I was currently sitting in my dorm with my armor off and my sword off meditating. It's been three days since tie's death and i've been here for those three days. Ruby came by to see if i was ok, but i didn't answer. I keep thinking about his death and asking myself if i did it for the reason i said...or i did it for another reason.

"Look at you, your pitiful", a voice said.

I look towards the voice to see myself except i looked darker and more gruesome. I could almost say he looked like an evil version of myself. This must be my anger manifesting into its own being.

"I'm guessing your my anger?", i asked.

"Yeah, so?", he asked.

"Another demon to overcome", i said.

"Please, you know you have so much power that you could take over remnant", he said standing up and holding his hands in the air.

"That is not what i want, and it's against my code", i said calmly.

"SCREW THE CODE!!", he yelled getting angry.

"Without my code i have no honor", i said still calm.

"He's right you know", my younger self said manifesting himself.

"How would you know? your just a small kid", he said.

"Enough, my younger self can stay. I know i've lost my sanity, but he stays since he doesn't annoy me. You though, you have to go", i said giving him a glare.

"Tch, fine", he said vanishing into dust.

I felt my scroll buzz. I reached it to see a text message from ozpin asking me to meet him. I assume it's about Tai, i wonder why it took him so long. I'm sure summer must have told him along with yang and ruby. I wonder how they'll take it. I hope i didn't dishonor ozpin. I got up and equipped my armor and sword. I exited my dorm and headed to ozpin's office. I ended up passing ruby's team as they were heading to vale. She saw me and ran over.

"Max, are you ok?", she asked worried.

"yes ruby, i'm do much better", i answered.

"That's good", she said smiling.

"By the way, have you talked to mom at all?", i asked.

"y...yeah", she said with a depressed tone.

"Did she tell you what happened?", i asked. She nodded her head.

"I'm sorry, but i had to do what was needed", i said.

"Thank you", she said. I instantly looked at her confused with her answer.

"I never knew my mother was going through all of that. Thank you for stopping her pain, even though....you killed him", she said getting teary eyed.

"Please don't cry ruby. I don't like it when you cry, i must be on my way", i said continuing to walk away. 

"See you later max", she said as i continued on my way.

I made it to the elevator pressing the button for ozpin's office. I waited patiently for the elevator to arrive which it did after a minute. I entered the elevator and pressed the button going to ozpin's office. As we were going up i noticed that the elevator seemed off weight to one side, i wonder why. The elevator dings as it opens to show ozpin sitting at his desk with Glynda right next to me. I walked up to his desk and bowed.

"You called for me ozpin", i said.

"yes, i would like to ask you a question. Did you kill Tai Yang Xiao Long?", he asked.

"Yes", i answered.

"On what grounds?", he asked.

"He was abusing my mother for years apparently, and my code says i must uphold justice. In this case his life was forfeited", i said explaining my actions.

"Hmmm, i see. Well max, i will let this slide since you were just honoring your code", he said.

"But next time, please talk to me first", he said.

"Yes master", i said bowing.

"I told you not to call me that, but the other reason i called you here was to introduce you to your teammate", he said. I then sensed a presence i didn't sense before. I felt it in the dark part of the room. I slowly put my hand on my sword, and looked at the spot with the corner of my eye. Then i saw a quick shimmer of light from silver.

"Master, look out", i said running to the shimmer.

I saw projectiles come out of the shadows and i was able to block them. I held my sword and looked at what the projectiles were, and they were shurikens. A ninja, the most dishonorable people i can think of. I felt myself clinch my sword tighter looking out for anything he'll do to deceive me.    

"Ninja, you disgust me", i said as he walked out of the shadows wearing a trench coat that was opened to show off his normal ninja robes along with a mask covering his face.

"Why's that bulky?", he said taking out more ninja stars.

"You ninja never fight with honor. Always ambushing your opponent and never fighting them face to face", i said.

"Mr. yamamoto, meet Val Mistwalker. He is currently the heir to the Mistwalker clan and your new teammate", ozpin said. I put my sword away as i guided

He took off his mask allowing me to get a better look at him. He had light grey hair, dark blue eyes, semi long messed up hair, and a black prosthetic left hand down from his wrist. He wore a Dark blue trench coat with a dark blue ninja robes under it with dark blue pants and black shoes on. The way he stood showed that he was a man of higher standing and i could tell from the way he threw his shurikens showing the skill he had along with it. I couldn't even sense his ki when i entered the room.

"I don't like this ozpin", i said.

"Why's that?", he asked intrigued.

"He's a ninja, an age old long enemy of the samurai. Also, he fights unhonorable", i said turning towards him.

"Look who's talking all high and mighty", he commented.

"Don't test my patience shinobi", i said holding back my anger.

"Wait, if your a samurai that means you serve a master right?", he asked.

"Yes", i said annoyed.

"Let me guess, it's professor ozpin isn't it?", he asked.

"yes", i said with clenched teeth.

"Max, please just give him a chance", ozpin asked.

"If you say so master", i said bowing.

"Ok, dismissed", he said.

We both walked into the elevator together and sat in complete silence. As we reached the bottom we both walked to the dorm we'll be sharing for four years now. We entered the dorm and i took off my armor and swords then meditated with silence once again. Then the silence was broken by val.

"so what's your name?", he asked.

"My name is maximus yamamoto", i answered.

"Hmm, definitely a samurai", he commented. 

"Yes, i am. I use to be a ronin travelling Remnant after my masters death", I said.

"Sorry for your loss", he said with a saddened tone.

"Your a faunus right?", i asked.

"Yeah, what about it?", he said on edge.

"i was just wondering", i answered.

"Why, got a problem with it?", he asked getting angry.

"No, i respect the faunus. I've met some great warriors that were faunus in my travels. I also don't discriminate, it's against my code of honor", i said.

"So, you fallow the bushido code then?", he asked cruiouse.

"Yes, tis the samurai code", i asnwered.

"You don't trust me do you?", he asked.

"Yes", i answered.

"Let me change that by telling you my life story. I  come from Atlas. I am distant relatives with the schnees wich shows in my looks and semblance. Allthough Mistwalkers and Schnees have shared ancestor Mistwalkers have branched so far out that the current schnees wouldnt probaply even recoconize us as relatives. The Mistwalkers are just as famous as the Schnees but in a compleatly different way. The Mistwalkers were famous because of their Ties with the ancient order of Mistwalkers and the older Whitefang. The Mistwalkers train as Ninjas but unlike those ninjas of old Mistwalkers have a certain code of honor: With great power comes great responsibility, may we never use our abilities on those who we need not, we protect those who cannot protect themselves, and bring down those who do wrong, for we are Mistwalkers we are the unseen blade of the people and justice. This code was made by the leader of Mistwalker clan who could not stand faunus being treated so badly, so he made protecting people as his clans and familys core aspect. After Mistwalker family got Schnee blood into it the following generations developed a heridatory semblance just like the Schnees allthough our version was a bit different. After this the Mistwalkers swore to never use this ability for anything but justice. When the Whitefang was founded Mistwalker clan gave it all the support they could, making good connections between the Belladonna and Mistwalker familys. Their ninjas acted as bodyguards and their vaults founded projects of the Whitefang but when Siena took over Mistwalkers soon left because she would have used their power for what their code denied. The clan has dimminished over the years only few members remain as guards in Mistwalker palace in Atlas"

"Hm, it seems i am wrong about you ninja. I may not agree with your tactics, but from your story i can tell you are a man of honor. Your ki also tells me your not lying", i said standing up.

"glad we could put our differences aside", he said holding out his hand.

"Looks like we are rewriting history here", i said shaking his hand.

"I think i might know what our team name should be", he said.

" what should it be?", i asked intrigued.

"Team Honor", he said. 

"I like it", i said with a smile.
