tiny wisp of hope bloomed in my chest

Filling my beating heart with a new light

A strong gust of wind blew across the sand

Releasing my feet from the tendrils of the past

And on the wings of the wind I ran

Letting the vibrant void of life to engulf me.
