Ahoy Fellas!-Gentlemen, Ladies and Aliens alike :-) Welcome to this week's #Hangout.

As we all know, the Wattpad community has grown so large that we could probably occupy an island of our own and for that reason, the need for extra hands to help check misconducts couldn't be overemphasized, and that's why we have Ambassadors on here.

Today we got one of Wattpad's newest 'badged' recruits. Our amazing friend from Texas, SkarlitDawn

How're you today ma'am, how's it going?

Hi, I'm doing awesome today, thank you, Gabe! It's going great; just getting the hang of my duties and binge-writing like there's no tomorrow! (You never know, aliens could come and melt our brains. o.O)

*Waves* Hi, y'all, my name is Franny and I go by Skarlit Dawn here! I'm a 20-year-old student aiming to become a dentist and an English professor. I was born and raised overseas but now live in the one-star State and land of the cowboys. ;) I love to read and write and my favorite genres are fantasy, paranormal, and adventure. If you want to know more about me, check the first part in my contest book. There's too much to fit here. XD

How'd you discover Wattpad?

I first discovered Wattpad 4-5 years ago. I was browsing online for interesting books to read and Wattpad sprang up. At first, I was just a reader (don't we all start like that?) but over time, I convinced myself to post something and eventually did. To be honest, I don't even remember what my first story was. Lol But I ended up deleting my account (and the second one I made after) for personal reasons and forgot about Wattpad.

When I started college, I was required to take Composition classes (basically English) and during the semester, as we wrote and did assignments, my professor encouraged me to take a Creative Writing class due to all the stories I have. He said, and I quote, "If you don't promise to take it, I will personally stalk you until you do. You have a lot of stories to tell and the world would be a better place if you told them."

I thought about it for two semesters (and yes, my professor did stalk me! He kept sending me emails to sign up. Lol) and finally did. But before that, I remembered Wattpad again and decided to try my luck here first before I went anywhere else. The rest, as they say, is history. ;)

A quick look at your page has so many congratulatory massages. You just became officially an Ambassador. Want to say something about that?

I have so many awesome friends and fans, I'm truly honored they cared enough to congratulate me. <3 Being an Ambassador is an honor and a duty. I'm a Content Ambassador, which means I deal with miscategorized books and bringing the best exposure to the Undiscovered writers here. It's really fun but also full of work. XD I love it nevertheless. :)

A few people have only a vague knowledge of 'Ambassador'. We'd love if you told us about the Ambassador Programme? Do all Ambassadors do the same thing?

Everything they would need to know about the program is posted on the Ambassadors official profile page. :) There are three sections: Content, Engagement, and Community.

You know what Content is now, you also know what Engagement is through one of my fellow Ambassadors and friend ProjectMyst , so what's left is Community.

Community Ambassadors are the moderators of the clubs. They are, in a way, the police force. Lol They keep the clubs nice and clean and safe for everyone.

Not all Ambassadors do the same thing. They choose which section they'd like to help with. :) But everyone helps each other regardless of their section to keep Wattpad the awesome community it is.

So if one has to apply for the program, what inspired you to sign-up?

I wanted to give back to the community. I wanted to help guide newcomers and advice the veterans of the site. Even though I've been here for only seven months, I knew I could contribute to the community. Not everyone gets accepted due to different reasons, and I was very lucky to be accepted from the first try.

With school out but Ambassador duties and writing, how do you hope to balance everything?

I have no idea, honestly. Lol I don't really have a specific schedule I follow and I just take it by the hour. If I'm inspired and in the mood to write, I do. But I'm giving priority to my Amb duties. :)

On writing, what's your favorite genre to write? Written anything in that genre? If yes, tell us about it.

That's difficult to answer, mostly because I don't have just one favorite genre. XD I love to write in paranormal and fantasy. I currently have a book for each genre written on my profile and another (a short fantasy story) in the works. I love writing in them because they teleport me to another world, a different realm of possibility, a new, exciting adventure. I just let loose and allow the characters and worlds inside my head to do the talking.

The Devil's Assassin is something we look forward to. With/out/ spoilers, what are we to expect?

The Devil's Assassin is the series I'm looking forward the most to writing! It will be full of hardships, agonizing decisions, conflicting feelings, and, of course, some romance. ;) Each book in the series (they will be five) will feature a different shady heroine with her own story to tell. And yes, the Devil will feature in them all, particularly the last one. ;)

Before we go, we know you've met a few exciting people on Wattpad. Who comes to mind looking at this?

Oh man, I laughed out loud when I saw this! XD For number one, the person that comes to mind is
Regular_Guy . I'm pretty sure he will read it. Lol

For number two, my bestie a-dora-ble is the one that sprang to mind. I know she always got my back. <3

For number three, my bae RachelS8766 came to mind. XD I have a feeling she would actually be helping me in the murder. Lol

And for number four, two of my crazy friends, Arrow900 and FlaminUnicornOfDeath would be the ones to smuggle me out of the country haha.

I'm very blessed to have e-met them all and to be friends with them. <3 They make Wattpad that much more exciting. Lol
