It wasn't just a normal family reunion for the Pandavas. There was continuous plannings and plottings going on. And for some reason Yudhistir thought it would be good to talk about peace before going on a full-fledged war. Initially they al disagreed. How could there be peace with those monsters who took away their honour, home , their legacy. But other emotions had overtaken the ruthless emotion of vengeance , emotion of love. They have all looked at their children, their happy faces , their young lives and have decided that they could give it a chance , a chance to stop thousands of lives from slipping past their fingers.

Krishna was chosen as the envoy from the Pandavas' side. He would go to Hastinapur and ask the King to return everything and there will be no harm done to his sons and everything will be forgotten but everybody knew that even if Dhritarashtr gave in to this proposal but Duryodhan and Shakuni will never. They would never admit that they were weaker.

Matrimony have always been a huge key in the formation of allegiance among the kshatriyas. And this time it was being forged between the Pandavas and Matsya, Abhimanyu was set to marry Uttara , Princess of Matsya. The royal family was ready to give their daughter's hand in marriage to the prince and it was not just out of love and respect. If Pandavas would win the war Abhimanyu would be one of the most powerful princes in the whole Aryavart with continuous support from Dwarka and as one of the heirs to the Chakravarty Samrat. Whatever the reasons be,a marriage always brings on happiness and the whole of Matsya was painted in bright colours except the room of the war council. A war never brought joy and all the maharathis honed in warfare knew that very well. They knew this war was inevitable but still they wanted to try and therefore they sat down listing the proposals Krishna would carry to Hastinapur. Yudhistir added to it at the very end. He said Krishna that if all of their proposals were refused then he should ask them to give the Pandavas a village each to rule over. Krishna set off for the Kuru capital atlast.

Advaita had stayed like a shadow these few days. Hiding from any kind of attention given to her. Even from her brothers and children and everybody belonging to the family. She wanted to stay aloof because she knew something that the others didn't. She knew what others doubted , the impending doom that the war would being not only over the losing side but to the whole world. And she prepared herself for that isolating herself from others.
