Light's P.O.V.

My alarm clock blared in my ears. 

Damn, I was having a dream about (y/n) and I...  AND THAT STUPID ALARM CLOCK HAD TO RUIN IT!!!!!!!!!!!!

I sighed getting up. I walked over to my dresser, my dream still fresh in my head. It was wonderful, I asked her out, she said yes, and I rubbed it in everyone's faces as I became God of the new world. Simple, right? The only problem was to get to go out with me....

Ugh, what am I doing wrong? I used to be such a lady's man in high school! 

I grabbed some cereal and made my way to the surveillance room. I screamed bloody murder. Let's just say what I saw was not something I wanted to see. On the couch, was (y/n) and Ryuzaki sleeping and cuddling together. Her head was on his chest and her hair surrounded her angelic face like a halo; while had his arms wrapped protectively around her waist.

I turned her head to kiss her cheek, but she only buried her head deeper into L's chest, causing him to pull her closer to him.

I pouted and gently kissed her hair, which smelled like strawberries. I took another breath in of the heavenly scent and sighed in happiness(kinda like the people in the frebreze commercials).

Not only does she look beautiful, is graceful, and has an amazing personality, but she also smells delicious... That sounded creepy, but it's true....

I looked at L. He was actually smilling and he is asleep, which never happens. I kicked him, hoping to inflict some pain for cuddling with my property. He winced, rolled over, and hugged (y/n) even tighter. She smiled and nuzzled into his chest. I stared at them for about five minutes, when (y/n) yawned and stretched, her eyes fluttering open. I quickly turned the corner and left the room.

Get (y/n) to love plan, is now in motion.

Your P.O.V.

I nuzzled my face into my pillow. It was so comfy, that I never wanted to wake up. It was warm, flat, toned yet soft enough to fall asleep on, and it moved up and down rhythmically. 

Wait. Since when did my pillow move up and down? And toned? My pillow is made of memory foam....

I yawned, stretched and opened my eyes. My 'mystery' pillow wasn't a pillow, but rather a person, and my boss on top of that. I looked down at him. He was grinning in his sleep and had his arms wrapped around my waist.

Aww... He's sooo cute!!

I nudged him awake. He slowly opened his eyes followed by a yawn.

"Good morning." He purred.

Oh god. He is one of those people with a melodious morning voice.

"Morning L, um.. Would you let go of me? Please?"

"No." He pouted and buried his face into my neck.

"L..."

"No."

"L... We need to get to work, before anyone else wakes up." I cooed.

He groaned in annoyance and let go, getting up. I stood up with him, walking towards my chair, as a place hand grabbed my wrist. L turned me around and gave me a light peck on the cheek and continued to make his way to his seat. I sat down and tried to calm my flaming cheeks as Light walked in.

"Good morning."

"Good morning, Light."

"Mornin imagay."

Light pouted at his new nickname and took a seat, right next to me, of course. He scooted over until our shoulder were touching. To make it worse, he started to hum. Off tune.

"Light."

"Yes?"

"Your voice is terrible."

"Oh really?," he leaned in and whispered in my ear," come with me to your studio and I'll sing a better song for you."

I sighed and turned to L. "L, do you mind if Light shows me his 'amazing' singing voice?" I was so sarcastic that you could practically see the sarcasm dripping of my words.

"Sure, only if I can come too."

Light groaned but nonetheless grabbed my wrist leading me to MY OWN ROOM. 

Light, I think I know the way to my room, thank you very much.

L and I walked to the recording station while Light took out a CD (no doubt the background music) and loaded it into the speaker system. He then started the music and moved in front of the mic.

And unfortunately for L and I, the music began:

Light's P.O.V.

The music ended and I looked at (y/n). She looked terrified, but she quickly returned to a blank face."Light?"

"Yes?~"

"Even though you were using a mic programmed to adjust your voice, you still managed to sound awful." She spoke, her voice cold as ice. "Now can we please go back to work?"

I growled and grabbed her wrist pinning her to a wall. "No, you listen here, what I was singing about? I meant that stuff. (Y/n), if you don't love me normally, I might have to resort to other matters." I leaned in to kiss her, but instead of soft lips, I felt a hand smack me across the face and I was kicked where you are not supposed to kick a man. I groaned and let go of her wrist. (Y/n) 'tched', gave me a death glare, and briskly left.
