Scydelle

Dedicated to Fantasy and YAFantasy

Loneliness killing inside out

Darkness creeping in from out

Hope fading all out

Dejected in a corner, I lay down.

Faint calling from far above

A calling mysterious and chasmic.

Dazed, I move so deep

Amidst the grassy heap.

Back at my family's farm

There glitters a golden charm.

Faint yet strangely familiar

Sharp and crystal clear

The dagger's call, I hear.

Out in the dusk

A flavor of golden musk

Lingers in the arid gale

Of the Kingdom Scydelle.

Forbidden was the teen's strides

Out from their homey steps

For a dagger cursed and rare

Seeks a master young,

And the bearer has to bear

An unfathomable fate.

Oblivious to the cursed fate

Towards the dagger I stride, desolate.

Crickets chirp and hyenas laugh

As I hold the dagger's staff,

Booming voices thunders harsh

Streaks of lightning lands on marsh.

I shriek with fright

Not daring to fight

A mystical aura subdues my flight.

The rumours made no sense

Until now, as I feel the scent

Of the treacherous hallow,

Neither magical nor mystical

But of rotting maniacal spirits

Awaiting to be released

From the hellhound's clutches.

For the clenches to ease

A teen was in need

For the bloody sacrifice.

As I take in the sight

The dagger shines bright

Horror seeps in my heart

Pupils dilate so wide

Reflecting golden streaks of light.

The dagger plunges deep

Ripping my heart to bleed.

My world falls apart

As my soul departs

Releasing the maniac Prince.
