A Very "Handy" Problem
Back in the real world, Indra the Queen was handling all the matters and addressed the council of ministers. She did her duties but couldn't hide how much she worried about her husband gone to a mysterious land. Time seemed to move really slow in the ne world. Because when it was announced that the company of king was returning what seemed one day to the soldiers who had returned was about one month in the real world.
"What happened?" asked the queen to her squire.
"My Queen, it seems something has ..s-stopped our king to return." said the squire very worriedly.
"What do you mean 'has stopped'?" screamed the queen, as she stood up and marched to the well.
"My Queen!" said the commander of squadron and every soldier got to his feet.
"What happened?" asked the breathless queen with her eyes looking everywhere in search oh her husband. "Where is your king?" she asked again almost tearing.
"My Queen... I .. that place is horrible we lost one soldier to a mysterious tree demon. The king was supposed to climb up right after us but something must've stopped him." said the commander with his held down.
"Tell me you've sent someone down their looking for what happened?" asked queen in a very serious tone.
No answer came.
"Alright, if we have cowards in our army, I'll go down myself." said the queen as she hurried over to jump inside the well.
"NO! My queen" screamed the commander as he tried to stop the queen.
"That place is foul, I can't allow you to go down there. This place needs a leader."
"What are you going to do then? just sit here hoping your king comes back." screamed the queen.
"I'll go with you." said Shambhu who was standing behind the soldiers.
"My father is also down there."
"NO! If anyone must go, it should be us." said the commander as he looked upon his squadron soldiers, who did not at all wanted to go back to that nightmare.
Down in were trapped The King, Ganesh (the purohit) and five soldiers. They stood looking for a way to go but they were completely lost. Rocks everywhere and the never ending night seemed to have limited their view. The soldier were awaiting order from the king and Ganesh was still trying to figure out what to make of this place.
"AAAAARGHHH!!!" screamed the king in scorching pain as he dropped is sword and fell down to his knees grabbing to his poisoned left hand.
Everyone ran to the kings aid. Ganesh took out another potion from his bag and spilled it on kings hand. They removed armour from his arm. The poison was spreading up and had seemed to reach his elbow. The veins had turned black and skin was secreting a green slime.
"I think we'll have to amputate your arm, my king." said a soldier.
"NO!" screamed the king as he writhled more in pain.
"We don't have enough time or resources the poison is spreading faster." said Ganesh as he nodded towards a soldier ordering him. He himself grabbed the arm tightly trying to stop it from moving.
Other soldiers grabbed onto king, The king looked away and put a cloth in his mouth to prevent screaming. With one swift oh his sword the soldier had amputated the kings arm right above his elbow. Ganesh immediately tied Subheshu's bicep to stop the blood lost and wrapped a clean cloth on the wound.
However, the amputated arm of the king turned into slime and seemed to be absorbed by the ground. And from the exact same spot popped a rose.
"OMG!! We need to move from here fast." said Ganesh in a trembling voice.
The soldiers helped king back to his feet and they started moving far from that place. Not long before they had came a cross a cave they decided to take shelter there until Subheshu had regained his full consciousness.
"You know there is probably another deadly creature in there." said a soldier.
"Yeah, lets hope its not hungry at the moment." answered Ganesh.
They all silently took shelter just at the enterance of the cave.
"Should we light fire?" asked a soldier visibly shivering from cold.
"yeah I think its safe if we don't build a really big one." another soldier.
They grabbed the wood from a fallen tree nearby. Ganesh sat next to Subhehu taking a look at his wounds while he was fast asleep.
"Its good that he's resting." said Ganesh.
"You should rest to sir. It's probably a big step from council seat to the survival in wild." said a soldier and everyone smiled.
"Boy I've been to my share of adventure in my day." answered Ganesh as he smiled.
"I've right next to our King in the great battle of 'Sarahu', but this doesn't feel like a fair battle to me." said Ganesh as he looked towards the dark end of cave.
The soldiers went back to lighting the fire.
"I wouldn't do that, if I were you." a voice came from inside the cave.
"what was that?" asked Ganesh as everyone panicked to their feet.
"First of all its very impolite to enter my residence without my permission and secondly please don't light the fire if you wish to live. For what would be approximately an hour." said the voice.
"Is that a threat." said Subheshu as he barely stood back to his feet.
"Oh no! don't make threats when you are one limb short and cant even stand. Besides I'm the most feared monster here and I don't bother with puny creatures like you." said the voice.
They didn't wanted to trust it but the voice was awfully convincing and calm.
"If you're a friend then why hide in dark show yourself." said Subheshu.
"ohh.. I'm no friend, I am your end. HAHAHAHAHA" said the voice as a mysterious creature seemed to come out of the shadows, Everyone grabbed on to their swords hoping to see another horrific creature. They waited. Slowly another monster came out of the shadows. The soldiers stood there with their jaws dropped.
"Are you seeing what I'm seeing?" asked a soldier who looked like he has seen a ghost.
"That.. That is .. a very big ..hand?" said another confused soldier.
"Prepare to die." said the mighty hand.
"BUWAHAHAHAHAH. I'm sorry mate, we've seen some really fucked up creatures you ain't one. You barely come to my waist." said a soldier who was pointing at the hand and laughing.
"You are hideous, no wonder you live in a cave." said another soldier.
"hey, cmon guys give the little hand a chance probably all the other monsters pick on him already. It's alright little buddy we wont hurt you come on out now." said another soldier as they all laughed.
"WHAT! You should be terrified, I'm no little buddy, I'll kill you all." screamed the hand.
"What are you going to do, give us the finger? ohh i'm so scared."
"SILENCE! This is no place for jokes." ordered the king.
"AHH! Finally a smart one but its too late now. You'll feel my wrath now." said the hand as one of the soldiers barely controlled his laughter.
"This hand doesn't seem like other monsters, it oozes evil." said Ganesh.
"Yes i feel it too. We need to get out of here quick." said king as they all turned around to get out of the cave only to find the hand blocking there way. They looked back inside and there were two hands. Soon another hand came out and one by one they were surrounded by nearly 50 hands.
"you see I'm no ordinary hand, I sir am the hand of Satan himself. and you should not have made fun of me." said the hand as its nail started to grow pointy and so did of all the other hands.
"we need to find a way out." said a soldier and they all tried to push through the hands but one hand stabbed the soldier in his heart with its nail.
"Please we never meant to disrespect you. We can provide you with anything you want." said Ganesh.
"ohh! preacher of God making a deal with deal? lost your faith in the almighty that quick? That's just pathetic. After that begging I'll enjoy killing you even more actually." said the hand.
All the other hands started to pile around the king and his company as they stabbed one another one took its place stabbing the knees of another soldier and crushing his head between index finger and thumb. The blood sprayed on everyone.
"Its your fault, you ran after it to avenge your stupid son." said the soldier who was laughing at the hand, he stabbed Subheshu in his back and threw him over the hands.
"WOW!!! very evil but i'm afraid too late." the hands piled on them stabbing with nails gauging there eyes crushing there bones and skulls.
Their screams slowly faded away.
