Meanwhile Windblade had met up with Strongarm and Knock Out and they were both glad to know Sideswipe had made it out of the city safely.

And the three of them got to work on trying to clear his name. They decided the best way to start was by trying to find Bumblebee since he was the only witness.

Then Knock Out spotted Sunstreaker outside and noticed the young bot look upset so went out to talk to him.

"Hey are you OK?" Knock Out asked his younger cosine.

"I just can't believe Sideswipe would kill someone." Sunstreaker explained.

"What makes you so sure he did?" Asked Knock Out.

"Knock Out the evidence was right there in front of us he was holding the murder weapon." Sunstreaker told him.

"Which could have been planted there by someone." Knock Out countered.

"You weren't there." Sunstreaker told him.

"But I know Sideswipe and he's no killer so I'm gonna give him the benefit of a doubt." Knock Out said to Sunstreaker. "Something he probably wishes his brother would do."

"One thing I did learn from my past as a Decepticon is not to take things at face value because sometimes there's more then meets the eye." He added before going back inside. Having gotten the young mech thinking.

Meanwhile in Vos Sideswipe was exploring the city knowing he might have to stay there for awhile and trying to get the hang of his new surroundings Starscream had told Rattrap to give him a tour.

There were a lot of elevators and some bridges made for grounders to access areas that could normally only be reached by flight.

Sideswipe was surprised to see that Starscream had considered the none flyers after hearing that the elevators and bridges had been his idea.

"Starscream has come a long way since the war and being released from prison." Rattrap told him. "He added those when he saw how much trouble me and some the other bots who couldn't fly were having."

"Wow glad to see he's changed for the better." Said Sideswipe.

"Yeah he's like a different bot." Rattrap agreed.

Sideswipe noticed Starscream did seem a lot happier and much more kind. And he was being shown a lot more respect which might have had something to do with it.

Then he saw him flying with Screamout in their jet modes and they both landed while she lost control of her legs for a minute and Starscream caught her and help her steady herself. As the two were now laughing.

Until they saw Sideswipe and Rattrap both smirking at them and Starscream dropped Screamout then the two seekers started acting embarrassed. And they all had a good laugh about it.

Later that night Sideswipe couldn't recharge because he was still upset that his own brother thought he was guilty of murder.

It seemed like one moment had been all it took to turn his whole life upside down. Then he heard a jet engine and saw Starscream land and transform.

"What are you doing up this late?" The seeker asked him.

"I couldn't sleep." Sideswipe explained. "What about you?"

"I couldn't recharge either so I went for a flight." Starscream said to him. "And don't worry we'll figure out a way to prove you innocent I sent Rattrap to Iacon to investigate and look for any evidence in your favor."

"Thanks you." Sideswipe told Starscream. "So why couldn't you recharge?"

"This is a common occurrence for me when I recharge I have nightmares about the war and Megatron beating the scrap out of me." Starscream explained.

"That's gotta suck." Said Sideswipe.

"It does." Starscream agreed. "I know now that I deserved everything that happened to me during the war." "And I know why the Autobots would never except me and I don't blame them."

"If they saw how you've changed I'm sure they would." Sideswipe told him. "And I heard about what you went through during the war and no one deserves that."

"Thanks." Starscream said to him. "I've been seeing a therapist Rung who's been helping me." "And I just want to focus on taking care of Vos and it's people."

"I think that's a good thing to focus on." Said Sideswipe. "By the way is it true that you and Knock Out started a Terrorcon apocalypse on the Nemisis?"

"Yes how do you know Knock Out?" Asked Starscream.

"He's my cousin." Sideswipe explained.

"You know come to think of it I could see the resemblance with your other paint job." Starscream smiled. "Me and Knock Out were friends for awhile during the war but we didn't part on the best of terms."

"I'm sure if you two talked you could work it out and make up." Sideswipe told him.

"I don't know if he or any of the Autobots would give me a chance." Starscream explained. "After everything I did."

"It doesn't matter what you did then it just matters that your doing better now." Sideswipe said to him. But his optics suddenly widened when he spotted something.

Sideswipe quickly shoved Starscream to the ground as blaster fire went over them and shattered a window behind them.

"Stay down!" Sideswipe warned.

"What's going on?" Asked Starscream. "Why is someone shooting at us?"

"I don't know I just saw a bot aiming a blaster at you I couldn't tell who it was!" Sideswipe explained as the blaster fire continued to fly over them.

It suddenly stop and they saw some seeker were chasing the bot who had just fired on them but it was too dark to make out who it was.

Sideswipe was now looking from the balcony they were on where the shooter had shot at them from a bridge that had been near where they were talking he had seen them take out the blaster and aim it at Starscream before pushing him to the ground and out of the way.

"Oh no we need paramedics!" Starscream cried from where the window had been blasted.

Sideswipe rushed over and found Starscream kneeling over Rattrap who had been shot and was laying in a pool of his own energon.

And they wasted no time calling for help. Hoping they could save Rattrap. Sideswipe could tell Starscream was worried about him since the blast had been originally aimed at him.

A few moments later the paramedics arrived and took Rattrap to the hospital in Vos. And the seekers who tried to catch the shooter came back empty handed. Unfortunately the bot who tried to shoot Starscream had escaped.

Starscream thanked Sideswipe for getting him out of the way like that. Then they both went to the hospital to set in the waiting room hoping Rattrap would be OK.

But something else worried Sideswipe what just happened had clearly been an assassination attempt and whoever had just tried to kill Starscream might do it again.

But right now all the seeker was worried about was his friend.
