"Tell us, Reiner Braun, how were you able to find her?" your eyes looked up to him painfully, his posture rise from the seat and he started speaking.

"We were sent to Paradis Island to retrieve the Attack titan and to search for any surviving members from the accident that took place 6 months earlier. We arrived in the city and started looking for clues, keeping our ears open here and there. One day I was delivering wood to a farmer who was a good customer of the farm I worked with Annie and Berthold. He told me a story about a young girl who was picked up by the survey scouts deep in the woods outside the walls; I was interested in his story and let him tell me everything he knew. He told me that this girl could not remember how she managed to get so far into the land without a horse, also she seemed to suffer from Amnesia due she had no other memories than her name (first & last name). The farmer told me what happened to her after the military police had caught her, her current location was the underground city or better knows as the slums underneath wall Sina. With all this information I wanted to get down there to investigate but before I could bring my plan to life, destiny decided to make it easier. A few days after the farmer told me about her I was chopping woods in the close by forest, I was tired and took a break lying into the grass and gazing at the sun. I suddenly heard a noise as if a stone had fallen down from somewhere; I got up and looked around when I notice a small hole in the ground. I investigated it and a pair of eyes stared at me from the hole, once I heard her name I befriended her. "a cold chill run down your spine as you listed to his words, they sounded so cold and emotionless as if he had only done his job by meeting you.

"The contact broke off once I left the farm but not long after that we met again at the cadet corps for which me, Annie and Berthold signed up for to find out the Attack Titan. I continued to keep and close eye on her and tried to find out if she remembered anything, but her amnesia was surely real, there were no signs of her lying. I sometimes tricked her with words and hoped she would fall for it but she never did. All the funny conversations you had, the moments you spend alone with him, even those times he saved you from death? Were those all made up for this purpose only?

"Now that we have the situation clarified, we should decide how to proceed. Tell us Warrior (last name), what do the eldian demons plan? Are they aware of the outside world?" you were still shaking and kept your fists pressed together, the judge was staring at you waiting for an answer

"The eldian... demons?" you mumbled

"Tell us what you know, they must plan something, it is in their nature to be corrupted" you turned angry, even if you regained your memories and where born in this town you still spend a long time on the island and got to know these people you called your friends.

"You have no idea how they are like..." you started, still hardly trying to suppress your emotions

"You have no idea how they are like! How can you judge them when you never have even met them?? Just because they are demons in your eyes you have no right to say such a thing! Those people you call corrupt are my friends! They were there for me when I was sad and lonely, I fought alongside with them by putting my life on the line! You have no idea how it feels like to grow up in fear! Those people are living their lives imprisoned behind those walls, scared of the titans that roam the island! Each and everyone I got to know is a brave soldier willing to risk his life for the sake of humanity! You, who have never even faced a titan who is approaching you with the intent to eat you, will never understand how it feels like to be afraid!" you grabbed the files and ripped them apart spreading the shreds in the room

"How can you sit on that chair and judge other people you never have even met before just because they are of eldian blood! I wish I had never come back to this island in the first place, you people have no heart, all you can do is send out young innocent children who you had deceived into warriors to do the dirty work for you!" the judge raised and crashed his hands on the desk

"ENOUGH!" the room fell silent

"How dare you speak to me in such a tone? This is disrespectfull! I herewith discharge you of your warrior title and duties!" you gave him a death glare

"Do you honestly think I care about that?? I never saw myself as a warrior in the first place! The life I lived suffering from Amnesia is the only life I remember, even if it was based on the good will of the people from the slums I prefer this life 100 times over this! I rather am called a traitor than a warrior fighting for Marley! You people mean nothing to me compared to those I left behind!" the judge grabbed his hammer and stumped on his table, 2 soldiers walked up from behind and grabbed you under your arms

"LET GO OFF ME!" you protested

"From this day forward you are a prisoner of this country and banished to ever set foot above ground again! Take her away!" the soldiers started to drag your protesting form towards the exit when Reiner suddenly interrupted the judge's judgement

"Wait!" he called rising from his seat, everyone went silent and stared at him, the soldiers stopped to his command

"Sir, I understand your judgment fully but let me please suggest another option." Your eyes widened in confusion

"Proceed" the judge allowed him

"Thank you sir, instead of banishing her leave her in my care."

"And what are you thinking to do?"

"I am working on a new program currently and I want her in my team to help me finish it, you know what program I am talking about" the judge was quiet for a moment until he agreed

"Understood, I leave her in your hands Warrior Braun, todays session is herewith closed!"
