Jolly's POV

"Ughhh, my head!" I groan painfully, as I stand up from the mysterious place I fell from. Looking around, I see nothing but a large forest cover with slash marks and some large footprints. The patch of trees near it is brunt. Well this is creepy.

Walking out into a clearing, I jump as lightning strikes across the sky. "Saph. Big-brother?" I call, but no one answers. I start to scream as I keep running. "Saph! Saph! Where are you!" I cry, the crunching sound of dead leaves and flowers underneath my feet is not helping.

After a while of screaming and running, I get tired and stop. I see a cave in the distance and decide to camp in. It's damp and cold, making me shiver. I don't have anything to keep me warm, so I hug my knees to my face. Wishing Saph was here, I fall asleep.

I wake up to the bright sun burning my eyes. Yawning, I stand up, but something by my side made me fall back down to the ground. I look down to find a long, glowing stick with a ruby attached to its handle, shining in the bright sun light. When did I get this thing, I thought as I pick it up and start waving it around. To my surprise, it isn't heavy.

Accidentally hitting a tree, my mouth falls wide open as it literally slices it clean in half. "Woahhhhhh! So cool!" I squeak and start swinging it against the rocks, causing the cave to collapse. "Ahhhhhh!" I scream and ran out as fast as I can. I throw whatever I had just used on the ground.

What is this thing? It's like a cursed wand. An info box pops up as I hover over it. I gasp. It's a sword. "Dragon Slayer? As by the name it can kill dragons...." blah blah blah. "There's actually dragons in this game?!" Just as I say that, a roar shakes the whole forest. "Yup there definitely is. I'm toast! Saph! Help me!" I scream, but quickly realize that he's not here.

Without Saph, I am nothing. He's the one that's always protecting me even though I am older than him. I stop crying as Grace's serious voice came across my mind. "Stop crying, you can't survive unless you do stuff on your own Saph is not always going to be with you!"

She's right. Now I am on my own.
Everyone has been separated, but I bet they haven't lost hope. The Phoenix will be together again. And this time, I will be stronger.

With that thought in mind, I walk deeper into the forest.

While walking, I tamper with the sword. "Ughh how do I even use this thing. Right now it will only slice trees." I sigh in frustration as my stomach growls in hunger.

Another roar shook the forest, but this time it was closer. 'Am I walking towards it!?' I thought, panicking.

Sweat starts to run down my back as I spot a huge cave right in front of me. Turning on my heels I start to run, but a wall of lightning blocks my path. I turn around to find a pair of red eyes staring right at me.

"Hello human. You can't get away from me now. Give me that Dragon Slayer. I have been waiting for one to show up for years!" It hisses. I don't know what to do so I crack a joke. The joke seems to anger it even more. I start to run as it charges at me.

"Why am I the one that's always getting chased! Ahhhhh!" I scream as a strike of lightning almost hit me in the head. "You almost burnt my hair, BAKA!"

Being the clumsy one of the group I wasn't looking where I was going, and tripped over a vine.

He picked me up with his claw and shock me by the back. "Owwwww! Are you the descendant of Thor or something!" I scream, trying my best to kick free. "Are you stupid? Your kicks tickle!" He laughs. "I am not stupid. Small kicks will eventually do damage."

He brought me closer to his face. "Interesting, you are the first human to ever say that to me." He says, lowering me. "What are you doin-" before I could even finish my sentence, he throws me into the cave.

The cave was really large. I'm pretty sure I broke something when I heard a pop. "That fake Thor!" I mutter, standing up and stomping my left feet on the ground only to immediately fell back down. "Owww! That stupid Thor popped my knee, I am telling Saph and he's going to kill him!"

Using the sword as a cane I wonder around the cave. I stop when I spot a glowing ball of light.

When I walk closer to it, it turned out to be a ball with a lighting strike in it. "Hm? A tennis ball with lightning designs? I may be able to play with it with Saph when we meet up." I grin happily and grab the ball off of its podium.

Instantly being blinded by a bright green light, I gasp and looked down as it became a lightning bolt necklace over a bright pink dress, and my usual running shoes was replaced with pink boots. The ruby sword I had was replaced with a lightning charm bracelet, placed over my wrist.

"Hello, Human."An annoying voice said as I walk out the cave. "You stupid dra....." My voice trails off as I saw a half naked human instead of a dragon in front me. I blush. He's good looking with yellow hair and sky blue eyes along with a lighting scar on his chest.

"I have a name, Jolly." He gave me a nod. Wow this guy is so cold. "What's your name?" "Bolt, the former Lightning Tamer." He shrugged.

"What happened to you? Weren't you a dragon trying to kill me before?" I ask, turning my head away from him. "You are so annoying, questions after question give me a break." He snaps, but then continues. "The dragon is my sprit animal, it just came to test you, and congrats. You passed it." I cocked an eyebrow. "Huh?"

He sighs, "see that necklace? It's the Necklace of a Lighting Tamer. You can now control lightning. Get stronger and use that power to light up others around you."

"How did I became this?!

"Where's your necklace?!"

He ignored my last question.
"The stone choose you. I finally got to see it, the next lightning tamer. Now go and train." He huffs and starts walking back into the cave. "I am not leaving until I find my friends."  I scream. He stops and turns back to me. "You want the hard way huh?" He comments and then whistles.

In a matter of seconds, the dragon that attacked me flaps down in front of him. "Aoda, throw her out so she can train." It nods and picks me up.

"Oi! Not this againnnnnnnn!" I scream as he threw me across the forest. "Stupid dragon!!!"
