Ben thinks that Charlotte is a bit too sweet and naïve. Ben is rude, but Charlotte doesn't let that deter her and with sunny smiles and bright eyes she works hard to put a smile on his face. Because what if the sour lemon needed a little bit of sweet? And what if the sweet needed a bit of sour to help her out in the big bad world? As their friendship progresses Charlotte learns that the sour expression and rude words are Ben's defenses. Meanwhile, Ben learns that behind Charlotte's cheerful attitude is a whole mountain of hurt. Maybe, just maybe her cheerful attitude could be the hammer that finally managed to break down those walls, but would that be enough for these complete opposites to get together?

Sweet as a strawberry is a cute book to read on a rainy day. A book that'll manage to put a smile on your face simply from the cuteness of the characters. It's slightly unrealistic but undeniably adorable. Then again, how many Wattpad books are truly realistic? And although it may be slightly unrealistic, the transition of Ben and Charlotte's relationship proceeds at a nice steady pace. This book, the way it's written and its characters are delightful. Overall, it's perfect for a light, fun read.
