The Winter Ball
After arriving back at Ciel's London town house, I went straight back to my room with the bags of things I got for the Winter ball and the fake Funtom toy ship. I set down the bags onto my desk and started examining the ship. Some of the wood on the outside was slightly chipped showing that it was not of a good quality. And its coloring was slightly faint as well. Of course, it was a fake after all.
Taking a breathe, I yanked as hard as I could and ripped open the roof of the ship. In the process of doing so, some small toy animals fell out of the inside of the ship. However, those were not what I was looking for. I walked closer to the light source trying to get better lighting to the inside of the toy ship.
There was a bluish gleam. Bingo. I reached inside the ship and felt around for the thing that emitted the blue light. My hand then came across a smooth cold metal circle. I fished it out with my index finger. And there it was, the Shard of Hope.
I held up my left hand and let it slid back onto the end of my finger. It somehow fitted perfectly. Perfect. Suddenly I heard a tune faintly, the tune of London Bridge. No, I didn't hear it. It was more like as if it was playing in my head. I looked around, and out the windows, but there was nothing out of the usual. The tune died down after a while. I tidied up the toy animals that were scattered around the floor and put them back into the ship.
When it was an hour before we have to leave for the ball. I laid out the gown I got on top of the Queen size bed. It was an amazing red and white gown that was beautifuly made.
I then got the make up product out and started doing my make up. I powdered my face to cover up blemishes. I then contoured it so to define my features and my cheekbone. I applied eyeliner and mascara and also smokey eye shadow around my eyes. I also filled in my eyebrows. Finally, I got out a bright blood red lip paint and applied it to my lips.
After staring myself in the mirror for a bit, I decided that I would do a high bun to go with the look. I tied my hair up with a red ribbon. Deciding my look was done, I got my gown and slipped it on, carefully not ruining my hair and make up. I also out a white lacy choker around my neck. It has got a small silver key in the middle as decoration. Remembering I heard somewhere that in Victorian era, only people like prostitutes paint their nails, I did not paint mine even though I badly wanted to paint then black just like Sebastian's.
I remembered that I still have the ring of the Hope piece on. I took it off and wanted to hide it. But the gown had no pockets so I hid in it in a the most secure place a girl could hide things- between my boobs. I slipped the ring into my corset.
There was a knock on my door, "Milady? It's Sebastian. Undertaker's carriage to the ball is here."
"Okay, thanks, Sebastian. I'm ready, you may open the door." I did a final check of my look in the full length mirror and walked out of the door. Sebastian was not dressed up, he was in his usual black butler suit.
He looked at me and smiled, "Milady, I do have to say you look gorgeous today."
"Thanks, Sebastian. But why aren't you dressed up? You are going as well, aren't you?"
"No, I was not invited to the ball. I will only be the carriage driver to and from the ball."
"Aw, what a shame. You could have dress up as what... a demon? Yea, that would be cool, and also VERY appropriate."
He chuckled, "You do have a point, milady. But this is a ball hosted by Queen Victoria which has an open invitation to all nobles, and sadly, I am not a noble, therefore I was not invited as a guest."
We went downstairs and there Undertaker was, chatting with Ciel. I silently gasped when I saw him. He was wearing a grey suit with a red cravat. The suit showed his lean figure nicely. His long hat was now replaced by a top hat. He still has his chain of lockets around his waist and his emerald ring on his left index finger.
They both noticed me and Sebastian walking downstairs.
"Good evening, my dear. You look beautiful in this gown." Undertaker said holding out a hand.
I took his hand, "You don't look half bad yourself either."
"Hehe, thank you. Shall we?" Undertaker gestured towards the carriage waiting outside. I nodded and he escorted me into the carriage and got in himself. The carriage started moving in the dark.
"Okay, I know this might look a bit weird but bear with me..." I said to Undertaker. He tilted his head in confusion. I reached into my gown and corset and grabbed the Shard of Hope. I took it out and let it gleamed under the faint moonlight.
When Undertaker saw it he said, "Is this the Hope Piece?"
I only smiled.
"How on earth have you managed to acquire it?" He could not keep the surprise out of his voice.
"I have my way. Don't forget I am not from this world and that I know what's gonna happen around you guys before it actually happens, because of this 'anime' thing in my world."
"Hehe, interesting." He didn't press on about it any further. I put the ring back into my corset.
"By the way, how long is this ride going to be?"
"Not too long. The Earl's townhouse is not too far away from the Crystal Palace."
After a pause, I asked, "Your eyes?"
"What about them?"
"Can't you show them?" I asked hoping that he would say yes.
"I don't think that is a good idea."
"It's going to be fine. If people find your eye color strange, they would probably assume that it is nothing. And I'm sure no one actually know that shinigami exist, let alone that they all have bright green eyes."
He thought about it for a second and nodded.
"May I?" I paused my hand in front of his bangs. He silently nodded again. I could hear my own heart pounded as I slowly moved his bangs away.
His eyes were stunning.
"They are beautiful." I couldn't help but to be amazed at his glowing green eyes.
He smiled ever so slightly.
I leaned back into my side of the chair, but my eyes still captured by his mesmerizing green eyes. He looked out of the window breaking eye contact.
We sat in the ride in silence for the following minutes. When the carriage stopped Undertaker got out first and then helped me out the carriage. I looked up to this massive glass structure towering over me called The Crystal Palace. Although the sky was dark already it was illuminated by a lot of candle lights. It even have electric lightings.
"How modern!" I thought out loud. Undertaker offered his arm and I took it. We approached the door together.
In front of the giant double door entrance of the Crystal Palace, there stood a man who had nice suit on.
As we approached the door he bowed and smiled, "Welcome, my lord and lady. May I ask for your name, and also your title please, my lord?"
"Viscount Adrian Crevan." Undertaker answered.
My heart skipped a beat when I heard his real name.
The man wrote down something hurriedly onto the notepad he was holding. He bowed again and gestured politely for us to go in. We walked in and immediately we were enveloped in the energized atmosphere of the ball. We walked around for a bit. Everything was of the highest standard, silver polished until they were gleaming, food of the best quality from all around the world, the finest and most skilled musician playing the most beautiful dance tune. Even the people there seemed more 'high quality'. They all had on gowns and suit of the finest material.
"Wow, I certainly feel out of place, finding myself amongst the most powerful and prestigious people of England." I said subtly eyeing everyone around us.
"Don't worry, dear, you will be just fine." Undertaker reassured me. I nodded.
A waiter walked pass us with a tray of champagnes, me and Undertaker both picked up a glass. I took a small sip of mine. I was never a drinker, but this champagne tasted surprisingly good to me. It was apparently a Blanc de blancs, it tasted creamy and biscuity, at the same time it was fabulously toasted and rich.
A new dance song had just started being played. Undertaker held out his hand, "May I have the honour to be your first dance partner, lady?"
"Of course, with pleasure." I put down the champagne and took his hand. He led me to the dance floor where a lot of others were already twirling around in. He placed his hand my waist and I place mine on his shoulder.
I whispered, "Remember I am not very good at dancing."
He squeezed my hands in reassurance. Unlike Sebastian's way of practically holding me up and make me do the dance moves, Undertaker gently guided me along the steps of the waltz and I slowly began to understand how to do it. I was quite surprised at how good of a dancer Undertaker was, maybe even better than the all capable Sebastian. The song ended soon and we finished our dance. We walked away from the dance floor just in time to see Ciel arriving with Lizzy. The Marquess Alexis Leon Midford and Marchioness Francis Midford came in after them as well. Also after them was Lizzy's older brother Edward Midford. Lizzy saw me and dragged Ciel towards me. I glanced sideways and saw that Undertaker's bang has once again fallen down and covered his stunning green eyes.
"Good evening! You are Ciel's friend that I met in the Frost Fair right? How nice to see you again! Although I love your dress,I think there should be more color! What do you think of my dress tonight?" Lizzy squealed as usual. She didn't even look different to usaul. She was in a bright pink dress and had a ribbon tied around her waist.
"I think it suits you very much." I said smiling to Lizzy.
Two man approached us. I instantly recognized them. They were both Aristocrats of Evil, Chlaus and Diedrich. OMg, I ship Diedrich with Vincent so much. Chlaus said once he reached us, "Ah, Ciel! Fancy seeing you here! I didn't know you were coming to this ball."
Ciel nodded to Chlaus and Diedrich in acknowledgement, "I wasn't planning on coming, the only reason I'm here is to accompany Lizzy. Anyway, allow me to introduce. Chlaus, Diedrich, here is the Undertaker and her companion of the evening."
The men all bowed slightly from the neck while I curtsied.
"Good evening. How do you do." Chlaus and Diedrich said.
"Good evening. How do you do." Me and Undertaker replied.
"Oh, Ciel, this is a good song! Let's go dance!" Lizzy bounced off dragging the reluctant Ciel to the dance floor.
"Haha, Lizzy, energetic and charming as always." Chlaus said as he watched Ciel attempt to do his 'Special Staggering Waltz' while Elizabeth twirled around in her eye-catching bright pink dress spiritedly.
"Lord Chlaus, lord Diedrich, I presume that you are good friends of the Phantomhives?" I said.
"Just Chlaus would be fine. And called this stiff guy Diedrich, its a good name." Chlaus said cheerfully giving Diedrich a pat on the back.
"Tch." Although Diedrich didn't look to thrilled, he didn't object to it. "I am not really 'friends' with the current Earl. We are just business associates."
"Diedrich, just because his father once made you his fag, doesn't mean you have to dislike all generations of their family." Chlaus said jokingly.
"Pleas can you not bring that up in front of people we just met?" Diedrich looked slightly annoyed.
"Well, Vincent was a good man. He was a fine young man with a good sense of humour." Chlaus said looking a bit distant.
"I am very sorry for the lost of a dear friend to you." I said. I noticed that Chlaus has been glancing at Undertaker for some reason. Oh, wait a minute.....
"You..you are Viscount Adrian Crevan, aren't you?" Chlaus asked Undertaker cautiously.
"Hehe indeed I am. Chlaus, I am honoured that you remember and recognize me." Undertaker said with a smirk.
"Wait, Adrian? I have not seen you in a long time! I would not expect you to come to these kind of social events." Diedrich remarked. Undertaker only smiled.
"You have not been attending the regular meetings of... ahem... since Vincent..passed away." Chlaus said.
"No, but I have been helping the Earl in all sort of ways." Undertaker replied.
"We really shouldn't talk about this here and now, in front of a fine lady." Diedrich said.
"Oh, meetings that you shouldn't talk about... How interesting!" I said. Undertaker glanced at me questioningly. "Could you possibly be talking about what is called... the Aristocrats of Evil?"
This got all their attention. Diedrich was looking somewhere else not really paying much attention, but when he heard the words, his head snapped to my direction. Chlaus' eyes also widened a bit.
"How did you know about this?" Diedrich asked.
"Could it be that Adrian informed you about it?" Chlaus said.
"No, I never have mentioned any thing about the Aristocrats of Evil." Undertaker already knew how I knew though.
"Well," I said, "I am supposed to be the informant of Ciel, the Queen's Watchdog. Of course I have to know quite a lot to be it."
"Does Ciel know that you know about it?" Chlaus asked.
"Mm... I don't think so. I've never mentioned anything about knowing this stuff to him."
"Who is your source?" Diedrich asked.
"I'm sorry but I cannot reveal my source."
Diedrich looked as of he was about to say something else but, before he could, the hall suddenly went silent. We all turned to see what it was. It turned out the the Queen, who was the host of this party, was making a grand entrance. The musicians started playing what sounded like an anthem. A red carpet had been laid out on the floor which previously wasn't there. It led to a throne-like chair at the centre end of the great hall. At either side of the red carpet were dozens of guards separating the crowd from the red carpet.
Queen Victoria stepped into the hall. People bowed and curtsied as she walked pass them. She was in her usual attire of a black gown and a black lacy veil covering her whole face. Of course, to her side accompanying her was her butler in white, Ash. He had the Queen's hand as he directed the Queen to her chair. He was looking straight as he walked along the carpet. But when he walked near to where I was standing, his head turn to my way. He must have sensed me. Ash looked at this direction and our eyes met. He gave me a small nod and smile.I smiled back and I curtsied as the Queen walked pass.
She sat into her throne gracefully and Ash stood next to her. Ash bent down to the Queen and it looked as if she whispered something to Ash.
Ash stood up straight and addressed the crowd, "Her majesty bid me to tell you, 'I am most happy that you all took the time to attend my ball. I have personally selected the highest quality of food from all around the world for you have a taste of. I very much hope that you will enjoy this ball and the hospitality.' " Ash then took a step back indicating that the Queen's address is over.
People started chatting again. Noticeably more people went to try out the rows of exquisite food after hearing what the Queen had to say. Diedrich and Chlaus turned back to face me and Undertaker. But before Diedrich could say anything, he was once again interrupted by someone.
"Excuse my rude interruption, my lords, but may I have the attention of the lady for a moment? Her majesty wishes to speak with her." Ash said with his right hand on his chest.
"Of course." Undertaker said letting go of my arm. I walked towards Ash and followed him as he started walking towards where the Queen was. I turned my head to see that Diedrich and Chlaus was looking at me with looks of confusion.
"So, Ash, long time no see." I said quietly.
"Indeed, my pure one. I told you I would introduce you to Her Majesty, who shares the same dream of purification as me. Here I am, fulfilling my promise." He gave me a warm smile.
We walked through the crowd of nobles and cream of society. They parted way for the Queen's butler and me. We approached the throne of Queen Victoria and Ash stood to the side allowing me to face the Queen fully. He bowed and said, "Your Majesty, here is the pure one I have been telling you about." he bent down to listen to what the Queen wanted to say. He said to me, "Her Majesty wishes to talk with you in a more private place. Please will you follow me?"
Ash took the Queen's hand and guided her as she walked. I followed them up a grand staircase to the second floor of the Crystal Palace. We went into a medium size but nonetheless extravagant looking room with golden pillars and a ceiling full of glorious oil painting.
Ash led the Queen to sit down on a long chair with nice patterned sowed onto the soft padding on it. I sat down on the one opposite her with a oval-shape tea table between us.
The Queen slowly lifted her veil that was covering her face with her hands. It revealed very young woman looked to be in her early twenties. She had long curly grey hair that was neatly tied up into a bun.
"I have a lot about you from Ash." Queen Victoria spoke. She had a youthful and smooth voice.
"I am honoured, your majesty." I replied trying to be as polite as I could.
"As you presumably know, Ash and I share the same dream of Purifying my country. We aim to find peace and unity in pureness of the new world. I am glad that I am meeting a being that even Ash deem pure. He gave me my youthfulness which I am contented for and my body that I can unite with my beloved late husband for eternity, for which I am even more grateful for. I trust Ash with all my heart. If he say so that you a are completely pure being, then I would never doubt him."
After hearing what the Queen had to say, I was left speechless. I was definitely not pure, considering the wrong things i have done and the dark thoughts I have had in my life. The only reason Ash/Angela thought that I was the purest thing ever was because I didn't have a soul in this world for some bizarre reason. I feel partly guilty, like I have been deceiving them. But I quickly suppressed my guilt and put on a smile, "I don't know what to say, your majesty. I feel so very privileged that you hold such a regard for me. I surely don't deserve it."
"You are being modest, another trait of being pure. This just go on to show Ash's judgment is correct. However, there is another reason I summoned you here today other than my wish to see and engage in small talks with pure one."
"What is it, your majesty?"
"Recently Baroness Burnett has passed away with no child to pass her title onto. Her title is in abeyance at the moment until we find the right person to bestow the title upon. I think YOU, would be the perfect person to be granted this title, as a pure an dignified one."
What. The. Actual. Hell. Did she say she's gonna make me a noble!? As if meeting and talking the Queen of England wasn't crazy enough.
"I..I don't think I will be able to uphold such a big responsibility..."
"Oh, child, I am sure you will be able to become a perfect baroness. After all it is merely a title. So don't worry, there is nothing to be afraid about."
"I can't thank you enough, your majesty. I am truly honored that you would select someone like me to take up a noble title." I was still in slight shock.
A gentle smile surfaced on Queen Victoria's youthful face, "Ash will contact you later with the details. I believe that you are working with my boy Ciel and is currently residing in the Phantomhive manor, is that correct?"
"Yes, it is, your majesty. Well, I helped out a bit in the Jack the Ripper case and the case of Houndsworth."
"Do you know about Ciel's alias, as my Watchdog?"
"Yes, I do."
"He is the head of a group called the Aristocrats of Evil. They work under me to eliminate any threat from the Underworld of England that might affect the respectable society. As you have already worked with him on some of the Watchdog cases before, I trust that you have the ability to assist my boy to continue in the field. What do you think?"
"W-what are you saying, your majesty?
"I am requesting that you join them to assist Ciel once you have taken up you new title as a baroness. Baroness Burnett used to be a part of the Aristocrats of Evil as well. I think that it is a perfect role for you to join them."
I was most definitely not expecting that. "I thank you, your majesty for placing you trust in me to assist your Watchdog. I will most certainly not fail you."
"I have faith in you." She smiled. "However, there is one thing I want you to promise me before I can trust you completely."
"Anything, your majesty."
"Promise me that you will keep an eye on Ciel. If there is any sign indicating that he might betray me, contact me, or Ash at once. Here," She handed a stamp to Ash which he passed it on to me, "this is the royal stamp. If you stamp this on the seal of the latter it would be delivered by the fastest horseman in the country to Buckingham Palace. Put it to good use when necessary."
"Certainly, your majesty." i said with a slight bow. I thought I saw Ash smirking out of the corner of my eye
"Will you tell me a bit about yourself; about how you came to work with my trusted Earl Phantomhive. And where you come from, just general things about you."
Oh, sugar. What do I tell her? "Umm..Its a long story. I believe that you know Ash is an angel, and he has the ability to detect a human's soul, right?"
"Yes, continue."
"Well, has Ash told you that he has detected that I have... nothing in me. Meaning that there is a possibility that I am soulless?"
She nodded, "Go on."
"Well you see, I think the reason behind that is because I am not from this world."
I didn't say anything for a few seconds to let them have the time for the information to sink in. The Queen and Ash both had a surprised expression on their face.
Queen Victoria was the first one to speak up, "Not from his world? You don't mean that you are some being like Ash?"
"No, no, I am nothing that great. I am just a person from another world, who somehow woke up one day in this whole new world to me. Earl Phantomhive happened to have found me, wondering what to do in this strange world. And this is how I started working for him." Yea, I know I went to Undertaker's first but, I wasn't quite sure whether mentioning him in front of the Queen was such a good idea.
"This is ... fascinating." Queen Victoria said with awe, "I did not realize that there is another world beside this one I live in. What is your world like?"
"My world is actually quite similar to this one. But in my world there are a lot more advance technologies and also people's dressing style is very different. For example, no woman in my world would wear a corset, so it was quite uncomfortable and unusual for me when I had to start wearing one for the first time in my life.
"Interesting. Yet both our worlds speak English and you seem to be able to understand the way of life and speech in this world." Queen Victoria said calmly.
Wow, she is taking this a lot better than I expected she would. She is still calm and collected. She is even able to deduct something of my world. She must be a great leader, just corrupted by the fallen angel Ash.
Suddenly, Queen Victoria started having a coughing fit. Ash immediately went to her and sooth her until she stopped coughing, "Your majesty! Are you alright?"
"Ahem, yes. It is just that my health is still not at best and I am a little tired."
"My Queen, I think you need to rest. You state of health is still quite fragile so please don't push yourself too hard."
"Yes, Ash you are right. I shall retire back to Buckingham Palace and call it a day."
Ash helped the Queen up and I stood up with them. The Queen then put back on her black veil which covered her youthful face once more.
"Lady, her majesty is in need of rest and I apologize for the sudden end of the conversation. I am sure the Queen has enjoyed it thoroughly." Ash helped the Queen out of the room and back downstairs as I trailed behind them. The red carpet was gone and the great hall was in a normal ballroom atmosphere with music and chatter.
The Queen, Ash, and I descended into the hall. As the guards saw the Queen they hurried to her side and separated the crowd in front of us so that the Queen could get through. People once again stared at us, well, mainly the Queen. Ash led her straight to the door as I walked slightly behind them. I accompanied them until they reached their luxurious-looking carriage and Ash helped Queen Victoria up into the carriage. Before he got on himself he turned around and said to me, "It was a joy seeing you again,my pure one. The information about your to be baroness title shall arrive in the Phantomhive manor shortly. I shall see to that myself. Then, until next time." Ash bent down and kissed the back of my hand. I chuckled slightly at his gentlemanly manners. He got into the carriage with Queen Victoria. Then the driver of the carriage smacked the horse and the carriage took off. I saw them off before I went back in the Crystal Palace.
I saw Undertaker still talking with Diedrich and Chlaus, but this time, Ciel was there as well. LIzzy was no where to be seen, she has probably gone to be with her parents and brother. I rejoined them and stood next to Undertaker.
Ciel glanced up, "May I just ask, what was that? Diedrich and Chlaus has filled me in. Why did her majesty especially requested to meet with you?"
"I..er actually met the Queen's butler, Ash.. before I started working with you, Ciel. He must have told Queen Victoria about me." Wow, my whole life in this world is literately built on lies.
"Was it when you worked at Undertaker's?"
"Yes, remember, Undertaker? We went to the big market, the Queen and her butler happened to be there and.. I walked into Ash by accident..and we started chatting." I subtlety glanced at Undertaker hoping that he would get the hint.
"Yes...? Oh I of course remember that incident." I exhaled the breathe I didn't know I have been holding after hearing Undertaker say that.
"Anyway, how did you know about us Aristocrats of Evil?" Ciel asked accusingly
"Ash told me about it. In fact... Queen Victoria has just asked me to become part of the Aristocrats of Evil in order to assist Ciel in his Watchdog cases."
All the men's eyes went wide. The news that I just broke on them had stirred up bewilderment.
"I don't mean to offend, lady. But you do not even have a noble title. How would you go about being an ARISTOCRAT?" Diedrich said, still with consternation lingering in his voice.
"I know this might seem sudden, but the Queen has said that she would bestow on me the title of Baroness which is vacant at the moment after... Madam Red passed away."
Ciel looked liked he has just been shocked. He opened his mouth but nothing came out. Diedrich was shaking his head in disbelief. Chlaus only sighed and them laughed a little, "Young lady, you sure are full of surprises! Well, having to keep the Underworld of England under control is not easy, so I wish you a safe journey."
"Thank you, Chlaus. We'll be working together in the future so I hope we get along."
"C-I-E-L!" Oh, no, the annoying scream of Lizzy. Lizzy walked really quickly towards us and behind her, were the Marquess and Marchioness of Midford.
Marquess Midford approached Ciel and said, "My wife and I have just been called to attend to an urgent matter back at the Midford manor. However Lizzy wishes to stay a while longer at the ball. Please look after her while are gone and afterward deliver her safely back to the Midford manor, if that is alright with you."
"Of course, Marquess Midford." Ciel said nodding.
"I thank you, Earl Phantomhive. Then, I will trust my daughter to your care." The Marquess and Marchioness Midford then departed from the ball. Lizzy dragged Ciel off to somewhere again.
Suddenly, a shock of pain shot through my head. I bit my lips so that I did cry out.
"What's wrong, my dear?" Undertaker asked concernedly.
"It'a nothing really. It's just that I have a bit of a headache. Must have been the alcohol."
"You should rest. No more champagne for you." Undertaker said quietly to me. And then he turned to Chlaus and Diedrich, "I'm sorry, we will be taking our leave as the lady here is feeling rather unwell. Now if you would kindly excuse us."
We then walked out of the Crystal palace as one of the doorman held the door open for us. We walked to where our carriage was parked and got into it. Undertaker knocked on the front wall of the carriage signalling the driver to started driving.
"Are you feeling any better, dear?
"Yes, the headache has subsided. It was probably just that the evening was too eventful for me. I went from being a random nameless girl to a Baroness and Aristocrat of Evil appointed by the Queen in one night."
He laughed heartily, "I agree, that was quite an eventful night for you. Who would have expected that."
I reached into my corset and fished out the Hope Piece. I slipped it onto my left index finger, "Don't come after me. Just tell Ciel that I am missing. But DO NOT tell him about the hope piece, please?"
"What? Why are you saying all these?" Undertaker asked in confusion.
The carriage stopped to wait for the carriage in front to move. It was stopped right in front of an alley way.
Now, the voice said.
It has chosen you as its new master, the voice said.
Come to me, the voice said.
Follow the music, the voice said.
London Bridge is falling down, falling down falling down. London Bridge is falling down, my fair lady.
London Bridge is falling down, falling down, falling down. London Bridge is falling down, my fair lady.
London Bridge is falling down falling down, falling down. London Bridge is falling down, my fair lady.
Before I realized it, I was not in the carriage anymore. In front of me was an old looking shop with dolls and other knick-knacks displayed behind the big window pane. I looked up to the signboard. It was called: The Angel's Wing Antiques.
-------------------------------------------------------
Me: Ah, I'm so tired. I spent like eight hours writing this long chapter.
Queen Victoria: Are you alright?
Me: Nope, I am tired as f.
Queen: Ash, heal her now.
Ash: yes, you majesty. *uses angel healing power*
Me: *Instantly feels energetic* Wow I didn't know angel's healing power can even be used for soothing fatigue! Thanks!
Ash: no problem, my lady.
Me: It would be an honor if you would find the lesson of the chapter, Queen Victoria.
Queen: Of course. "The British noble peerage ranks go like this(form highest power to lowest): Duke/Duchess ---> Marquess/Marchioness ---> Earl/Countess ---> Viscount/Viscountess ---> Baron/Baroness (---> Baronet/Baronetess)."
Me: Thank you so much! Now, Ash, will you once again say the inspring quote please.
Ash: "Don't give up! There is no shame in falling down! True shame is to not stand up again!"-- Shintaro Midorima, Kuroko no Basket.
Me: Thank you very much. Now reader-tan, if you liked this chapter please vote and leave a comment! Once again thank you for reading and I will see you next time with an exciting chapter!
