I hoped that Valery wouldn't be upset at me taking so long... I was just going to clean my room, but instead I backed into a large stack of boxes and they fell all over the floor. What's even worse is that the insides of the boxes also went flying evetywhere. It took forever to clean it up and put the boxes back against the wall neatly. I couldn't stack the boxes up due to me not being tall enough.

I guess keeping a stack at a two box minimum would be very helpful for me in case I needed it. I wheeled myself to my computer and began to frantically apologize to Valery for making her wait.

I felt so bad. I knew she wouldn't be upset, but who knew what she was thinking about? I hoped she didn't think I was intentionally ignoring her. I felt so anxious. I stared at the screen and hoped she would respond soon. I put stared at the screen before there was a sudden ding!

RB: It's okay <3

I felt my face heat up and my bottom lip felt like it was going to quiver from shock. I was trying my best not to smile. I really was. But my heart was pounding so loudly in my chest and it felt so warm I couldn't help but give the widest smile I could. "She sent me a heart..." I whispered to myself, I could feel the realization of what that meant settle in my head. I covered my face and leaned my head back, the message replaying in my head. I sat up quickly and got to typing.

AT: yOU SENT ME YOUR HEART,
AT: lIKE, YOUR DIGITAL HEART.

I could feel my chest throb in a way it hadn't in a long while. It was weird because the yearn to actually meet Valery suddenly grew stronger. I wanted to hug her as tightly as possible and see her smile and listen to her laugh.

AT: Yes, I did :)

She likes me! I covered my face with my hands and peaked through my fingertips. I wanted to read the message. I wanted to forever read the message. With a very sudden spark of courage, I put my fingers on the keys.

AT: wOULD YOU HATE ME IF i TOLD YOU I WOULD PROTECT THAT MESSAGE
AT: iT HAD YOUR HEART IN IT,,,
AT: aND i,

I hid my face in my hands, smiling. A new sense of confidence washed over me. It was just from knowing I could talk to her like this. That was enough to make me feel so much better. I heard a faint ding and I took a large inhale before quickly exhaling. I looked at the screen.

RB: I wouldn't be mad about that at all ^////^
AT: gOOD }:)
AT: bECAUSE i REALLY LIKE YOU
AT: aND,
AT: uH,
AT: i THINK THATS THE BEST WAY TO TELL YOU,

I wanted to dance around my room and laugh with joy! Instead, I put my head down on the desk and nuzzled against it. I hugged myself and smiled. She made me the happiest Troll alive.

RB: I think I like you too...
RB: well, I KNOW that I like you
RB: A lot.
