"Nico?" I ignore Nath's voice as he pounds on the bathroom door, "Nico are you okay?" 

I sit quietly in the bathwater that over the hours has cooled down enough to make my body shiver with simply just the touch of it. I don't answer as I keep staring lifelessly at the foam that slowly swirls between my fingers. 

"Nico, answer me!" Nath's pounding is getting so loud that for a moment I fear that the door is going to cave in. I swallow away the growing lump in my throat.

"Go away." I grit out without lifting my eyes from my wrinkled fingertips. The dull thud audible from the other side is just Nath laying his head in defeat against the wooden door. 

"I'm fine." I ad with a cracking voice as the tears continue to silently roll down my cheeks and mix with the bathwater I'm laying in. He wiggles angrily at the locked handle. 

"Then let me in." He demands with a smothered voice. 

I barely suppress the sob that bubbles up from my throat. 

"No." 

I glance next to me at the crumpled photo I had thrown in an angry fit into the sink. The pieces are barely hanging on to each other anymore and the colours have smudged like an oil painting. Still I can't stop looking at it. 

I've tried to deny it, erase it but it's burned on my retinas. 

Piper has called me over a thousand times but I didn't pick up once. 

They probably already found him. That's how quick it goes, he's probably sitting on the old bouncy seat in the chill room right between Percy and Piper and he'll talk about life as if he hadn't left us for a year. As if he wasn't willing to let me suffer for that long. 

"Nico last time or I will break down this door." Nath threatens lowly. 

The mess in my head only starts screaming louder but not a word is able to fall from my lips. I rub over my chilly arms and ignore how the purple bruises sting under the touch. 

Who fucking cares anymore, if even Will couldn't bring himself to come back to me?

"Go ahead." I answer hoarsely.
