Ugh I didn't want to do this. But, I want to talk about something American Kids suffer while the rest of the world watch's us suffer.

Ugh, this annoys me every year as a kid, and onto my adulthood.

Nickelodeon has done this every year since 2004, I remember the First Worldwide day Of Play, I was hanging out with my cousin, we wanted to watch Nickelodeon, like normal Kids, and instead of SpongeBob, Drake and Josh, or I don't know, Drake and Josh.

You already said that!

I know that slanted text! But instead we got this stupid looping message:

This went on for 3 HOURS!

I know its some major First World problem for me to talk about a Day where Nickelodeon goes off the air and tells you to go outside, except there's one problem! What happens when it rains?

It does rain here in America! Also they do realize we could just go on another channel like Cartoon Network or Disney. Why? Because Basic Cable has those channels! You can leave Nickelodeon for like 3 hours and watch a mini marathon of other shows from other networks. I remember back in 2013, while Worldwide Day of Play was happening and Disney Channel, back when they still cared for their cartoons, had a Gravity Falls Marathon.

Why does Nickelodeon still Do this? By my guess as a Tax Break or something. There is actually a video online of Worldwide Day of Play was happening, and then this happened:

I'm 99% sure that is Fake but if it is real and those kids were playing outside, they would have not been alerted about those fires in Salt Lake City where toxic fumes were in the air. But like I said, I highly doubt this is legit. Because it looks like it was made on Windows Movie Maker.

So yeah Worldwide Day of Play, completely useless, yet still going strong, its just like every stupid cartoon that involves meme culture that will be outdated in 5 years.
