Abyssos

Dedicated to retold & Fairytales

Mysterious yet melodious, is the Ocean's Song,

Of the Kingdom of the Abyssos,

Dwelling under the waters of the Quorin.

Little urchins, sea dragons and the mers,

Under the watch of Queen Claire,

Cherished happily with a threat though.

Shielded within the kingdom walls,

Ocean's song, holds their life long,

Keeping at bay, the evil calls.

Lurking in the Dead Waters,

Was the witch siren Otter,

Awaiting to snatch the Ocean Song.

Amidst the festives of Abyssos,

Otter found the loop hole,

Succeeding in stealing the song.

Chaos all around,

Evil laughter echoed throughout the town,

As the siren swam through the dead waters.

Once a bright Kingdom with gay

Was now all withering grey

As the Ocean song had gone away.

Day by day, the kingdom neared its doom,

Precious plants failing to bloom

Mers falling sick, all pale and gloom.

Queen Claire summoned Princess Ariel,

Handing over the holy grail,

She ordained her to retrieve the Ocean song.

Out of her kingdom walls,

She swam through the deadly paths,

Carrying her totem and sword.

Shapeshifting, water bending and speed,

Were her magical powers in handy,

To defeat the witch siren uncanny.

Dirty and slimy, turned the clear waters,

Warning her of the dangerous spot,

Where darkness prevails and murders.

Struggling hard, she swam through

The holy grail guiding her view

Revealing the path to the secret dome.

Wild monsters and evil sirens,

Surrounded her with sinister smiles

Hindering her marching forth.

Quick clash of swords,

Echoed through the waves,

As the evil monsters lay dead.

Ocean song, alluring her strong

Towards the dome she swam fast

To retrieve her kingdom's life.

As expected, there she was,

The evil siren Otter,

Menacingly marching back and forth.

Summoning her powers, Ariel was all set,

For the battle against the Otter,

To save her kingdom waters.

Shifting into the tiniest form,

Ariel plunged to harm,

Bending the water around her.

Wielding the sharpest sword,

Drawn out from the flowing waves,

She sprang right into her chest.

Luky was she, to hit the target right,

In her tiniest form, she never failed a fight,

The evil witch broke down dead, waning with the waves.

Victorious was her return,

To her kingdom Abyssos,

Merrily rejoicing as before.
