So Gravity Falls wrapped up 2 years ago, well 2 years next thursday, and a question everyone ask is "Why is Gravity Falls Continuing in Comics?"

And I'm not talking about the Cine-Story Comics, that's just screen grabs from the show with blurbs added, talk about a cash grab, and no I don't own any of them, I'm not stupid!

Well basically I assume Gravity Falls isn't fully continuing in comic form as, well no one wants a silent Mabel because Kristen Schaal personified the character.

I think the comics are more like B-Stories, or in my opinion the ideas that never came to fruition, like the Twin Convention idea, The Labyrinth episode, the side story where Wendy kept stealing stuff, honestly those sound like ideas that would be featured in one of rewrite's books........does this count as a crossover? I hope so!

Anyway, Alex Hirsch wants to do the comics for more creative control, which also proves Alex isn't leaving Disney anytime soon, now with a cartoon for a kids channel, you have watch what you say and do, but with comics those are slightly leveled down. Wait until I show Alex My idea for a Gravity Falls Sequel, by the way I'll be releasing an updated version next week.

Basically the limitations were one of the reasons why Gravity Falls needed after 2 seasons besides the fact that he didn't want it to go forever. Its also because he was overworked.

Then again this is what I think, tell me in the comments why you think Gravity Falls in continuing via comics.
