We stopped by a wooden building that looked sort of run down, but was still sturdy enough to survive the weather and titan mobs that haunted this world. The cold winter air was gone on this day, leaving a warm sensation on my half exposed skin. It was like the climate was in favor of Eren's rescue.

Jean was courteous enough to rise out of his perch on a box and hopped down to pull the latch over, granting us all an exit. Grabbing load-fulls of crates, we hopped down as well.

Jean pulled a big sack over his shoulder and looked down at Sasha from the cart. "Your friends potatoes are in there."

The brunette looked up with a frown gracing her face, hair caressing her face with the warm wind brushing over her. "What are you referring to, Iv'e forgotten all about it already."

Jean hopped down, boots sinking into the grass. "Don't worry, there are people other than you that could forget about this."

Armin walked alongside me casually as we made our way towards the building. "Anyway, it seems prices are rising rapidly, we would starve if we were to lose these provisions." He stated nonchalantly.

I frowned slightly at that. I didn't forget that these people had a food problem constantly around here. We never did in Konoha, and even more so when we opened up trade with Suna after the alliance treaty was signed. We gave them water and fruit, they gave us exotic plants for harvest and dried goods to eat that Tenten had become particularly fond of.

"Don't you practice agriculture here? The weather doesn't signal a drought..." I muttered in curiosity.

Jean sighed deeply. " we do, its just that we didn't usually get trampled by titans on a regular basis in the past, we had an abundance of food back then, no one was hungry, the days were lazy, and the military police spent them drinking beer and playing games...it was after the first breach that everything went to hell, the first and second wall fell, so all the survivors had to seek shelter in wall Sina."

He fell silent for a while, as if remembering the pain the past brought. "Since crops were destroyed in both front walls along with pretty much everything, we couldn't retrieve any, it became crowded in wall Sina, food was scarce so not everyone could be fed there was just too many people, it became chaos."

I blinked, trying to picture it in my mind's eye. It was a lot to bear, and it made me think about how Levi lived in his own past life. Was he starving? The thought made my heart churn.

"So...but it doesn't look that crowded now...what happened?" I asked, eyes downcast in sorrow for the poor who lived without eating in those dark days.

Armin answered my question. "They had to send men among the survivors to take back wall Rose, my grandpa was among them...they weren't experienced of course so they got eaten, their deaths made it easier for the rest of us to eat though...maybe that was the kings plan all along."

I had to flinch at that. It was so...I had no idea how hard it was for them. It made Konoha look like a paradise. "I'm sorry..." was all that I could mutter.

Jean gave me a sideways glance and a smile. "Don't be, the past is the past, and if it wasn't for their sacrifice we wouldn't be here today, we will defeat the titans, and kill those bastards that destroyed the walls in the first place, we owe them that much."

I knew he was talking about Reiner and Bertholdt, so I nodded. I would avenge them too, but before I did I had to know for what kind of reason would they do something so cruel. But I was strongly conflicted...my village needed me in the war. I was so torn apart by everything...I just wanted to escape to a different place free of any responsibilities and drama to get time to think.

"By the way Sasha, if you eat with your fingers, corporal Levi is sure to fix that by easily eating you." Jean said teasingly, trying to lighten the mood.

He earned a groan from the potato loving girl. "Ugh...no he would not...its not like Levi has manners or follows the rules himself, Iv'e caught him scavenging late night snacks before!"

I coughed loudly, choking on my own saliva upon hearing Sasha's statement. She still remembered that?

Jean scoffed. "How would you know that? Obviously cause you were scavenging yourself?" He accused with a leer.

"No way! Uuh um...I was...I needed to go to the bathroom..." she lied, eyeing the crate she held in guilt. She was a terrible liar.

"Mmhm...sure you did." Jean muttered, not the least bit convinced.

"What? Did you repeat that just now?" Sasha snapped. Armin opened the door to let us through. There was an open kitchen big enough to fit a livingroom in it, and each of us took to stacking the crates near the sink.

"You know...even without depending on shopping like this, we could still get lots of things from that mountain!" Sasha's voice echoed along the walls of the room.

Armin glanced at her. "Its no good Sasha, that mountain is a reserve, there wouldn't be any meaning to us if there was trouble."

Sasha grinned at that. "Alright then I wont touch it!...probably." that last word was a mere murmur but it didn't escape my hearing as I helped clear out the dishes.

"Hey I heard that! Potato woman!" Jean shouted from across the room. Armin and I laughed. After seeing nothing but death and destruction for nearly three days straight, it felt good to laugh again.

Footsteps sounded from another room and Eren appeared through the doorway, head covered in a white bandana and holding a broom. He resembled Levi being dressed that way. "Guys!" He exclaimed, blue eyes wide and curious. "Did you remove the dust from the crates before bringing them in?"

"Huh? Does it look like we had time to do that?" Jean grunted. "Besides its not like any is gonna get on the floor, we'll take them outside before that happens."

"I see...eh, Sakura aren't you supposed to be in the hospital? Why are you dressed that way..." Eren's eyes averted themselves to look into my eyes in confusion.

"Ah about that, I'm feeling a lot better actually, I just needed some rest thats all."

"Well okay, I'm glad to hear it." The boy smiled warmly at me, clutching the broom loosely in a relaxed state.

Jean grinned at me as well, slamming down a crate by the sink, sending mud and dust flying several directions across the floor. "I'm glad you're better too sweetcheeks, by the way you should really get dressed, I feel like that cloth thing is gonna fall right off, not that I wouldn't mind the sight..."

Before I could reply, Eren beat me to the punch. "Hey! Look at that mud! Hurry up and clean those crates now!" He yelled, hysterical and eyes wild. He looked like a frightened puppy.

That made Jean clench his teeth in annoyance. "You do it! I dont give two shits about mud on the floor!"

"Are you insane?!" Eren was getting closer to Jean, jabbing his finger into the taller mans chest in anger. "Do you think corporal Levi will be satisfied with this non-sense! Even this morning! If I hadn't mended the sheets of your bed..."

"Shut the hell up! Are you my mom or something?!"Jean shouted. I clutched my head in annoyance. Those two were giving me a headache. Slamming a crate down, I stepped in between them and shoved both of their chest's with lean hands.

"Both of you stop! If you fight again I will punch you both into next week!" I growled. That shut them up. They fell silent and cowered, making Sasha applaud in relief.

"Yeah okay...sorry..." Jean muttered.

I gave a loud sigh and straightened up. "So...where exactly is this building anyway?"

Eren shot me a surprised glance. "You really don't know? It's the survey corps building, it was reconstructed since the raid destroyed nearly half of it...while we were off into wall rose I guess, it's amazing how fast they did it, Levi is considering giving us the chance to get normal rooms, so no more sleeping underground for us."

"I see...now I understand, no wonder this building didn't look familiar." I murmured.

"We're back!"

I turned at the sound of Mikasa's familiar voice and watched as she came in through the front door with Christa in tow. Both were holding piles of freshly cut wood and the taller woman had an ax draped over her shoulder.

"Huh? You guys went to go chop some wood?" Armin asked in surprise.

Mikasa set her share of wood on the floor by the doorway gently before replying. "Yeah, my body is becoming dull anyway."

"Eh? But...you're not a wild animal! Shouldn't you still be healing?" The blond pressed in dismay.

Charcoal eyes glanced at him and the girl swept her hands over her long skirt to remove any dust that lingered. "Not really."

"Yeah I tried to stop her." Eren chimed in. "But she wouldn't stay in bed, plus she was working out an hour ago so she's healed I guess."

That statement made Jean grit his teeth. "You bastard! You peeped on her didn't you?!"

"Whaaaat?!" Blue eyes widened at the accusation. I groaned. My fingers were dipped into the rushing water of the faucet and I settled on watching it splash on the stack of potatoes gathered on the sink. They needed to be cleaned before going up for cooking after all. And the cool sensation of the cold water felt nice in the warm room. I could faintly hear the rest of the water going down the drain.

"It feels like...we are back in our trainee days." Sasha murmured with a smile.

"Yeah but, we have an important duty to protect Eren and Historia...while we lost a lot of experienced soldiers...why were we specifically chosen for Levi's squad?" Armin mumbled.

Sasha shrugged, hand feeling around her small satchel pouch for something. "Well because we are good obviously!"

"Anyway guys...we have to finish up cleaning before Connie and the corporal come back."

My head snapped towards Eren so swiftly I almost stumbled on my own feet. "Huh? Levi is coming here?" I nearly barked, making him take a step back.

"Y-yeah whats the big deal." Although he stuttered, he still had a look of intensity in his eye that said he knew more than I thought.

"Nothing..." I murmured. "Just looking for him is all."

"Hey, Sakura...you should really change into some clothes." Mikasa suggested, eyeing me carefully.

"Oh thats right, uh...I don't know how to get underground from here." I admitted while scratching my head.

"Levi and I took everything out and put it into our new rooms up stairs in the third floor, if you want I can escort you?" Eren offered politely while setting the broom aside to lean against the bare wall.

I nodded in gratitude. "Thanks."

"Don't take too long or you'll make us think you're doing dirty things!" Jean teased with a devious grin, earning a hard elbow hit from Sasha and a disapproving glance from Mikasa.

"Shut the hell up! As if that will ever happen!" Eren barked, slamming his bandana against the counter after taking it off. His brown locks were messy and wild after the action, making his outrage look funny.

"Cmon don't let him get under your skin, I seriously need my clothes." I pressed, shoving him from behind.

"Alright." Eren sighed in defeat, walking out of the kitchen and into a bare hallway with mopped floors. It seemed Eren was cleaning all day...poor guy.

He led me towards some polished stairs and we climbed them quickly, feet padding against the wood lightly as we did so. Eren's silence was waning on me...what was on his mind? Once we reached the second floor, I grabbed his elbow to halt him just as he was about to start for the rest.

He turned to stare directly into my eyes, expression unmoving and stoic.

"You know something..." I didn't have to be a psychic to take a hint.

"Levi was here before he left for an errand...he wasn't too happy." Eren murmured, eyes sliding down to stare at my neck.

My grip around his elbow tightened. "How angry was he?"

Eren shook his head. "Not angry just...crushed, I don't think Iv'e ever seen him look like that since his squad died."

My heart squeezed tight against my chest. This wasn't fair, not fair at all! Why did I have to feel like this was my fault?! "I see..."

Eren's gaze softened. "I don't know what happened between you two, or what your relationship with each other is...but I know this much, Levi has really become attached to you, everyone around him keeps leaving and dying, if you left that would make him real sad...but, it's not his decision to make." He smiled warmly and patted my bare shoulder gently. "Whatever happens, he's an adult, I'm sure he will know how to handle the departure if he can handle loss and death."

They were supposed to be words of reassurance, and I was more than grateful to hear them, but they did little to ease the growing anguish and pain in my chest. Maybe that time under the tree was a mistake. Why did I have to give in to my feelings so easily?

'Because you love him.' My inner voice whispered in a tantalizing caress.

It couldn't be helped, I loved him so much it hurt, it was beyond any love I had ever felt for anyone, even Sasuke.

"We're almost to our rooms, come on." Eren's calm voice snapped me out of my inner turmoil and I followed him sluggishly up the stairs until he made it to the top. The floor in this story wasn't cleaned yet but it didn't look so dirty. The walls smelled of wood polish and sawdust, making my nose tickle with the threat of a sneeze. The sunrays from outside shone in perfect piercing light from the windows, illuminating the hallway without the need of torches or lamps.

Eren led me to a white door and he opened it casually, making it creak in the process.

"This is your room, mine is just across this one." He pointed out.

I nodded and stepped inside, eyeing every nook and cranny the cozy room had to offer. There was a big window with blinds to the front that offered a good view of down below and the sun shone through so the room wasn't dim. A neatly made bed with white sheets lay before me with folded clothes resting on it. The red top was familiar.

"Courtesy of Hanji." Eren explained with a grin.

I returned the gesture with one of my own. "Awesome! I do miss my old clothes, thanks for letting me know where my room is."

"No problem, I gotta get back to clean or else Levi will skin me alive." Eren said with a shudder.

"Alright." I said as I watched him leave, hearing his footsteps receding into the air.

Sighing, I closed the door and threw myself into my bed, not caring that I was smashing my clothes with my own body. The fabric was soft under my hands, it felt really good to finally be able to rest in my own bed. So it wouldn't hurt to take a quick nap before I headed down to join the others. Mind set, I curled up into a fetal position and closed my eyes.

...

I awoke in darkness, the faint ticking of a clock was the only sound that could be heard in the eerie stillness of the room I slept in. Groggy out of my mind, I rolled over and opened my eyes to survey my surroundings. It wasn't so dark, maybe around six o'clock. The light was a dim gray that made it look like it was foggy outside. Stretching, I felt around for my folded clothes and tore off the hospital gown I wore, letting it fall to the floor after getting up to dress fully. My undergarments came first, and I tugged on the rest after that, zipping my boots up to my knee. My gloves and elbow strings rested on the bed, and I decided to leave them there. I didn't think I would need them anyway.

So I headed out the door quietly, letting it shut behind me. The hallway was lonely, the only sounds that could be heard was the wind slapping against the window panes. I peeked outside to look around.

"Jesus..." I breathed. It was warm and sunny during the day time, but now it was windy as hell. The trees looked like they were about to be torn from their roots and fly off into oblivion. Sighing, I proceeded to walk down the stairs. Were the others up and about down in the kitchen? I could only hope so, because I was hungry. And I silently prayed Levi had shown up.

I made it to the first floor and crept down the hallway, the one similar to where Eren led me through. Finger tips brushed along my red top as I brushed my hand along it. I could faintly hear murmurs...were they there?

They were. Everyone was seated on a long table by the time I showed up...and Levi sat on the edge of the far end, his back turned to me.

"Sakura, you woke up, I was gonna go get you, cmon sit here." Eren suggested, patting the empty chair next to him. I nodded meekly and made my way over, heels clicking against the floor. Levi wasn't turning...was he going to ignore me the whole time? That was childish.

I sat down after Eren pulled the chair over for me.

"Here, its still warm." He passed me a cup of something brown. Curious, I picked it up and took a sip. Hot chocolate.

"Thanks." I murmured.

"No problem."

There was a minute of awkward silence, and I had to glance at Levi to see if I could read any emotion on his face. There was none. He was looking down at the table and swept a hand under it, bringing it up only to feel the dust between his fingers. For some reason, looking at the action made me blush.

"Even though you had plenty of time to clean up...well I understand you put it aside to have fun, if you can fix it however I'll agree to this principle." He said dryly, shooting Eren a flat glance.

Eren grit his teeth and smacked his head in frustration while Jean looked down at his cup like it was the most interesting thing in the world.

Nobody said anything so Levi continued. "Well I understand that a lot has happened, but that doesn't change our main objective, moreover we need to plug in the hole in wall maria, if we can fullfill this then anything else doesn't matter."

"Thats right...my neighbor turned into a titan." Sasha murmured. She probably meant that everyone in wall maria had turned.

"Plus it seems like some titans are hidden inside the walls, so its safe to say they were once people too." Jean added.

Levi nodded, eyes faraway into some other world. "Hey Armin, you said something interesting once about plugging up the hole in the wall, why don't you tell us about it."

The blonds eyes widened as his sky blue eyes fixated on the corporal. "Ah yes...I was thinking about using Eren and Sakura's abilities to plug up the wall...it seems to be made of the hard substance the titans have, and if we could somehow figure out how to use that...if only such a thing was even possible."

"I agree." Jean muttered. "If we had such an asset then we wouldn't be needing those carts to pull in materials for every little bit of damage that happens, in other words, we could aim for the site that would be based on titan activity in the night."

"But it would be impossible to reach there by horsepower over night either from Sina or from Trost." Armin shot back.

"But if this is true...if Sakura and I work together then the time it would take to get back the wall would be less than a day." Eren stated, locking eyes with me. I nodded in approval.

"Yes I will cooperate however best I can." I responded, glancing at Levi again. He wasn't making any eye contact, he was stirring his cup slowly, eyes downcast.

"But wait, do you two even know how to harden your bodies like Annie?" Jean retorted.

Eren and I glanced at each other meekly before shaking our heads in defeat. We sure as hell didn't.

"That's why I will conduct some tests, if you both will allow it, I want to examine your titan bodies." Hanji's voice made us all turn towards the door. She had silently slipped in sporting a long coat.

"Eh? What kind of tests?" Levi asked with a frown.

Hanji shrugged off her coat and set it aside. "I just want to achieve piece again...I want everyone to feel safe, and to do that these kind of measures have to be taken, I know you two are iffy about it, but I ask you to please consider it." Hanji pleaded, eyes scanning us for a response.

I nodded solemnly. "Okay...just don't do anything too weird." I said jokingly in an attempt to lighten the mood.

Hanji sighed. "Thank you, I also want to know how you manipulated the titans...if such a thing can be done between the two of you, then it would mean a major turn around for all of mankind! We just may be able to survive." She took a deep breath before continuing. "But we can't go slowly...we have to move quickly, that's why...I want to hide Eren and Sakura for a bit more."

Eren's head snapped up. "Huh? Why?!" He protested.

Hanji looked down. "Um...well, the situation is more complicated than we expected it to be."

Levi spoke up. "Hey...why do you need to make that sad face, don't you see the brats said they would do it? Do you really need to look like that? There's been enough grief as it is." He was referring to Hanji.

We stared at her quietly. It was true that she looked down...

"Levi...the priest died." She said flatly without warning.

"What?!" Several of us murmured. Levi looked stunned. I was the only one who wore a blank expression because honestly, I was confused.

"Um, what priest is that?" I asked meekly. Was it the annoying bald one who worshiped the wall like jesus christ walked on it?

"The one who wouldn't speak about the titans in the walls, this morning, he was found inside the barracks inside of Trost, we don't know how but...he was killed." Hanji murmured darkly.

"How? Why the hell was he discovered there of all places?" Levi snapped.

"We don't know, the military police is investigating, its very strange." Hanji retorted. She pushed up her glasses nervously. The stress was evident in her eyes. She needed a rest badly.

"This reeks of bullshit." Levi insisted.

"His belongings were stolen, so it looks like a burglary and murder, as you know these cases have been very common recently." Hanji explained with a sour look.

My eyes widened. Could it be related to what those men were talking about?

"We don't even know much about Nick...only that he was a wall sect member with a lot of secrets." Hanji went on with a sigh.

"I bet the military police are in some sort of cover up." Jean stated.

"I know who did it!" Hanji suddenly spat, eyes ablaze with hatred. "It was Jeals! The military squads torture marks were written all over his body! These guys tortured Nick and killed him!"

"Even if you're right, we can't do anything without evidence." Levi stated.

"But its partly my fault things worked up like this!" Hanji snapped. Her face was contorted to look like she was in extreme anguish. "I'm the one who hid Nick into those barracks because he wanted to hide from the wall sect, he wanted to hide his identity and he confided in me of all people, I never would have imagined that those religious bastards would send a soldier to kill him."

Now I understood why Hanji was so worked up about this. She was holding herself responsible for the mans death.

"Don't say such trash, its not your fault it happened, what difference could you make to save his life? He was doomed the minute those walled in titans were known." Levi stated rather bluntly. He took a sip of his beverage lightly.

Everyone sat in silence for a while...staring with blank faces at nothing. Armin was the one to break the ice.

"You say the military police tortured Nick the priest...just how much did he know?" The blond whispered, fingers gripping his cup firmly.

"Don't know, but this is all the more reason to hide the brats from the church and the Leis family, they will stop at nothing to keep their secrets hidden, whatever they may be, they don't want the public to know." Levi said.

I frowned. He kept on saying brats...was he avoiding my name? This was just agitating me more. I wished we were the only ones in the room so I could slam him against the wall and shout with all my might.

"Furthermore, this place of the survey corps has always been hidden, even from the police, seeing as we are in a situation where we don't really know who is the enemy." Levi continued. "We separated into two groups when coming here so I doubt we have been followed, even so we have to be careful." He glanced at Hanji. "Any thoughts on experimenting on the two?"

"Ah." The brunette glanced at us. "Yes since the moment Eren's titan abilities came to light, the middle class military force has been anxious to get his powers under control, Sakura's abilities are being kept in the dark since they confused her titan form with Annies, being that they look similar to each other."

"That's good, lets keep it that way." Levi nodded.

"But with these recent events involving Reiner and Bertholdt, I know that while we keep an eye on the outside for enemies, we are being stabbed in the back!" Hanji reasoned, hands waving in the air.

Levi scowled. "So what are you saying, that we should just keep indoors and have tea like this?"

Hanji nodded. "There are lots of things that can be done indoors like knitting! Just for the time being."

Levi slammed his hand on the table, making it rattle and the rest of us jump. "Meanwhile?! Are you kidding? You're wrong! It's exactly the opposite!"

I had to cringe at this. Levi was scary as hell when he was angry. Watching these two fight was like watching a tennis match. Everyone kept on turning their heads when either of the two spoke.

Levi had to take another long drink before he calmed down. It was evident from the smell of the glass that he was drinking liquor, not hot chocolate. How many glasses had he drank?

"What do you think? That they'll forget the whole thing and turn their cheeks? That they'll never find this place eventually?!" He was screaming now. Sasha was cowering in her seat, looking like she wanted to bolt from the room. She wasn't the only one.

He took another long drink. "The more we run away the faster they will find and corner us, Hanji you're usually sharp minded but feeling guilty for Nicks death has clearly clouded your thinking." Levi muttered.

Hanji frowned. "I'm not the only one with a cloudy mind! Don't think for a second that I don't know whats going on in your head! You think you can judge me for being a wreck?! Just look i'm the mirror Levi! Look in a mirror!" She shouted.

"Uh...hey guys? Don't fight okay? I'm sure Nick the priest didn't yield to the torture, he wouldn't talk even when Hanji threatened him with pushing him over the wall remember?" Eren chirped awkwardly.

"Hanji growled at him. "Of course not! Ten of his nails were removed! People usually talk when one is removed so I'm perfectly sure why we are safe! But the corporal here deems me unfit to think rationally!" She barked, standing up and yanking her coat from the chair from which it lay in.

"Enough!" Connie shouted. "Why are you both acting like children?"

"Tell that to your captain." Hanji spat before marching outside and slamming the door shut behind her.

Mikasa merely looked around. "Uuh...what just happened?" She asked in a confused tone.

"I'm going to bed, goodnight." Levi murmured, drinking the last bit of liquor before he got up and started for the hallway.

When I was sure he was out of earshot, I got up too. "I'm going to sleep as well." I stated, already heading towards the hallway.

"Huh? Aren't you going to eat?" Sasha exclaimed with wide eyes.

"Later!" I yelled, running away from the kitchen. I had to find Levi now. I spotted him making his way up the stairs and I followed him quickly, stopping in front of him once he made it to the top.

"Wait!" I yelled.

He halted, frowning down at me. "What the hell do you want?" He said flatly, making me flinch. The cold way he said it hurt. A lot.

I clenched my teeth in anger. "Why are you ignoring me? Since when were we strangers?! Huh?!" I shouted, breathing heavily with the built up emotion rising in my chest.

He didn't say anything, just stared down like I was being a huge bother. It made me want to scream.

"Answer me!" I shouted, moving my fist to shove his shoulder.

He caught it in midair and I moved to yank it away, only to cause a struggle between the two of us because he wasn't letting go.

"What do you want!" Levi breathed loudly, struggling against my strength.

"I want to talk!" I hissed, shoving him away.

His hair had become messy somewhere between the struggle and he was breathing heavily now.

"There's nothing to talk about." He murmured flatly.

"What do you mean there is nothing to talk about! Explain to me why you have to act like I don't exist!" I demanded.

"Because it will make it easier when you leave!" He snapped.

A long silence stretched between us, nothing but the sound of our breathing filled the air as I stared at his shoes blankly.

"What kind of delusion do you live in..." he whispered, and I had it within me to look up at his eyes. He was no longer angry and frustrated. He was pained, hand brushing his hair back as he leaned against the wall. "What did you think we could have? Why didn't you tell me you were leaving this soon? I wouldn't have gone through with you if I knew that-

"Wouldn't have gone through with it?" I interrupted him with a scoff. Tears were threatening to well up in my eyes and my throat felt heavy. I hated this feeling. "So you regret what happened?"

He didn't say anything, his eyes were blank as he stared off into the window.

I felt a tear run down my cheek and I angrily wiped it away. I wasn't going to cry now. Not this time dammit.

"We made a mistake...got too attached." He whispered.

More silence stretched between us.

"Because I don't." I whispered, ignoring his statement. He looked at me and we stared at each other for a moment.

"Stay with me." He muttered in a sincere tone.

My heart churned. "You're asking a lot of me."

"I can't help it."

I knew he couldn't. But it wasn't easy to easily forget my past life, the life I led before I came here.

He slumped down against the wall and sat on the floor, looking utterly defeated. Not knowing what else to do, I walked over him and caressed the top of his head, feeling the silky smooth hair.

"I wish there was some way I could be two places at once." I whispered.

He nodded and took my hand in his to squeeze.

"I already lost more than I could bear, I don't want to lose you too " he said lowly.

I frowned. "But you wont lose me!" I reasoned. "I'm with you! I'll always be with you! Right here..." I bent to be face to face with him and pointed at his chest. If I wasn't feeling so emotional I would have laughed at how incredibly cheesy that sounded. But it didn't matter. All that I felt was forgotten with his soft lips pressing against my own.

I kissed back, holding on to him as if he would disappear forever if I failed to. The kiss deepened, and soon, I didn't remember how but we were standing, battling for dominance over who got the control. I could smell the familiar scent of mint and I wanted more.

Without warning, he grabbed my wrist and dragged me towards a door. I staggered after him like a drunk. But I was drunk. Drunk with love. I couldn't contain these feelings I had for Levi, and neither could he. Right now, all that mattered was us. And that was enough for me.
