"Oh.. I.. I'm okay.." I paused a bit, stumbling on my words.

"You sure?" Mark asked, seeming genuinely concerned.

"Yeah." I nodded quickly.

"Okay.." Mark replied. "Looks like we've got another long ass journey getting to New Jersey." He sighed.

"Another? How many damn journeys have you guys been on?" Rebecca scoffed a little, glancing across at Mark in a bit of amusement.

"Not many, but when we have, they've been pretty long." Mark explained.

"So is 16 hours the longest journey you've done?" Rebecca inquired.

"Nope, we've gone way longer than that." I stated, a small smile on my face. "Our longest one was one hell of a journey."

"It took us about 27 hours just to get to Mississippi." Mark declared.

"Goddamn." Rebecca stifled a small laugh, "Can't even begin to imagine the shit you must've done to get to Mississippi."

"Let's just say a lot happened on that journey." I smiled a little, shaking my head.

"How did you manage to get past the sobriety checkpoint? They're quite protected and the place is rigged with hidden cameras." Rebecca smirked slightly, a bit confused.

"Mark thought up a wild and wacky idea and we nearly died." I responded casually, crossing my arms.

"Ah shut up! You still lived you asshole." Mark remarked jokingly, keeping his focus on the road.

We were alarmed by Sean's input. "Wait.. Did you say that the checkpoint was rigged with hidden cameras?"

Rebecca nodded awkwardly.

"Fuck! That means they know what we look like.. We didn't wear masks or anything, even if it was pitch black and the lighting was terrible, mine and Mark's hair are fucking brighter than a lighthouse beacon!" Sean exclaimed in concern.

"Anyone can have green or red hair Sean." Mark retaliated calmly.

"Mark, we were youtubers before we became criminals, we may have erased most of our online existence, but what if a fan of ours has reported our names to the police, then what?!" Sean retorted, making quite a valid point.

"Surely they can't get to us? This car has a fake number plate and there's no way they're able to track our whereabouts." I butted in, trying to calm the situation at hand.

"Look, we're just gonna have to be very careful as to where we venture from now on. I don't want to be bunged up in jail because we made a stupid mistake." Sean replied.

"Well, how long ago was it when you were surpassing that checkpoint?" Rebecca questioned, seemingly trying to put together some logic.

"Several days ago, maybe even a week.." Mark implied, scratching his head.

"Yeah, they would've caught you by now if they knew all of your details, I don't think they'd have much to go on at this point." Rebecca elucidated, "Believe me, I know how all this police bullshit works."

"How do you know how it works?" Sean queried sincerely.

"One of my best friends used to be a cop, back before I became a criminal. She.." Rebecca paused for a moment, zoning out and exhaling quickly. "She got shot and killed a while ago, but I've learnt to live with it."

"Is that why you became a criminal?" I inquired innocently, leaning forward a little.

She shook her head slowly, stifling a small laugh. "Nah, there's a lot more history behind why I do this shit.. I er... don't wanna talk about it right now though.." She sighed, her head turned to face the window and her dark green orbs carried a low-spirited stare, glazed over with tears.

I reluctantly left her to her own thoughts, I didn't want to, but I knew she needed space. Sean kept the conversation going.

"Well, lets hope the cops don't catch us out anytime soon.." Sean muttered, leaning back and crossing his arms.

"Hey, Felix?" I questioned softly, his head darted slightly towards me.

"Yeah?" He simply replied.

"How much ammunition have we got left?" I asked, maintaining my grip on the steering wheel and staying alert.

"Last time I checked we were pretty good on automatic ammo, but we were running low on shotgun and AK47 ammo." Felix responded, rubbing the back of his neck.

"Okay then. We'll see if Cry and Aaron got anymore gear or ammunition when they wake up." I spoke in a quiet tone, hoping I wouldn't wake them up unnaturally. "For now, we should focus on getting to New Jersey, watch out for any suspicious cameras or cops that you may see around." I grasped the steering wheel a little tighter, keeping focus on the road.

Minutes Later..

Cry and Aaron groaned a little as they opened their eyes, they seemed to still be in a lot of pain.

"You guys okay?" I spoke out, looking into the rear view mirror.

"Y-Yeah.. Just.. Y-Y'know.." Cry stuttered, "I'm glad I'm n-not bleeding anymore t-to be h-honest."

I nodded briefly.

"I'm managing... C-Considering my s-situation.." Aaron tried his best to talk clearly.

"Thank god you escaped the assholes that beat you both to shit.." Sean responded.

"I'm surprised w-we escaped o-ourselves.." Cry scoffed very lightly, leaning back cautiously.

"Oh yeah, Cry, Aaron, did you manage to get any ammunition or gear?" I inquired.

"K-Kinda.." Cry murmured.

"We managed getting a-ammo, but we didn't g-get much weaponry.." Aaron explained.

"That's still okay, so long as we look after our weapons and keep track of out ammunition levels, we're pretty much unstoppable." I smirked.

Rebecca suddenly spoke out.

"You guys might wanna have some handheld weapons too y'know." She outspoke. "There'll definitely be some close contact.."

"Yeah we've got machetes, those could make a mess in a matter of seconds." Felix grinned.

"Good." Rebecca laughed a bit, "I've got a dagger so I don't need a machete."

Close contact?! Since when have we ever came into immediate close contact when dealing with cops?? I pushed my questionable thoughts to the back of my mind, I had a whole lot more to focus on than what Rebecca's plans were. My head would often throb and I'd see things that would make me do a double take, hallucinations. That wasn't good. At some points I wasn't even able to tell what was real and what wasn't.
Last time I had a hallucination, I almost got Mark killed, I can't let that happen again, it would kill me if I lost Felix or Mark, we may argue most of the time, but they've been there for me in my toughest moments, I can't live without them.

I always thought I'd be the only one out of the three of us that would not go insane, however, that's quite questionable as of right now. We're all losing the plot, and it feels like we've lost it from day one...
