OK KO Lets Be Heroes Non-Spoiler Review

So I wanted to wait a while before I post a review of this show:

I honestly almost thought it was a condensed Anime intro for a second.

Anyway, I wish I stop using that word when I get off topic, OK KO! Lets Be Heroes has been called, Adventure Time meets Street Fighter meets Dragonball, I'm talking about the one with Kid Goku not Z or Super, obviously not GT.

Basically this show is like a non playable video game and that is what makes them good.

This series is Created by Ian Jones-Quartey, who worked on shows like Adventure Time, Steven Universe, and Bravest Warriors. Also no joke, I read he is also Steven Universe Creator, Rebecca Sugar's boyfriend.... I ship it!

The show is about a little kid superhero named KO, who was originally voiced by, well Kid Goku, then to someone who I know Zlitch about, and I can't find here Wikipedia and I'm too lazy to go on IMDB to look it up. Basically he wants to grow up to become a superhero, a dream we all wanted to be as a kid, except my idea for a superhero was a knockoff of Ultraman.

He works at a store called Gars Bodega with his friends Radicles and Enid.

Radicles, voiced by the Creator Ian Jones-Quartey, who is like the Gym-Bro kind of Alien by does have a big heart because of his stupidity, but still a little narcissistic.

Enid, voiced by Ashly Burch who is known for video games roles in Borderlands 2, Horizon Zero Dawn, and Life is Strange, who is more like KO's big sister, not related I might add, and if you can't guess already she would be the kind of character that gets THAT kind of Fan art, does she really, I don't know I refused to look it up except for the fact when I googled images of her, a picture of her one of those Nicki Minaj style butts showed up.

Also this pic from an episode:

I was questioning the pacifier for a second, then I realize she must be DJing a rave. Before you ask, apparently certain drugs cause Teeth grinding, I did both my research online and from one of my friends from High school.

Back to the topic please.

Fine!

They go against this bad guy named Lord Boxman, played by Jim Cummings, and his army of Minions, not the yellow Despicable Me kind, like actual minions. He reminds me of Dr. Eggman from the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise, okay hiring Jim Cummings must've been a good idea because he played Eggman, or in a past sense Dr. Robotnik, in the 90's.

Now what do I think of the show? It is actually pretty good, does it get the best viewer ship? Well....

Remember this is on Cartoon Network, they only care for TTG!

I love the animation, and the idea of Cuteness and Violense, something we don't see a lot on Cartoon Network since the original Powerpuff Girls.

My only criticism is the overuse of cartoony sound effects but remember, kids show.

I would say more but I dont want to spoil much of it. The next country it premieres in is the UK on October 1st, I'm letting my UK buddy jimbob16gros know that.

But for those who have seen it, hopefully not through piracy, let me know in the comments.
