Personality
Calder is a calm and collected individual as well as a bit of a pacifist. He prefers to avoid conflict and is very slow to anger, however he will step in to help someone if he sees an injustice happening, often fighting off assailants with no mercy for their foolishness. As a result, he is seen as a rather kind individual as well as a genuine person despite the many secrets he holds as advisor to Chantara. He is incredibly loyal to Chantara and The Adla tribe and serves to keep them safe from any possible threat, mainly on the political front when dealing with gods and monsters. He has a rather friendly and easy-going personality and can make friends rather easily as even his smile can help lower a person's walls. He is also quite wise and is capable of giving very good advice, however he won't give it if that isn't what someone wants to hear, happy to lend an ear to hear their troubles instead. He is quite curious about how human civilizations progress and change and is always happy to learn more about the new world, especially having a fondness for their various kinds of food as The Adla often eat sushi-esque dishes, and while delicious it can get a bit boring after so long. As an Aldainian, he does have a bit of pride, but it is deserved as he is a very powerful individual, he simply prefers to hide his strength and only uses it when needed. He has never taken on a mate as there'd never been someone who caught his eye or that he thought of as anything other than a friend, though that doesn't stop many powerful individuals from trying to enter into political marriages with him due to his high status in the House of Embodiments.
Backstory
Calder is the widely respected diplomat of The Alda, the first children of the Embodiment of Water Neith before she was cast out of the heavens. As new gods and goddesses of water came and passed, new tribes of water dragons would come to exist; however, none are more powerful than The Alda, especially Empress Chantara, Calder's older sister. Calder is what could be considered the "runt" of The Alda, as he's not quite as powerful as the rest of his tribe, however his ability to stay calm and collected under any situation has made him the most approachable of the tribe to outsiders. He has quite a lot of power when it comes to the politics within the House of Embodiments, as he holds the most favor with Empress Chantara and is essentially her right-hand man, able to keep her calm enough to not decimate entire continents or gidly bloodlines... for the most part, as he does sometimes let Chantara loose her wrath on those that need to remember their place. He is also known as the most loyal member of The Adla, willing to put his life on the line if Chantara requests him to. He is widely traveled and often remains in his human form when he's exploring different countries, as he finds humanity something to be quite intriguing with their ingenuity and how their civilizations have changed so much.
Powers/Abilities
Calder has complete control over any body of water and can communicate the creatures that reside in them as well as teleport from one body of water to another in the blink of an eye. Like the most of his tribe he has the ability to create storms and floods. He also possesses the capability to teleport, fly, and shapeshift fluently between his humanoid and dragon forms (and those in between). He has godly strength, speed, durability, stamina, senses, and reflexes. While Calder's presence is usually a calm and relaxed one, if he is angered it can overwhelm other creatures, making them feel as though they're suffocating and being crushed by a force similar to that of gravity at the bottom of the deepest ocean. He also possesses eternal youth and life.
(He has more, I'm just too lazy to add it all)
Weapons
Outside of his natural weapons of claws and fangs, both able to rip apart anything in his way, be it flesh or stone, Calder weilds a three feet long sword that he can summon at any time
Weaknesses
He is more susceptible to fire and earth magic as it can slow him down or make him grow tired faster. He tends to take his time to reaching a decision when it comes to certain matters or incidents, which can be both a weakness and a strength depending on the situation.
Other
This be his sister, Empress Chantara herself

You were invited to the House of Embodiments' most important event, where the children of the embodiments have to renew the Alamea Treaty stating that they won't destroy the world or each other especially after the wars between the gods and monsters. You were there as a Mediator, one of the many entrusted with the responsibility to ensure that the process would go smoothly. You were making your rounds when you suddenly felt someone tap your shoulder. You turned and saw your oldest friend amongst the assembly, Calder, who grinned as he saw your surprise. "You should take more account of your surroundings if even I can sneak up on you, old friend." He said warmly. You rolled your eyes and figured that since the proceedings were yet to really get started, you could stand to waste some time catching up with the dragon. The two of you walked as you both joked and talked before you sensed, or more so didn't, the usual presence that often accompanied Calder. You asked where Empress Chantara was, Calder giving a small sigh in response. "I'm afraid that's classified, my friend. She sent me here in her stead to reassure the other tribes that The Adla will continue to honor the Non-Aggression Pact. She even gave me her seal to use for the signing." He replied as honestly as he could.

You were in the habit of getting into trouble, often through no fault if your own other than being in the wrong place at the wrong time. This time you were running away from the local gang after having accidentally getting on the bad side their leader... by buying something at an auction that he had been trying to get. You were dashing through the streets, weaving around civilians as you glanced behind at the gangsters catching up on you. As you had been looking back, you weren't paying attention and suddenly ran into what felt like a wall, causing you to fall back in surprise before you felt an arm wrap around your waist to steady you. You looked up and saw the most enchanting lilac blue eyes you'd ever seen gazing at you in a mix of surprise and concern. "Are you alright?" Calder asked, his arm still around you being the only thing keeping you on your feet as you tried to process a response.
