Ok, the pic is something I got off the internet and not at all what actually happened.

We were at a friends house, milking their cows while they were in Texas. They have a pit in the floor to reach up to put sucker-things on the cow udders, and they have metal steps bolted in, a set on one side and a set on the other.

It was storming - hard - and we were finishing up, when suddenly a HUGE gust of wing almost up-rooted a tree. Mom and I felt it through a door. A door that didn't have cracks, mind you. Dad told us to get under the metal steps, and that he Mom would get under the other set.

Well, HE WOULDN'T"T COME!!

I actually started sobbing. But - you won't know what I'm talking about if you've never been in a near-death moment or a near-tornado moment -  I felt extremely happy at the same time. I tried to get the dog in the pit, but of coarse, it refused. So... I picked it up. It was heave. It's sort of a medium-size dog.

Thankfully, a tornado didn't touch down, but now I have phobia of storms. ESPECIALLY if there's a tornado warning/watch included.
