Sorry for the long break... I promise to update more this week.

Your head was lying on the table staring outside the window with empty eyes. The birds where flying peacefully outside, it has been almost a week since you were brought to a small cabin that lied on the outer parts of wall Rose. You were there with everyone except for Eren, Mikasa and Armin. You wondered why you were separated from them, you listened quietly to the conversation Connie and Reiner had, they thought about breaking out from here to visit Connie's home town that was not far away from here. Sasha joined you by lying her head on the table, your eyes met and you kept the contact for a while

"I wonder why we have to stay here... it's strange that we were forbidden to train, also that we could not bring our gear... what's the reason for this?" she whispered towards you, everyone was bothered about this just as much as you were

"I wish I knew... I thought we were trained as soldiers to fight on the front lines and not to hide ourselves here" Sasha hummed and closed her eyes, you did the same and enjoyed the moment of piece until suddenly she jumped up with a fearsome face screaming

"I HEAR HEAVY FOOTSTEPS HEADING THIS WAY!!" you removed your head and sit up straight, everyone stared at her with big wide eyes

"W-What are you saying??" Connie asked confused

"T-THEY HEADING THIS WAY!" she repeated and then you stood up from your seat and pressed your face against the window to check outside. You had this uneasy feeling that she was right, then you felt it to, the ground was shaking lightly and you turned away from the window to look at the water cup Christa was holding.

"The water... it's moving!" you mumbled in fear and then one of the scouts appeared under the window

"Everyone! Titans are heading this way, wall Rose has been breached! Escape while you still can!" the shocking news let everyone shutter. It was quiet for a second, no one dare to speak since it was hard to believe that the wall was broken. Then Reiner spoke up

"Let's move, we can't waste any time, if what he says is true then everyone has to be evacuated right now. We are close to Connie's and Sasha's village, we should head there and warn the people!" Everyone agreed to his plan and started moving outside, you climbed your horse and followed the lead of Reiner. Miche and the other scouts stayed back to make sure everyone escaped safely.

You reach the village of Sasha first and she took off right after she got down from here horse, you stay back and looked around with the others for any villagers but the place was empty

"Where is everyone? Don't tell me they have already been evacuated?" you mumbled confused

"That can't be, we just heard the news, this village is very deep in the forest and it takes a few hours to reach the next bigger town, there is no way they have been evacuated already" Connie said examine the small houses by looking into the windows. You felt a cold shiver run down your spine, this whole thing was creepy asf.

An hour passed and Sasha was not back yet, you were worried about her and decided to look for her

"I go see where Sasha is, I'm worried that something happened to her" you said walking off slowly

"It's not wise to wander off on your own, you don't know this place like Sasha does" Ymir said boringly

"Then why don't you get up and help me?" you suggested, before you could continue your argument a small group of horsemen approached you together with Sasha

"Everyone!" she called, you were glad to see that she was alright, her father and her people where with her, luckily the titans haven't reached this part yet.

"Let's continue to move, now that she is back" Ymir said walking back to her horse.

The sun was setting and the clouds bare the color of blood, you reached the old castle and settle down for the night. Reiner got hurt on the way here and needed first aid, you offered to clean his wound making sure it would not get infected. You were sitting with him alone in the dining room and took a look at his arm

"The wound is not very deep, but you should not move your arm for a few days..." you advised as you cleaned out the blood carefully

"You would make a pretty good nurse you know that" he complimented you, you blushed lightly

"Don't say that, I have no experience at all... I would probably be more trouble than help" he chuckled lightly

"I don't think so, you have a good hand with people and you stay calm in situations like this" you looked away

"I don't know if I would be suited for that job... seeing all those wounded people everyday... I can't bear to see them suffer" Reiner noticed the small change in your eyes

"How come that you look so pained when you talk about this stuff? Have you experienced something similar?" you froze lightly and avoided his gaze

"I... when I arrived at wall Rose I witnessed the outcome after the titan attack, I saw the look in the eyes of the victims... I will never forget their expression, I immediately felt connected to those people somehow, being homeless and without a future matched myself as it silly as it sounds" Reiner was curious since he never heard your story, you always managed to keep it a secret from him and shake him off whenever he asked about it.

"I know we had this talk a lot but... you never really told me where you're from nor what happened to you in the past" you finished aiding his arm

"Does it really matter where I'm from?" you said in a rather sad voice

"No... but... I would like to hear your story" he was persistent this time and you moved away from him packing the things away in the little box

"Why are you so interested suddenly? My past is pretty boring, there is nothing to talk about..." he moved behind you and placed his good arm on your shoulder turning your around to face him, he saw the shaking in your eyes

"Why do I have this feeling that you keep something important from me?" the beat of your heart increased

"W-What? I-I don't" your head tilted down to break the eye contact but he did not let you, his fingers gently pulled your chin back up and reconnected your eyes

"You are a bad liar..." you noticed how close his face was, your cheeks were heating up and started to burn

"There is something I always wanted to ask, but for some reason I never did... maybe because I was scared myself to hear the answer" he closed his eyes, you started to panic since you had an idea what his question might be

"W-What makes you want to ask now?" he paused not knowing himself why

"I don't know... I suddenly feel the urge to, so please... answer it honestly" you swallowed and stared in his eyes, Reiner was nervous as well but he could not wait any longer

"I have this strange feeling that we meet before... your name is the same as hers... and your eyes are the same too... I want to know if it's you that I met, the girl that lived in the underground district of wall Shina".
