SYNOPSIS

They were from different worlds. She belonged with humans and he belonged with werewolves. He waited a long time to find her.

Now that he has, he isn't planning on letting go.

EXCERPT

"I may not have the resources that you have but I sure as hell have a mouth and I'm not afraid to run it. If you continue to mess with my family, I will run to the press and inform them that Adrian Miller is a sadistic asshole who spends his time suing the poor, catfishing women, and setting people up with falsified checks!" she fiercely proclaimed.

Adrian's expression remained passive. The lack of reaction to her rant only served to flare her anger.

Eva decided to make her exit before she gave into her fury. The last thing she needed was getting arrested for assault and battery.

"That will be all. Have a great evening, Miller."

With a dismissive glare, she spun around and grasped the door handle. She pulled the door open and was about to walk through it when a large palm slammed into it, causing it to violently rattle shut. A large crack now ran down the middle of the wooden door.

She blinked, startled by the aggressiveness. Before she could process her next thought, a warm and wide chest pressed into her back.

"It's my turn now," Adrian snarled and spun her around.

And that's how she found herself in the arms of a dangerous man with a dangerously ferocious scowl on his face.

Hmm.. maybe charging into his office and spewing emotionally-charged threats wasn't such a good idea after all.
