"Y/N, wake up, we arrived."

You heard Kayano's voice talking to you, and you realised you had fallen asleep in the bus. It was still morning, and everyone was getting off. A-Class left first and you followed. Karma looked at your sleeping face and laughed slightly.

"You father called while you were asleep" he said and winked at you. You just groaned.

"Please tell me you didn't tell him anything weird..."you begged.

"Oh no, we had a really nice chat. I also sent him a picture of you sleeping. Kayano, Isogai and Yukiko were also included. He sounded pretty happy to me."he smiled proudly.

"Karma, you really sound like you are her boyfriend and want to get along with your father in law" Kayano murmured and he shrugged.

He didn't answer but instead, he peeked at you to see your expression. You looked back at him and gasped at his breathtaking eyes and smile. You remember how many times you had rejected him... and felt a slight regret.

It is not time to feel sorry... remember all the bad things he has done to you, Y/N...

However, the Karma you were socializing with the past few days seemed to be different and had the ability to make all his previous actions less important... from the moment he made you cry with his dare and on, he seemed to sincerely try to make things better for you...

Well, let's ignore the detention and the endless pissing off...

... and he even injured himself.

"Um... let's go...with the others... I don't want to be late again..." you murmured and approached Maehara, Yukiko, Nagisa, Isogai and unfortunately, A-Class. Asano seemed as if he wanted to punch Karma, and he was holding his phone into his fist.

"What's wrong with him?" Kayano whispered and you wondered the same. Karma just shrugged, internally laughing.

A man approached all of you. He was wearing lots of clothes and a huge smile on his face.

"Welcome to all of you! I am mister Noah, I am in charge of the contest that brought you all here! May I know who the lucky winners are?"

Maehara and Asano raised their arms, glaring at each other.

"Alright!"Noah exclaimed and clapped his hands"A cottage will be given to each winner to stay with his friends for tonight. I will let you leave your bags there, you will eat and we will begin the activities!"

Great. Lets share a cottage with Akabane... that's all I wanted in my life..

This is what you sarcastically thought to yourself and ignored the anxiety that was consuming you from inside.

"Whoa! It's pretty nice!" Kayano exclaimed when the seven of you entered the cottage. Right next to yours was Asano's.

"Thank God we won't have to share a cottage with them..."Maehara murmured and walked inside, looking around satisfied.

It was very comfortable, even though it was small. A fireplace was also there, and two rooms for the guests.

"Lets decide how we will share the rooms!" Isogai said cheerfully.

"Um... isn't it obvious that the girls will take the one and us boys the other?" Nagisa asked and Isogai blushed slightly, having just realised that he had made obvious he wanted to share a room with Yukiko.

"Oh, Nagisa, what a gentleman..." Karma joked and looked at you, as if he wanted to confirm something. You looked away from his eyes.

"Okay then... lets go to the rooms and put our things there, because mister Noah is waiting for us outside..."

Everyone nodded. You, Kayano and Yukiko entered the one room and boys the other, which was right in front of yours. You couldn't help but notice Yukiko's blank face, as if she was thinking a lot about something.

You were about to exit the room, and at the same time, Karma was exiting the boys' room. When he noticed you, he smirked and whispered to your ear, so that nobody else would listen.

"At night... if you can't sleep... I don't mind you taking Kayano's phone and texting me~"

You gasped and observed him as he was walking outside. Your heart was upset just by thinking of him. You sighed, not knowing what to do anymore with this matter, since you didn't even know the reason it was happening.

Am I just feeling bad because he was hurt because of me? But it is not a bad feeling that I have inside...

You, your friends and A-Class met with Naoh again. It was extremely cold and everyone was dressed pretty heavily. Nagisa and Kayano were hardly seen under their thick sweaters and coats. Isogai and Yukiko were still cold and they were walking all the time to keep themselves warm. Karma and Asano were totally okay with the cold, even though they didn't seem to be heavily dressed. You were not sure about yourself, but it was most likely to belong to the Nagisa-Kayano category.

Noah brought you to a restaurant, and your team sat on a table. Next to you sat Kayano, since Yukiko sat next to Isogai. Maehara was alone on the one side of the table and in front of you were Karma and Nagisa. You ordered and talked with the others.

It was funny how everyone was talking to Maehara because Isogai was concentrated on Yukiko the whole time. He was even willing to share his food with her.

"He is prince charming..." Kayano commented, and you realised that commenting was probably her hobby. Yet, you couldn't help but laugh.

"Prince charming?" Karma asked, having heard her comment "So girls really like things like that? A boy taking care of you... well, I would also like a girl who would take care of me" he said and winked at you. You almost choked on air.

"Everyone is trying to take care of you, since you hurt your back..." Maehara said and Karma smirked.

"Yeah, but some people show more affection. They would even walk me home and~"

Shut up you devil!

You were blushing so hard, but he wasn't able to complete his sentence. A new voice was heard from behind you, from A-Class's table.

"Y/N"

You turned around and glared at Asano. He sighed and walked up to you. Everyone's eyes turned on both of you.

"I want to talk with you for a while."

You wondered whether to put your fork down or keep it in case you needed to use it on him.

" Afraid you were with... Asano"

You glanced at Karma. He was trying hard to hide his worry behind the teasing smile, looking carefully at you to hear your answer.

Why do I care so much if he is worried or not?!

The truth was you didn't want to talk with Asano. You didn't hate him, but you didn't like him either, and he was making you just uncomfortable and embarrassed. Since the moment you managed to stand on your own two feet after the accident, you hadn't talked with him in private again... he hadn't met the better and stronger self of yours, that's why you had no idea how you appeared in his eyes.

For some reason, you were afraid you would become weak if you stayed alone with him. With your friends around, you could manage to stand against him.

"I don't want to" you murmured, but glanced at Karma again, as if you were telling that to him and not to Asano.

"Huh? Are you shy or just angry at me?" Asano asked and touched your shoulder.

You were about to move away, but Maehara was the one who grabbed Asano's hand away from you. You looked at him, feeling appreciation for his actions.

"First badmouthing Isogai, then touching Y/N... I understand that you have every right to be in this place, but that doesn't mean you have any right to bother us." Maehara said pissed off, and all of you looked at him thankful.

Asano wasn't even bothered. He pulled his hand away.

"Knowing your reputation, you probably want to make her you girlfriend for a day or two... or did you enjoy having a one-week date with her and want to experience it again?"

You had never dated any classmate of yours, and the way Asano had put it sounded as if you were just having fun and provoking boys with your challenge. Maehara was furious, as well as everyone else, and right then Karma stood up from his seat, intending to punch Asano or something.

However, he got up so quick that his movement hurt his back, spreading the pain all over his body. His painful expression made you realise it.

"What's wrong with you now?" Asano asked Karma, looking carefully at him "Oh, yeah... you hurt your back during that game of yours. You don't look so tough now, Akabane"

Someone looking down on Karma was just feeling so wrong to everyone. You took a deep breath, stood up and rushed to Karma's side. You grabbed his arm, his coat and left the restaurant.
