Yeol's POV

"Please remind me why we are here again?" Kris asked as Yeol parked in front of a café called Café Universe (I know not very original but whatever. It's what came at the moment).

"A little birdy told me that I can find Baek here" Yeol responded with a smile.

"And so you decided to stalk the little guy" Kai said and Lay just laughed.

"Dude you got it bad" Kris said as he shook his head.

I know why he was like this. His parents went through a terrible divorce when he was 8 and he has never believed in love ever since.

He believes in having random flings and not committing to one person. We have known each other since junior high and he was a great influence in my player ways.

Well until now. Not even Kris' misguided view on love could turn me away from falling for Baek. It was a mistake but a beautiful mistake.

"I agree" I said with a grin and he just rolled his eyes. No one was going to spoil my mood.

I know I saw Baek in the morning but I just couldn't get him off my mind. I just wanted to be with him again.

"So are we clear with the plan?" I asked as I turned to also face Kai and Lay who were in the backseat of the car.

"Why do I have to be the one specifically to distract his friend while you whisk this Baek away?" Kai asked with a frown.

Unlike Kris and I, Kai believed in meeting the right person and falling in love.

He had only dated one girl whose name was Krystal but she moved to America and eventually the long distance caused them to break up.

He didn't like to play around and I respected him for that.

"Because Kris would ruin his innocence and Lay...has his sugar daddy"

"HEY" Lay lashed out looking offended as he glared at me and I just smiled in response.

"Let's just this over with" Kris said looking annoyed as we all got out of the car before entering the café.

As soon as I spotted a sexy mess of pink hair I led the others towards a corner booth occupied with Baekhyun, Chen, Luhan, Shinhye and Kyungsoo.

"Hello" I said as I caught everyone's attention as they faced us.

"OMG what are you guys doing here?" Luhan asked giving us a shocked expression and yes his acting skills were terrible I could see with the deadly look Baekhyun was giving him.

"We were just going to get something to eat when we saw you guys here" I responded with a smile.

"WOW. What a coincidence. Why don't you guys join us? Meet my new friends Baekhyun, Shinhye and Kyungsoo" Luhan said introducing the others.

"Great. We would love to join you guys. This is Kris, Lay and..."

"My name is Kim Jongin but you can call me Kai" Kai cut me off as he introduced himself. His eyes stuck on Kyungsoo with an expression I couldn't quite explain. Between happy and nervous.

"Nice to meet you Kai" Kyungsoo gave him an expression I knew all too well. A flirty smile. I guess I just played matchmaker.

We all settled in. Kai rushed to sit next to Kyungsoo. Kris sat next to Shinhye. Chen stayed next to Luhan as Lay settled next to his cousin and by the edge it was Baek and then me.

"Hey beautiful" Kris said as he gave Shinhye a flirty smile and a wink.

"Not going to happen playboy" she responded and I held back a laugh. I guess that part of the plan was a bust but it wasn't really a problem because Lay was able to get into a conversation with her.

"Hey baby" I whispered in Baek's ear and saw him visibly shiver. I loved that I had an effect on him.

"Don't call me that" he said as he gently pushed me with a frown.

"Why? Aren't you my baby?" I asked with smile.

"No...not yet at least" he said as he looked away buy I already noticed the pink flush on his cheeks.

"Good afternoon. My name is Tao and I will be serving you today. May I take your orders" A tall guys with dark circles around his eyes said as he stood in front of our table with a smile.

He was cute. If I wasn't interested in Baek I would definitely tap that. Is this how it feels like to be a taken man? I like the feeling knowing I'm only Baek's and soon he would only be mine.

"Tao you don't need to be formal with us" Kyungsoo said with a smile.

"Tell that to my boss" Tao responded with a smile before leaning closer to us.

"Between us let's just say he is a slave driver" he said before his boss asked him everything was okay and he responded with a thumbs up.

I took a good look at the man by the till whom I did not notice before. He was adorable. He was obviously way older than all of us but could pass as a teen.

"You guys order here. I think I need to take a better look at the goodies by the till" Chen said as he made his way out to the till.

Everyone gave their orders except Kris. I finally turned to face him and he looked frozen in place. He just looked at Tao with a look between awe and shock.

"Do you want anything?" Tao asked again.

"Dude do you want anything?" Kris finally snapped back to reality when Shinhye bumped on his shoulder with her own as she asked.

"Ummm...yeah...ahh...I want...I want you...I mean juice and umm...and your cupcake...I mean a cupcake...yeah" Kris stuttered and as soon as a confused Tao left we all burst into laughter.

"Dude did you just stutter?" I asked in shock.

The all confident player Kris Yifan just stuttered. Not only had that happened but he just literally made a fool of himself in front of a guy he liked.

This day had just turned out way better than planned.
