Your heart was pounding; he finally kissed you after all this time. There was no happier feeling; all your desires were satisfied. He gently pushed you down on the bed and continued kissing you, you could not hold back but smile brightly into the kiss which let him pull away gently.

"What's wrong?" he asked

"Nothing, I am just so happy that I can't stop myself from smiling" you said entangling your fingertips in his hair, he smiled back and caressed your cheeks

"I'm sorry that I waited so long but I knew how hard it would be on you if I did this" you shook your head

"No it's alright, I don't mind at all, maybe I will suffer but then it is in a good way" he slammed his lips against yours and kissed you passionately. This night he stays with you not bothering what troubles it would cause him the next day.

1 year past since you started helping Reiner with his program, you learn more about the city and the people but there was one thing you learned about that you never wanted to know, it was the limited life of someone who inherited a titans power... in other words, Reiner's life was limited and that caused your heart pain everyday. He noticed it whenever he was with you that the way your eyes looked at him was causing you pain. There was no solution for this and you knew because whenever you had free time you sneak into the library and studied about the titan's power. There was really no way to save his life... you cried every night, time was passing so fast and you still were stuck in this city. All you wanted to run away with him and enjoy the last years you had with him, was this really too much to ask?

Lately you noticed that something was off with you, you had to throw up a lot and felt strange, your appetite was also quite special which let you guess only one thing... you could be pregnant. You went to see a doctor to confirm the suspicion and as it turned you were really pregnant. You felt happy but also sad; you knew that the child would group up without his father. After you returned home you saw Reiner sitting on his desk doing some work, you stood in the door for a while watching him, your hand caressed over you stomach and you were unsure if you should tell him.

"What's the matter? You are standing there for a while, did something happen?" he asked looking at you worried, you shook your head and stepped in

"No not at all, everything is fine" you gave him a weak smile and walked into the kitchen preparing some tea, he was curious what you were hiding and approached you from behind.

"Hey... what happened? I know that something is troubling you" he placed his hand on your cheek and stroke it gently, his eyes were staring at you with curiosity and you looked down

"I..." he cupped your face with both his hands and placed a gentle kiss to your lips

"Is it true? Are you really pregnant?" he asked, your eyes widened in shock how he found out

"H-How did you??" he smiled gently

"I told you that you can't hide things from me, I noticed it a few weeks ago" you blushed and grabbed his shirt

"I... I am sorry that I hide this from you, I was just... scared to tell you because..." he felt pain in his chest and placed his forehead against yours

"I am sorry... I know how hard this is for you and I know there is nothing I can do to change things, I wish I could be a better boyfriend... well a future father.... I wish I could see your smile everyday and sit beside you on the porch when we are old and gray... there are so many things I want to do before I..." you cried a little

"Don't say that, it's not your fault! It's because they did this to you... they took away your life for their own sake. Don't blame yourself!" he hugged you tightly and tried to hold back his own tears, having a family was all he ever dreamed about, you were the girl of his dreams and he finally had you but that it was only for a limited time pained him the most, he wanted to be with you forever no matter what it takes.

"Let's run away... let's go somewhere we can live the rest of our lives as a family happily" you grabbed his shirt tighter and nodded

"Please... I don't want to stay here any longer, if we do then... you..." he held you tight

"Don't worry, I will make sure we can escape from here without anyone seeing us" you calm down a little and left it in his hands. Reiner knew if you stay here then both of you had no future.

The night to execute the plan finally arrived, both of you were prepared and ready to run for your lives. Reiner had some connection in other parts of the town and arranged a save escape route, when the moon was high both of you sneak away from the house and let the horse carrier transport you to the outer parts of the city where the high fence was. A guard from the fence was one of Reiner's allies and helped you pass the security gate without any papers. You managed to slip through unseen but before you could pass the second gate another guard noticed the betrayal and rings the alarm.

"Intruders!" he called pointing his gun at the both of you, Reiner stepped before you to protect you since he would heal anyway no matter if he was shot. A fight started in the small room in which Reiner was victorious, the place started to fill with more soldiers and you made a run for it, he kept his eyes on you to protect you from any attacks. You passed another room but once you stepped inside the doors locked on both sides and you were caught

"Stand down! Place your hands above your head and step towards the wall!" a voice from the speakers ordered you

"Any false moves and we shoot" laser lights were activated and covered your bodies. Reiner was shaking from anger, this was it, you were caught unable to make it to the other side

"Damn it!" he cursed and placed his hands behind his head doing as they said, he knew his titan powers would need to long to activate for him to surpass the laser light... Once you were at the wall soldiers walked in and grabbed your arms cuffing them behind your back

"Look who it is... Honored warrior and current holder of the armored titan's power... Reiner Braun" the chief appeared looking him with a large grin on his face as he pulled off his guard mask

"You....! This is your doing!" he yelled at him

"Ho ho... someone's pretty sharp, of course it is my doing, remember you were the one asking for my help in the first place..." the guard from the gate was a spy to the government and lured both of you into a trap

"You bastard! How could you do that! I trusted you!" he laughed at Reiner's angry expression

"How could I? why don't you ask that yourself.... How could you? Did you really think you can escape this town together with your girlfriend traitor and start a new life somewhere without giving back the titan's power?" Reiner was boiling from anger

"Shut up! You are exactly why I did this!" the guard grabbed his gun and placed it at his head

"No don't!" you begged getting his attention

"Stay out of this woman! You have nothing to say here!" you bit your teeth

"I won't let you kill him! He is free to go wherever he want's too!" the guard was annoyed of you and walked over to you

"Leave her alone!" Reiner warned him struggling to break free

"What do you know? A traitor like yourself has no right to raise a voice against me, you should have been executed the day you were caught, what a shame that the government decided to keep you alive, you are a shame to the existence of Marley" you grinned at him provokingly

"Yeah... I am and you know what.... I am PROUD of it!" your snappy comment made him so angry that he kicked you in the stomach making you scream in pain until you lost consciousness. Reiner snapped, his eyes turned into those of a beast and ripped the chains of his wrists with ease, the guards started restraining him but he defeated them easily with martial arts. He needed to turn into a titan and save you, that was the only way to get out of here. He managed to scratch himself and transform, the guards started shooting at him to bring him down but his armor was too thick for the weapons to hurt him. He grabbed your body immediately since his size made the building collapse, he smashed everyone with his feet and broke out of the building, he set foot into the woods and started running as fast as he could, he knew that the other titans would soon come after him... he needed to get away from this place as fast as possible. Once he was in the woods he transformed back since his large form showed everyone where he was going, he checked up on you worried but he already heard horses catching up to him, he carried you on his back and continued running through the woods with all his energy. He reached the shorewhere a boat was lying on the coast, he reached it and placed you inside but before he could push it off the shore he was surrounded again

"Give up Reiner Braun! You are surrounded" a commander yelled and in a split second thousands of guns were pointed at his form. He was shaking, this could not end here, this will not end here

"Come at me... I will kill you all with my bare hands if I have to... TRY TO TAKE ME DOWN YOU BASTARDS!".

5 years later

"(a name you like), don't walk to far off it's almost sunset" you called after your (son / daughter)

"Yes mom! I'll be back soon!" you smiled as you waved to (him /her)

"Dinner is ready at 8!" you reminded (him /her) and caught the smile you received in return

"I'll be back until then!" you crossed your arms smiling happily

"Someone looks happy" Reiner said walking up from behind and hugging you gently, you nuzzled into his touch and closed your eyes

"Yeah, you have no idea how happy I am to be with you 2" he kissed your cheek

"Same... you are all I have, my little treasures" the wind blow through your hair softly

"I love you... "You whispered to him with a smile on your lips

"I love you too".

You accepted his fate and did everything to enjoy the time you had left with him, who knew how many years he had left but you stopped thinking about it all the time, he was right here before your eyes at this moment and that was all that mattered. The government was still looking for you, but you found the perfect place to settle down and live your life in peace. You missed your friends at lot since you never had the chance to explain them what happened.... But... you knew deep down in your heart that they were happy for you and that was what let your mind rest at ease.

Our time might be over soon, but the future of our (son /daughter) will shine even brighter.
