I feel a hand on my shoulder and look up. I see Jason grinning at me and I grin back and ask, "What's for lunch today Mr.Announcer."

"Meatball sub," he says in the same voice he uses for the morning announcements.

"Yes!!" I nearly shout with joy. I sprint to the back of the lunch line, so I can get my favorite lunch the school serves. As I get back to my seat, I start to scarf down the sub in record time.

"I don't understand how you can eat this crap." Jason sighs.

"It's not that bad," I reply. "The sauce could definitely ==use some spices, but it's still better than most of what the school serves."

"Anyways, what were you thinking about back there," he asks. "It seemed pretty serious."

"It was nothing, just thinking."  I respond. After that the chat turns to what we think of our teachers. 20 minutes later, the bell rings signaling the end of lunch and the end of my chat with Jason. I head to English and greet my teacher, Ms.Walker. After that we have a discussion about what song to listen to during the next test.

I make my way through school and I manage to pay enough attention that I remember what happened in my classes. After school, I go home and read the assigned chapter of Fahrenheit 451. When my mom comes home she yells, "Get up off your ass and do something productive!"

"I was reading for school," I reply timidly. " I have to read a chapter of this book everyday."

After that she quiets down and lets me read my book in peace. When I finish I get up, put my book away, and start doing my chores. I clean the bathroom first. Then I wash my hands and take out my dogs, Midnight, AKA Minnie, and Sophia, AKA Sophie. Next I take out the trash and recycling. And finally I clean my room, by the time this is done dinner is ready and I head up to eat. After that I shower, read, and go to bed.
