The Next Morning
"Alright, if we split the C4 supply and half it, we can cover more ground." Rebecca explained, "Two of us on each side of the ventilation system should do the trick."
"Well how's the pairing gonna work then?" I questioned, crossing my arms.
"Maybe.." Rebecca looked down at the maps again, "You and Sean take the left side and me and Mark will take the right side?"
"Alright then.." Sean agreed.
We began splitting up the C4, I carried one half and Rebecca carried the other half, Mark kept ahold of the detonator.
We left the house and made our way through the alleyways as quickly as we could, we managed to make our way to a building beside the police station where there was a ladder. We climbed up and (despite the struggle we made it) the police station was only a jump away.
Taking one big leap, the four of us managed to make it to the other side, although Mark had a few minor problems, we were now on the roof of the police station.
Rebecca crouched down in front of the opening to the ventilation system, which was closed shut. As she put on her black gloves, which were used to cleverly disguise and cover up her fingerprints, she was able to grab the vent door with ease and yank it off, throwing it to the side.
"Remember what I said guys.." Rebecca started, "You've gotta be careful in these vents, all kinds of shit can go down, you all better hope you're prepared." She informed, warning us and standing back up.
"Yep. Got it." I nodded.
"Understood." Sean acknowledged her instructions.
Mark gave a simple nod, in which Rebecca returned with a smile.
"Alright, whose going first?" Rebecca asked.
"I will I guess." I offered.
I climbed in and carefully slid down, I turned left and waited for Sean, who I knew was coming next. The vents were oddly quite big, they were wide and tall enough to sit upright in, which was quite lucky for us, this made our task much easier to complete.

I soon followed Felix and we continued through our side of the ventilation system.
At each corner we came to we planted one C4, until we knew we had completely covered our side of the ventilation. Even though we didn't have an unlimited supply of C4, Felix and I had thoroughly planned where we would place it, so that it was evenly spread out and reached every part of the left side of the police station. We made sure it all worked out correctly, so we had enough C4 to cover our assigned area.
Felix and I were working hard as a duo, I continuously informed him of where we were on the map and he was able to quickly attach the C4 to its designated place. As we continued crawling through the vents, we came to a hole, which made us stop abruptly. Staying extremely quiet, we saw two men talking to each other, about something quite interesting. And no doubt was it something seriously severe.
"Hey, did you hear about 'The World's Most Wanted'?" The first guy spoke.
"I think everyone's heard of them by now James." The other guy responded.
"Yeah, but the police back in L.A apparently found out who they are, they haven't revealed names to the public, but they said an anonymous witness came forward and told them who they think they are, they're on the search for them as of right now." James explained.
Felix and I exchanged nervous glances, but continued to hear the two men out.
"It's about time I say.." The other man stated, as he and James walked away.
"Holy shit.." I whispered quietly.
"I know. But we gotta keep moving and get the fuck outta here." Felix replied, keeping his voice down.
We carefully climbed over the gap and continued along with the plan, placing C4 at the exact points we needed to.

Rebecca and I stuck to the plan and placed the C4 in the correct places, it had only been a half hour and we were almost a quarter of the way through our side of the ventilation system. Despite my injuries, we were doing okay, I was handing over the C4 and Rebecca was continuously checking the map.
We proceeded to crawl through the vents, until Rebecca and I reached a oddly, quite wide gap. We cautiously looked down and we were even able to look up, as there was more ventilation above us, that led back to the roof.
"Ah fuck.." Rebecca muttered, "It's a long drop, we gotta be careful."
"Do you want me to go first?" I offered.
"A-Are you sure?" Rebecca stuttered slightly.
"Yeah, I'll be okay." I nodded.
I moved forward a bit and carefully got to the edge, making a grasp for the other side... I just about got to it. I then pushed myself to get over to the other side, and I thankfully did.
Rebecca went next, she looked down and then up again, with her slow movements I noticed she seemed... scared? She made a small leap for it and managed to grab the ledge, but the rest of her body slammed against the side, I heard her wince and she began to lose her grip. I quickly offered my hand and she grabbed it, I didn't care how badly my stomach hurt, I pulled her up and she seemed kinda shaky afterwards.
I inhaled quickly, the pain kicking in a bit, I just lay down for a minute and Rebecca sat beside me.
"S-Shit.. Sorry.." She murmured under her breath.
"Don't worry.. It's okay.." I insisted softly, sitting up carefully.
We were about to continued but then I noticed that Rebecca stopped in her tracks, she had her eyes closed, her breathing was shallow, echoing through the vents, "I-I..."
She was having a small panic attack.
I rushed over to her side, feeling her body trembling, "Hey," I spoke up, subconsciously grabbing her hand which was cold, "I'm here, it's okay." I comforted, "Let's just go back."
"N-no... we have to keep moving." She mumbled.
I cleared my throat, "Then we move together, I won't leave your side." I then quickly looked her over, seeing if she had any visible cuts from her body slamming against the vents. "Does any particular part of your body hurt?" I asked innocently.
"My left arm hurts a bit.." Rebecca admitted, checking her left arm.
A long, seemingly painful graze (that was still bleeding) lay upon her arm. I quickly and carefully got out some tissues and a bandage from Rebecca's backpack. Gripping her left wrist softly, I gently dabbed her arm to stop the bleeding and clean the cut, then proceeding to put the bandage around the cut so nothing could infect the open wound.
I looked back up at Rebecca and smirked, "You're one hell of a daredevil." I commented.
I managed to get Rebecca to crack a smile and quietly laugh. "Says you." She replied back with a grin. I chuckled.
We continued through the vents, putting the C4 where it needed to go. I did keep checking on Rebecca, even though I knew she was okay, I wanted to be sure though. We stayed right beside each other as we continued to stick to the plan.
