I was sitting in my room listening to val as he catches me up on what happened before i left. Apparently they had a dance while i was gone and on that night someone sneaked into the CCT tower for some unknown reason. I stopped for a moment before continuing my work knowing who it was that snuck into the CCT. He continued the story with a mission to the outskirts of vale where they ended up finding a train leading to vale to open a hole into vale leading grimm into the city. I stopped sharpening my sword as i gripped the hilt, as i remembered the sound of civilians screaming and losing their life. It's time this ends, before it gets worse.

"Their is business that i must attend to val", i said standing up as i sheath my sword and grabbed my helmet putting it on.

"what kind of business?", val asked making me stop by the door.

"one that i might not come back from", i answered with a seldom tone.

"then let me come with you and we can face this together", val said standing up.

"No, if i fail i need you to be here because your the only i can trust to protect vale", i said looking away.

"...is there anything you want me to tell ruby or yang?", he asked.

"If i don't come back, tell them to head to a city in mistral called shizen. If they find my body bury me their next to my master, the locals should help them find my old house", i said walking out.

I walked around beacon looking for one of cinder's lackeys. If i kidnap one of them i should be able to draw her out so we can i take her out before more people's lives are lost. I will have to break a promise to my master for the greater good. I snuck around making sure i wasn't seen until i came upon emerald who was walking around by herself. I snuck behind her and waked her in the head with my sword sheath. I caught her body before she fell and began to walk towards the bullheads leading to vale as i opened her scroll texting cinder.

If you want her back, come meet me alone in a field east of vale. Their we will end this, also i believe you know who this is

Timeskip to the fields 

I sat kneeling with my swords in front of me meditating mentally preparing myself for a fight that could end my life. I heard a shuffling of leaves in front me making me look up to see cinder with her red dress looking annoyed and pissed. I stood up and attached my swords to my hips as i looked to my right to see emerald gagged and tied up. 

"I can't believe you would do this!?!", she said making a fireball in one hand.

"I apologize, this was the only way to get you alone", i said as a breeze flew through. I looked passed her to see death waiting by the tree line. Seems like someone will be dying today, and i hope it will not be me.

"Your going to die for this!!!!" she said making fire spread around her buring a spot around us.

I got into a stance with one hand on the handle of my sword ready for her to strike. She formed two swords out of fire as she rushed me. I unsheath my sword quickly blocking a strike then jumping back to dodge her other sword. I counterattack with a strike heading to her head but she blocks with one of her swords and tries to slash my stomach but i lean forward slightly making the blade chip my armor. I kick her chest making her stumble back as i slashed diagonally from her shoulder to her hip. The strike successfully struck her shoulder but her aura stopped my blade from drawing blood. We both circled each other as i had my sword resed in front of me.

"you've been a thorn in my side long enough", she said as one of her eyes glowed with a flame surrounding it.

With amazing speed she rushed me and i only had a second to react. I pulled up my sword blocking a strike aiming for my throat as she pushed me back. We were in a deadlock with cinder slowly overpowering me. I slide her swords to the side as i spin around and slash her back making her stumble forward. I jumped in the air and slashed her in the chest as she turned around trying to get her eyes on me. I dodge a stab and counterattack with my own stable but she grabs the blade with her hand making mys sword begin to heat up. I activate my semblance making the sword heat up more as i push but it doesn't dudge. She smirks as she kicks me in the stomach separating me from my sword. I slid on my back five feet holding my stomach. I stand up with a grunt but then i feel a fist touch my helmet knocking me down on my stomach. Then i feel a foot make contact with my chest making me slide farther. I bend over trying to catch my breath from getting hit with three powerful hits knocking the wind out of me. I shakily make my way to my feet stumbling a bit. I look towards cinder to only see a flaming fist make contact with my helmet as i felt part of it break off.

"dam", i said laying on my back as i felt my helmet to see only part of it was still on making me take it off to breath quicker.

"you underestimated my power, samurai", she said as she burnt part of my helmet into a liquid.

"Looks like your failure will lead to more innocents to die. Even your own sisters will die", she said with a smirk.

I felt something snap in me when she said that. I slowly stood up feeling my pain slowly wither away as i felt a power surge through me. I looked down at my hands to see my armor begin to glow a bluish color. I looked at my hip to see my other sword as i gripped the hilt drawing my sword as it got a bluish flame surround the blade.

       "that will not happen", i said in a new godly voice.

With a new found speed i ran at her quickly appearing before her as she blocked my strike. We began to jump back and attack each other with slashes each time we jumped at each other. Sparks were flying in the air. We launched at each other ending in a deadlock which made a shock wave creating a crater around us. Our respective colored flames began to shoot from behind us as we battled for dominance.

"It...seems...you found...a new strength, but...it...will not...save you", cinder said struggling. 

Suddenly i see my sword begint to crack. With the last strength i had i pushed harder before my blade broke making me and cinder past each other. I looked at my broken sword as i turned around to feel a sharp pain in my chest making me look down to see cinder's blade in my chest. I followed the sword up to cinder face to see her with a devilish smile. She stepped back leaving the sword in me as i reverted back into my normal form. I fell to my knees coughing up blood as i slowly felt my life drift away.

"Forgive...me...for failing you....master...ruby...yang. I leave the rest to...you all. I'll...be seeing you...soon....father", i said feeling my eyes close with my last breath as i saw death stand in front of me.

Afterlife

"Your life is not over yet child, the world still needs you"

 Suddenly a bright light shone in the darkness that i saw. I felt weak in front of the light as i shined a pon me. I was floating in some empty abyss with the only light being this one in front of me. The light soon began to slowly form into a human being with antlers? then another human like being of darkness formed with horns.

"you choose to fight against a evil that we have let a pon your world. A mistake that we must fix, and we choose you and another to be our disciples. The other who will join you will be a loyal believer in us. Sadly, your body has been lost so we can not break the laws of life and death. So we will bond your soul to this other disciple who will share your powers that you had before you died", the other being of darkness said.

"i accept this mission, great beings", i said.

"We knew you would, now go forth and rid the world of darkness", said the being of light as he poked my head.

"he is waiting for you", said the other one before i vanished.

Land of the living

"AHHHHHH", another man yelled as he felt a power surge through him as he's kneeling in front of a cross. Suddenly the pain stopped as he looked up to the cross breathing heavily. He looked to his right into a mirror to see one of his eye colors changed from a brown to a grey.

(one eye is colored grey and the other is colored grey)

"So, are you the man the being told me about?"

"yes, i am oliver. I am a knight who protects those who can't protect themselves and fallows the creed of chivalry"

"My name is max, and i will be your partner until our mission is completed or until you die. I do not know"

"At least we are comrade until the end, may the gods watch over us. Where do we go? the gods told me you would know where we must go", the man said as he walked over to a set of armor and began to put it on.

"we will head to vale, in my previous life i lived their fighting the forces we are meant to destroy. We must hurry before those forces bring destruction to vale. While we are their we will meet with my old master and my old team mate val"

Oliver put his shin guards on then some chain mail before he put on a chest plate. Then he put on his gauntlets making sure they stay on then put on metal gloves. He wrapped a sheath attached to a belt around his waist then walked over to a stand where a broad sword stood. He sheathed it before he walked over to a helmet putting it on completing his look.

"it's time, that the crusade for peace began"
