Saturday Discussion.

Thanks for coming over to say hello! How have you enjoyed this weeks book recommendations?

This past week we have focused on 'Strong Women'

- use the comments in this chapter to discuss what you think of this prompt and how it relates to the werewolf genre!

Do you think there are enough strong women characters?

Would you like to see more?

What are your tips for writing strong women that you would like to share with other writers?

Have you read any of the books we have featured in the past week? If so, what did you think about them?

If you felt that we missed a book and author you think should have been featured, make sure to tag them and name the book so others can find them!

Thank you to bluedrop77 for the great prompt response in the comments last Sunday, on her take of what 'strong women' means to her in the werewolf world-

'Everyone knew the Luna. They would have to be living under a rock to not have at least heard about her. Her beauty was great and her deeds were legendary.

With skin as dark as night and eyes as deep and dark as the ocean, the Luna rules her pack with precision and mercy. Her hair was rich and long, always pulled into the simplest of braids. She was called the Luna in honour of the moon itself, though she shone even brighter than it could even hope to surpass. They say she fought off an entire clan of vampires with only a few friends by her side, and saved many fellow werewolves from themselves and natural disasters.

Her mate was not known as well as she, but he, too, was fierce and brave. Not all strong women must fight alone and she chose to have someone who would always have her back in both times of peril and peace. Together they made an unstoppable team, although everyone knew that the Luna would always be more well known than her mate.

The Luna was one of a kind. She was swift and graceful, sturdy and strong. She was brave and merciful, powerful and humble. Of course she had her flaws, two of them being her stubbornness and rashness, but she was also able to use them in her favour. For who else but the Luna would be able to gain the centaurs' trust or make a pact with the neighbouring humans?

Everyone knew the Luna, and they would not soon forget her.'

To get a shout-out in next Saturday's discussion chapter, make sure to post a response to the prompt given in tomorrows (Sunday) chapter! Good Luck!
