My parents are gone...His mother is gone...

Ob wir zum Sterben bereit sind oder nicht, der Tag kommt sicher

Murdered mercilessly, by two different things, yet in the same, cruel world...

Ist das der Engel, der vom dämmernden Himmel hinunter flog?  

(Is that the angel who flew down from the twilight sky?)

Is it a sign of some sort? A sign of peace that they were sacrificed for a greater good?

Ist das der Teufel, der aus der Felsenspalte heraus kroch?  

(Is that the devil who crawled out of the crevice?)

Or were they just more victims? Taken away to the skies that lie above?

Tränen, Ärger, Mitleid, Grausamkeit, 

(Tears, anger, compassion, cruelty.)

There are no more tears left to cry. There's no more compassion left in the world.

(Frieden, Chaos, Glaube, Verrat) 

(Peace, chaos, faith, betrayal)

Chaos erupts. We are betrayed by those we put our faith into.

Wir werden gegen unser Schicksal ankämpfen  

(We will fight against our faith)

And so, we fight. We fight for everything. For love. For peace. For glory. For family.

Wir dürfen uns nicht in unser Schicksal ergebe  

(We must not give in to our fate)

I'm a bird in a cage. We all are.

Trapped behind the walls, with no space...

Waiting, begging for a better life...

And that's why I fight...

To form a peaceful life for all of us. For me. For Eren...
