Mist Bound (written by SkarlitDawn ) had me hooked from the very beginning when I read the prologue. From the very beginning, seemed to be in trouble no matter where she is.

After going to a party, that one fateful night, her life changes forever, whether she wants it to or not. Freya has to find her way in this new found world, searching for the only things that can save her. If she fails? Well let's just say that that is not an option if she wants to ever have her old life back.

This book is such an entrancing book. As Freya enters another world, she is sent on a journey that she will have to undergo herself. Freya meets a lot of creatures that most thought were just a figment of one's imagination. She has to learn which ones to trust and which ones want to devour her.

The author does an exceptional job with the imagery, the action, and capturing her audience. Every little scene is detailed and everything in this book falls into place. Not a single question is left unanswered.

My favorite character in Mist Bound, if I had to choose would probably be Freya. Obviously! She is just a strong, sassy, independent lady who reminds me so much of myself. With her quick thinking, her mouth, and her new found talent with weapons, she is nothing shy from an a**-kicking teenager who takes no crap from anyone or anything.

I recommend this book to anyone who wants an amazing, action filled, paranormal book to read. Once you start reading you will never want to stop. You will be sucked into the world of magic, ogres, faeries and other fascinating creatures.

Sit down, relax, and enjoy the world of the Mist.
