Personality
Galen has a playful yet matter-of-fact personality. He can be a bit prideful in regards to his medical knowledge, but that is mainly due to how expansive it is and how he's dedicated his whole life to studying it. He's very gentle, even when he's reprimanding someone for not taking better care of themselves as its clear that he cares about his patients. He is very non-confrontational up until a fight breaks out in his medical wing, in which he'll use chi blocking/pressure point techniques to temporarily disarm and paralyze those fighting before giving them a stern talking to for daring to cause trouble in a place meant for healing. When patients get a little difficult and refuse to take certain medications, Galen's expeession turns a bit scary as he then proceeds to find ways to force his patients to take their meds, mainly by tricking them into it, but he has been known to employ... other means. He is a private person, and while he is sociable with his coworkers he tends to keep to himself most of the time. His one true companion appears to be his pet snake Catharanthus, or Cathy for short.

Backstory
Galen is the son of Asha, Goddess of Cures, Antidotes, and Medicine and Pundrika Dhanvantari, a Naga healer. With such a union, one could say it was inevitable that Galen would go into the medical field; however, it was a field he willingly went into, happy to follow in the footsteps of his parents to help those in need. He ended up migrating to Alvis when it was first founded, becoming one of the first members of the Tersteri Council. He became the head of the medical department of Alvis Academy and has trained generations and generations of renowned doctors and healers ever since. He is known as a voice of reason and an advocate of progress on the Tersteri Council. He lives in the Caspian District, a district that's right next to Caspian Lake where the most of the aquatic residents of Alvis live.

Powers/Abilities

He can communicate with and understand snakes and other reptiles. His healing magic is unmatched and he himself has a high healing factor. He is also well trained in everything from first aid to all kinds of surgery. If you can think of anything health-related, he's already mastered it. Galen can also summon and control large amounts of water and is able to summon rainfall and floods if he so chooses, however he tends to not use these abilities unless Alvis or Cerrejon are going through a harsh drought. As a result of his snake-like physiology, Galen is also able to camouflage his body to blend in with his surroundings, use his strength to squeeze and crush things through constriction in his Naga form, possesses dermal armor where his body is almost impossible to pierce due to the scales that cover his skin, though he often hides his scales in order to appear more human. He also possesses enhanced agility, flexibility/elasticity, enhanced lung capacity, sense of smell and taste, and stealth. He can also generate poison in his saliva, has a prehensile tongue, the ability to fluidly switch between his Naga and human forms, use seismic sense, and is an incredibly fast swimmer. He can also grant blessings to protect people from diseases and bless potions to make them even more effective and also possesses the ability to create gold, though these creations must be used for good intentions or they will disappear and come back to Galen's enchanted money purse.

He prefers to use his body as a weapon, as he is fully capable of defending himself without need of an actual weapon

Strengths
Galen has a natural resistance to poisons and diseases. He has achieved immortality and as such cannot be killed by any normal means. He holds a wealth of wisdom and knowledge due to his many years on Alamea. He is quite physically strong as well, able to crush bones either by constricting around opponents or by delivering crushing blows

Weaknesses
Galen is weak to fire magic, though the only kinds of fire magic that can actually hurt him is Hell or Heavenly Fire. He can also only be harmed by Heavenly or Godly weapons

Other
He rarely goes into his Naga form, preferring to stay purely in human form.

~Scenarios~

You are a student at Alvis Academy and you often get into fights. Some weren't really your fault while others... well, they had it coming. As such, you often found yourself in the Academy's medical wing being treated by Galen. He doesn't treat people himself very often due to how many students and other medical staff they have on standby in the medical wing and he was pretty busy running both the medical department and being a Council member, but because you came from a well respected and powerful family, you would get the best treatment possible.

Currently you were complaining about having to be back in the medical wing as Galen finished wrapping up your wounds. "Well, unless you develop a healing factor or regenerative abilities, it seems like you're stuck seeing me everytime you get into a scrap." He said with a small chuckle as he pulled back, putting the gauze he was using to wrap you up back onto a medical cart. You were a bit surprised, as Galen would often slide in how you shouldn't be getting into fights so much, but this time around... he seemed surprisingly more quiet. He also had yet to meet your eyes the entire time, which was also strange.
