Epilogue/Prologue - Traveling To And Experiencing The New Dimension
I followed Bill to the top of Mt. Coronet and to Giratina's peak. "Trust me, Bill," I said, taking the lead. "Giratina will remember me. He has to."
When we got to Giratina's peak, he wasn't there. "Dangit. Bill, we'll have to go with plan B." I changed into a Charizard. "We should head back to your house."
Bill shook his head. "No. This place will be good to set up the portal. It's out of the way and we can do it here because of Giratina's residential energy."
"Alright, Bill. Let's set up."
"Crystal, are you sure you want to do this? Leave this dimension?"
"Yes. I want to explore, and you said this world was full of Pokémon, not humans so much. I'll blend in and see how it's like." I fingered my newly-cut Poké coin necklace. The inside was cut to leave the metal and the outline, the middle being a clover. In the clear mountain sky's sunlight, it glowed gold. "I'll be okay. I don't even need your machinery to get back, Bill. You're trying to make a portal so the two worlds connect, and this is the easiest way. Tracking me."
With difficulty, I changed from Charizard to Giratina's origin forme. When my bones started to shift, I grunted with pain, but held my own. Inwardly, though, it was torture. When it was complete, I stood regally as the second ruler of dimensions. I let out a sigh. "This'll all be worth it."
Bill gave me a bracelt, the arm size of a Charmander. That's what I would be posing as, and if anything turned sour, I could also be a Purrloin. "Ready?" Bill called. His tracker was set up and everything was working.
"Yes." I handed him a little note. "Put this with my first journal. Kevin knows where it is, so ask him." Turning to the place I would open the portal, I opened the portal, waved bye to Bill with the tendrils that came of of my back, and dove through.

I woke up in a dark world, as myself. A small blue-teal wisp of air just vanished as I saw it, and I guessed Bill got the machine running. The tracker bracelet was on the ground next to me, as well as my small bag of food, parchment, books, a camera, my Pokéflute, and the journal I would be writing in. The bracelet would fit my wrist as well as a Charmander-version-of-me's, so I stayed human for a short time. I did have to take note that the world seemed dead, not at all Pokémon-ruled. I stood up and in the distance I saw some kind of thing glowing, maybe a city or something. When I was about to walk toward the light, I heard a voice. And I heard it again. It sounded angry.
Quietly, I snuck toward it. I saw a Treecko glaring at the city. "Hello?" I asked quietly and carefully.
The Treeko turned and glared at me with a burning fury. He got into a fighting stance. "Leave. Dry Bluff is my home."
I put my hands up in an attempt to look harmless. "I don't want to fight. What is that place over there?"
"You don't know?" The Treecko sighed. "That's where Dusknoir and his Sableye have made permanent camp."
"Is there someplace I can stay, there?"
The Treecko started laughing. Not a kind, joyous laugh, no. It was more of a sneer or scorn. "You'd have to be insane to go there looking for refuge. Why don't you know anything?"
"I'm new around here."
"Hmph."
"What time is it?" I asked. Surely it was night time.
"Time is dead here. Who are you?" He said the fact so casually I nearly missed it.
"Time is dead?"
"That's right. Who are you?" The question was asked much more agressively.
"I'm known as Pearl. Who are you?"
"Name's Treecko." Reluctantly, he stuck out his hand. I shook it.
"Pleasure to meet you, Treecko."
"Same to you, Pearl. Don't make me regret it."
I pulled out some food from my pack, and offered some to Treecko. "You won't. Could you tell me a bit more of this land?"
✦ ✦ ❦ ✦ ✦
What I learned was staggering. Treecko had never seen the sun rise nor set because the world was paralyzed. It was always dark, always lifeless, and has been for many generations now.
"How did this world get paralyzed?"
Treecko was reclined against a rock, watching the dead sky. "The collapse of Temporal Tower. You know who Dialga is, don't you?"
I nodded. "Yes. He is the ruler of time, Palkia is the ruler of space, and Giratina is the ruler of dimensions."
"Temporal Tower is where Dialga controled time," Treecko continued. "The place was the embodiment of time itself. When it collapsed..." Treeko trailed off.
"Then time itself collapsed," I finish. "So you're telling me you've never seen the sun, moon, stars, or true life before?"
"That's right. No one has. Primal Dialga is the only one, but he is mad with the primordial instinct to stay alive. If there was a way to make the world alive again, my friend would be happy." He sighed.
"What if there is a way?" I ask, ever hopeful.
Treecko sat up. "What? There is no way to make an entire world alive again."
"Haven't you heard the saying, 'Where there's a will, there's a way?'"
"You haven't been made miserable by this world of darkness, apparently."
"There are two Pokémon who have relations with time, Treecko," I pointed out. "The other one doesn't depend on time's stability: Celebi." Treecko went rigid. "What's wrong?"
"Celebi... she's my friend. She talks about wanting to change the world from darkness, but not often. She is the one who brings it up, and I just let her carry the conversation."
"Don't you want the world to change from darkness, Treecko?" I ask. He can't just not care, can he?
"I don't know. I can live like this. I don't need to do anything more." He shrugged.
"May I talk to Celebi, Treecko?"
He got agressive. "Not until I know I can trust you."
A new voice penetrated the tense air. "Dearest Treecko, it's not your choice who I talk to." Celebi came out of the shadows. "Nice to meet you, Pearl."
Now, I was very smart in my word choice. "You're pink?" When I realized what I had said, I slapped my hand over my mouth. "I'm so sorry!"
Celebi chuckled. "Many imagine me green. I guess you did, too. You've actually seen the sunlight, the day and the night?"
I nodded. "I have. I come from another land. You want to keep this world away from this dark future from what I heard from Treecko."
"Yes. Treecko isn't all too enthusiastic, though."
I pulled out one of my books. "I think I can help convince him." I started flipping through the pages, looking for a picture of the sunrise or sunset. I found two pages with them both. "Treecko, you should see this." I turned the book so it was facing him and Celebi. "This is what you are missing. Color, in a living world."
Treecko stared at the pictures, awestruck, his eyes wide. "Treecko," Celebi started, "do you see why this world can't stay this way now?"
Mutely, he nodded. "I see. But this would be dangerous; Primal Dialga and Dusknoir will have bounties on our heads. We'll be outlaws."
"Would you rather live without colors and in a hostile world?" I countered. Treecko stayed silent.
"Treecko, this world will never be alive unless someone does something. Pearl knows what an alive world is like. She can help us," Celebi pressed.
"I will, too. I'll do anything to show your land the sunrise," I said.
Treecko considered the idea for a moment. Then, abruptly, he nodded. "Alright, I'm in."
This took me off guard. "Just like that?"
"That's right." Treecko got up. "Well?"
"Well, what?" Celebi and I asked at the same time.
"We should start training. We need to be quick and have endurance. I've seen how the Sableye are trained, and they have plenty of endurance."
Celebi nodded. "I know a place we can go, and it's deserted for the most part, at the deepest clearing of the forest. Not to mention the Passage of Time is there, too. Dusk Forest is where we should go."
I stood up. "What's the Passage of Time, Celebi?"
"I can use it to travel through time, through many generations. Alone I can't travel that far, so I've learned how to use the Passage to go farther than I normally would be able to."
"Then we should head out. Time is of no value here, but the sooner we start, the sooner we will finish." I grabbed my small bag and put the book inside it, throwing it over my shoulder.
"Yeah," Treecko glanced at Dusknoir's compound. "Let's head out."
Celebi flew over to me and hovered. "Don't tell me you are a serious, I-have-to-work person like Treecko. He's always so serious; I don't need a double of that." She giggled at the end.
I joined in. "No, Celebi, I'll be serious, but this land... I can't afford to lose my sense of humor until it's all over."
"It'll be three day's journey at the pace we've set," Celebi warned, taking the lead and ultimately setting the pace.
Treecko nodded, and walked next to Celebi. "We need to exercise, since we need to build up our endurance."
"And when we get there, we can work on combat skills," I added, walking on Celebi's other side.
✦ ✦ ❦ ✦ ✦
Just as Celebi had said, it did three take days of walking to get to the forest clearing. To me, it didn't feel like the middle of the forest, more like the edge that was back up against a cliff, not that I saw the cliff. There was a cliff-like thing that was above the forest floor, however. "That's where the Passage of Time is, Pearl." Celebi had silently flown up next to me.
"Really? It looks like a normal cliff-face."
"You'll see it soon enough, but for now we should rest. Treecko already made a make-shift camp over there, with the leaves as nests," Celebi said, now flying over to the nests of leaves.
I nodded. "I'll be there in a minute, I want to do something."
"Don't take too long, we'll get up in eight hours to start training."
"I'll only be a minute," I promised, pulling out one of my journals. I started writing down my first days experiences in this new dimension. It wasn't weird that I understood Treecko and Celebi, but I go the feeling that even if I didn't have the ability of a Ditto, I would still be able to understand them just like I was.
I knew that tomorrow--I use that term lightly in this world--I would be decent at simple combat, but that would be different from if I were going to fight another human. Now I would have to learn to take a Pokémon's attack and keep going, not that I have too much trouble with that. I've fought as a Pokémon before, but I never fought a battle as a human whilst versing a Pokémon. In order to keep a low profile already from being what seemed like the only human in this existance, I would need to get along without my ability for now. Maybe I will learn more about this world as Treecko and I prepare to revert this dark, lifeless abomination they call an existance. The only thing is, with what I know of time, this might destroy their world and everyone in it. Maybe even myself. Now, this is the new reason I will be writing these journals. If anything happens... I need Kevin to know what happened to me. If I am now a part of this world because this is where I was taken through the wormhole, I might vanish from history along with Treecko and Celebi. As I learn, I will decide whether this will be worth it, or whether this will be my last mistake, but I have a feeling there is no turning back now.

And here is the prologue! As you will notice, the first part is the Last Minute Note from the previous book. I thought I should give you guys the rest of it before I start working on this story. So, I'm not sure if this will be every other month or just on hold until I figure out my other books, or if I'm going to work part time on three books, or what. But soon, after I finish Blood of The Olympians in the second book series of Percy Jackson, I'm going to reread the entire Warriors series. From Croockedstar's Promise to Bramblestar's Storm. I think that will be the best way to resume my Warriors vibe for EPaSV. I know this isn't Pokémon related, but this is book related so you know. Hope you enjoyed this chapter! (I wrote a 2000 word chapter in less than a day... Whaat?!?!)
Edit: I changed some of the dialogue because I don't want anyone to know Crystal/Pearl to come from another dimension.
Edit 2: I changed Treecko's territory to being his home in Dry Bluff, which, in the past, was Drenched Bluff. Remember it? Also, Treasure Town is Dusknoir's stockade.
Edit 3: I wanted to have Crystal/Pearl have the Pokéflute. Because I can.
