(4) Surprise, Surprise
Millie~
"What the fuck?!?!" I exclaimed as all eyes turned towards me. Before the teacher could say anything else, I was up out of my seat and out of the door. Words could not explain how furious I was.
I stormed down the hallways, my heels clicking loudly and obnoxiously, towards the principal's office. I slammed open the receptions door, only to reveal my brothers and cousins already there.
I watched as they all shouted furiously at the secretary, who sat there looking extremely frightened. I saw Brent standing back from them a bit however occasionally shouting remarks, Izzy leaning against the desk, also occasionally shouting out her points of view. Then there was Tom, right up in the poor secretary's face, waving his fist violently. I noticed that Jesse wasn't there and cleared my voice.
"Guys! Where's Jesse?!" I asked loudly. Everybody stopped and looked towards the principals' door. I narrowed my eyes and walked straight towards it, slamming it open also. I stood in the doorway angrily as I saw Jesse talking to Mr Henderson.
"Ah, Miss Ward," Mr Henderson started nervously. He looked over my shoulder as my cousins and brother assembled behind me, obviously all wearing the same furious expressions as I did.
"Cut the crap, Henderson," I started, "What the hell is going on and why the fuck did we not know about this before?!" I half shouted at him.
"Your father knows about this, Miss Ward, and verified it all," he started, "so I suggest you all get back to your lessons, thank you,"
I glared at him however Jesse pushed us out of the room, shutting the door behind him carefully. As soon as we were out of the reception area, I exploded.
"What. The. Actual. Fuck?!!?"
"Calm down, Mill," Jesse started but I cut him off.
"Calm down?!?! Easy for you to say!! You aren't moving to Central High next school year - you do realise that West Side is moving too which means they will be there - in our classes!!!"
"I know I won't be there and I know that they'll be there too, but don't worry," he started, his green eyes glimmering, "You'll be able to show them who is boss," he winked, smiling evilly at me, before turning around and walking off back to his class.
All the others walked off, Brent shaking his head, Izzy with one hand on her hip and Tom punching his fist into his hand. I groaned loudly, this was not happening. I was not going to spend my senior year surrounded by them - the enemy!
The rest of the day passed way too slowly for its own good. At lunch the whole school was talking about the merging of the schools. Some were happy to get out of the dump that was our school and others were just itching to see what would happen with the Wrights and the Wards in one school. I walked straight towards the vending machine in the corner of the cafeteria but cursed as I dropped the coin and it fell to the floor.
"Frustrated, are we Sugar?" I heard his patronising voice in my ear and I swear I almost punched him. I spotted the coin I had dropped and grabbed it, slowly raising myself from my crouched position. Aiden was, as I expected, leaning against the vending machine with his stupid cocky smirk on his face.
"I'll warn you before that I am qualified in one on one combat all the way up to seven on one combat," I threatened coolly, narrowing my eyes and glaring at him. However, being Aiden, he didn't quite seem to understand.
"You know, I could help you relieve some of that frustration," he whispered in my ear, leaning over slightly.
My eyes narrowed even more, "Actually, you could," I said coldly. I had snapped, it was just too much and I needed to get my anger out somehow, and since he did ask for it. I swung out as hard as I could and punched him full on in the face.
He stumbled back a couple of steps, clutching his face. I saw a line of blood trickle down his face between his fingers as the whole cafeteria froze and looked on.
"Miss Ward! Principal's office, NOW!!"

I sat on the front steps to the school two hours after school had finished for the summer. Right after I had punched Aiden in the face an extremely distressed and frantic teacher sent me to the principals' office. Mr Henderson gave me two hours of detention after school since it was the last day, despite my attempts to get out of it.
They were completely justified. He actually said he would help me 'relieve my frustration' - even if he had actually meant it in a sexual way, that phrase could be interpreted in many different ways. Aiden was fine anyway. I caught sight of him, not for long enough to take in the damage I had done, but I was pretty sure I had broken his nose - serves him right!
"Detention on the last day of school - I'm impressed," a familiar voice said in front of me. I looked up to see my Uncle Mitch standing in front of me. He was dressed in a suit as he had just come from work. "Although, you took your time noticing me. What if I was a Wright?" he asked cheekily, winding me up on purpose.
"Ugh, please, don't say that name - I've truly had enough of them and I haven't even started school with them yet!" I exclaimed as I stood up and began walking down the steps to his grey BMW.
"What name? Wright?" he asked, pretending to be clueless but with that same cheeky grin on his face. This was what my Uncle Mitch was like, always teasing but always cracking jokes - I don't think anybody could ever hate him.
"Watch out Uncle Mitch, or I'll have punched two people in the face by the end of today," I said cheekily back to him.
"I don't doubt you will have, Millie," he replied, winking at me, his green eyes sparkling in amusement as he teased me.
We both got in the car and he drove off quickly. Like father like daughter, I said to myself as he drove just as Izzy does down the streets.
"So, why'd you punch him?" he asked as he drove.
"Eh, Aiden, he's had it coming for a while now," I replied simply, leaning back in my seat.
"The boys seemed incredibly pleased that you had punched him," he smirked as he said it. I rolled my eyes and shrugged my shoulders in response; of course they were pleased about it. They were all extremely protective of me and probably wished it was one of them who had punched him. As I walked through the door into the kitchen when we got home I was greeted by whoops and cheers.
"Finally put Aiden in his place then, sis," Todd exclaimed as he slung his arm around my shoulder. I smiled and shrugged once again as Tom and Brent began to re-enact the scene in slow motion. Isaac ruffled my hair, smiling and Jesse high-fived me. I looked to Izzy who was sat on one of the counters laughing and shaking her head.
"Dudes!!" Todd exclaimed, "Party in Central tonight, who's in?!" he shouted. The whole kitchen erupted in more shouts and whoops as the boys agreed.
I looked at Izzy again who shrugged her shoulders as if to say "Why not?", so I nodded and smiled back at her.
"We're in," I shouted as I jumped up on the counter and sat next to Izzy. We all talked in the kitchen for a few more minutes, most of the time I was being interrogated by various boys about what had actually happened when I punched Aiden and so on.
After they all ran off to the games room, still shouting, of course, and Izzy and I went upstairs to get ready for the party. I quickly took a shower, putting on a robe after so I could do my hair and make up before getting dressed. I quickly applied my signature dark grey smokey eye look which made my green eyes pop and dried my hair. I loosely curled it, letting the curls fall out a bit before spraying them with hairspray. When I had done my hair and makeup, I put on my white lace, bodycon mini-dress. I slipped on my black 4 inch ankle booties that had spikes and studs on the heel. Finally I grabbed my black leather jacket and pulled it on. I checked in the mirror and smiled to myself - I looked hot.
"I'm ready!!" I called in a sing-song way as I walked down the stairs in the spacious entrance hall. Jace, Todd, Jesse, Isaac, Rob, Ryan and Brent were already there.
"Are you sure that dress isn't too long, little sis?!" Todd called out sarcastically as I walked down the stairs. I narrowed my eyes at him and immediately the boys started whooping and shouting things about how he would be the second punch of the day.
"Eww! What's that spot on your neck, big brother?!?!" I retorted immaturely, however the little sucker bought it. Immediately he tilted his head forward and tried to search his neck with his hands, before looking up at me again. "Oh wait; it's just your head... whoopsie!" I finished innocently as I walked past him and into the kitchen to get my clutch.
I exited the room just as the boys burst out into another round of whooping and shouting. It wasn't one of my best come backs, but it did the trick. I came back down the stairs to see Izzy walking down the stairs. Her dark hair was parted in the middle and volumised with loose waves. She too had a smokey eye which likewise made her green eyes pop. She was wearing a purple bandage dress with some nude platform pumps which made her already long legs look ten feet longer.
"Let's go," she said as she reached the bottom of the stairs. Isaac opened his mouth to protest against what his sister was wearing, but she stopped him. "Isaac, I wear what I want," she said coolly as she walked straight past him.
All the others laughed as we made our way out of the house and into the garage. "Dude, it's Izzy," Jesse said, slapping Isaac on the back. Izzy looked over her shoulder and winked at me before laughing.
"Wait, where's Tom?" I asked urgently as we all crammed ourselves into the two cars we were using.
"I'M RIGHT HERE!!" I heard a shout from the corridor into the house and seconds later saw Tom skid around the corner pulling on one shoe.
I rolled my eyes as he jumped in the back of Izzy's Ferrari. We were taking two cars, Izzy's Ferrari and Jace's Aston Martin. Jace, Jesse, Ryan, Rob and Brent were squashed in the Aston and Izzy, Todd, Isaac, Tom and I were crushed into the Ferrari.
Call us all vain, but party arrivals were extremely important to us as we had a reputation to hold up. Both cars pulled up and were parked behind one another on the street. We all got out and walked into the party. Jace, Todd, Isaac and Rob led; Izzy and I were on the second row, and Jesse, Tom, Ryan and Brent behind us. I placed and hand on my hip and strutted confidently, smirking at Izzy as we entered.
The music in the party was so loud that I could hear it as soon as I got out of the car and now, standing inside, the beat pumped throughout my whole body. There was a DJ controlling the music and lots of people dancing. Even though it was a house party there was a bar and I could see through the glass double doors which led outside that there were lots of people in the pool.
Izzy dragged me to where everybody was dancing so she could dance to her favourite song that had just come on. We danced to that song - I didn't even know what song it was, before heading over to the bar where our family had seemed to assemble. Rob came up and mumbled something in Jace's ear.
"What's wrong?" I asked as Jace's eyes darkened. However, before he could answer my question there was a loud noise as the door opened and twelve people walked in leaving the whole room in silence. And those twelve people were none other than the Wrights.
