Br/N was walking around the little pod he shared with Belle listening to Lucks berate Belle, once he was off the phone he growled and groaned.

"I'd like to see him try and do your work, oh wait he's not a meta runner." He muttered loud enough for her to hear and calmed down a lot when he heard her giggle at his statement bringing a smile to his face.

"Lucks luck isn't going to last, soon you'll be free to be your own runner." He said coming up behind her and massaging her shoulders. She softly moaned in approval.

Favorite way to get the stress out?" She asked looking at him. He sighed .

"Bubble gum princess wanted to get as much dirt on you as possible so I tracked your finical records." He admitted.

"Only my financials?" She asked shocked leaning her head back.

"Only one I was comfortable with tracking. I am a lawyer in training." He said blushing getting a nice look down her window.

"Like what you see?" She teased noticing where his eyes traveled. He blushed harder before she sighed. "I have to get back to work... thanks for calming me down and making my night." she said as he sat beside her. she then pulled him in for a kiss then winked when she pulled away.

"Maybe we can do something after if things don't go to hell in a hand basket." he asked absentmindedly looking at his girl. she slumped forward.

"Great... now it might." she muttered as she started to play again. he looked apologetic. "Its not your fault, its just how i view my luck." she said gently taking and squeezing his hand. he seemed to look better.

-BACK IN THE GAME-

Tari and Y/N were the only ones left after facing off against Belle and both of you were trapped under rubble. Belle went over to Tari to begin to grill her with questions about Lucinia.

"She wont know belle, but i may know something, but its not gonna be something i can tell you here. Mr. Brownnose, your boss, is listening." you strain out. Belle freed the both of you and focused on you.

"Then tell me what you can." She said flatly but not agitated.

"I think shes alive, i just cant be certain." you say as Tari starts the glitch.

"Where is she if she is?" she asked with dark tones.

"My theory is, I think she just jumped off the cliff." you say looking behind her. belle balks and turns around and looks over the cliff then back at you as you walked over hands up.

"This was supposed to be going a different way... what did you do?" she asked a bit scared.

"Nothing more than being myself." you say looking over. "but i think me and my brother have done something... by just being in all your lives." you muse.

-Back with Belle-

She looks at Br/N and gently holds her head. He looks concerned and reaches out.

"Don't touch me right now." she said. "i'm trying to remember what was supposed to happen." she finished feeling scared.

"Why? Aren't you happier now?" he asked looking at her. she let go of her head and looked up at him thinking it over.

"I-I am. the other version of me probably was sad and angry... I-I, thank you." she sputtered out before kissing him again as everything crashed. he kissed back and helped her out of the arena by giving her his coat.

-Back with you and tari-

you both were floating in the void like earlier face to face now with the figure.

"Hello both of you." she said strained and full static.

"Who are you?" Tari asked.

"This is Lucinia." you say looking at the figure before you. Lucinia moves to you and pulls you into a kiss.

"Thank you for trying to help me." she said as you both were thrown out and new memories flooded through your head as you took in the surroundings.

The good news: you were alive and all together as a team.

the bad news: Lucks had you all in the middle of the floor holding Masa hostage. Which he then pointed the gun at you.

"You." he said voice dripping with venom. "You've thrown a wrench into all of my best laid plans, and for what? Money? Fame?" he asked looking at you maliciously putting the barrel to your forehead after making Theo disappear.

"Because, I know there's not a damn thing you can do about it without ruining the reputation of your company Lucks." you say pushing into the barrel. Lucks falters a bit but gets the resolve to blow Masas arm off when he attacks.

Trai tugs at your arm and when you look back she kissed you full of her feelings. She then pushes you gently back and lets herself be captured and smiles bravely with tears in her eyes as she leaves with them. "Don't worry guys, I'll be fine." she says looking at you as you reach out a bit.
