I could never tell what Mikasa was thinking behind those charcoal eyes of hers, and even less so now that she, for once, wore an expression of dread upon gazing at the freaky titan. She was completely frozen on the spot. So was Eren, neither of them spoke. It was especially uncharacteristic of Mikasa.

"Hey...what's wrong?" I spoke out in confusion, hoping that my voice would break the trance these two were under.

No response came, because once the titan got close enough, it bent to snatch Eren. I gasped and was about to rush forward, pink hair brushed wildly against my face as I moved quickly. However, Mikasa beat me to the punch, landing on top of Eren with a protective embrace. Startled, I stumbled and landed on top of her. The fool! I was going to shove Eren out of the way...so why did she do that?

It was already too late to recover, the titans shadow draped over all three of us as it reached down. I shut my eyes in anticipation. The hand never came however...because someone stepped in to interfere, slashing at the titans flesh and drawing blood. My eye's opened to see my surroundings. It was that blonde man that Eren and Mikasa favored. He held his ground firmly in front of us with his sword raised fearlessly.

"Hannes!" Mikasa shouted in surprise.

"You guys!" The man didn't turn around, but instead kept his blue eyes locked onto the titan desperately as he spoke out. "Watch as I take revenge for your mother!" He clumsily dodged another swipe and panted. "I wanted to see you for a long time!" He growled at it angrily.

I blinked and stared at the grinning titan, finally understanding given Hannes words. This titan must have been the one that ate Eren's mother.

"Hannes don't!" Eren yelled as he scrambled up, throwing Mikasa and I off. Hannes didn't listen. Instead, he chose to fly up with the gear and fight the thing. I held my breath steadily. Could he really do it? I have never seen the man fight before so I had no idea how skilled he was.

Mikasa rose up, but grimaced in pain and slid back down quickly. It seemed like she was injured. Eren squirmed behind her impatiently.

"Mikasa release me! You can't fight with those injuries!" He exclaimed with a heavy breath.

The raven haired girl turned around to lock eyes with him. "Release you?" She asked uncertainly. Her gaze held confusion and doubt. She was afraid of Eren fighting.

"I can help Hannes!" I spoke out quickly, rising up. If I could spare Eren from fighting than that would be helpful considering his own injuries.

"No! This is my fight!" Eren's voice stopped me dead in my tracks. "I have to do this!" His eyes were full of intensity and rage. I nodded, understanding, and bent to release him from his bindings. Mikasa silently let me. It wasn't until then that I noticed Levi was gone, possibly to help clear out the titans that were thrown in front to block the rest of us from escaping. Reiner was still launching titans like footballs, and they were getting up to roam. It was chaos.

"I'll be back!" I shouted at the two over the loud noise of falling titans. I held my breath slightly as I ran at full speed towards Katsuyu, muscles stretching forcefully. I needed to find Levi after retrieving my summon.

"Katsuyu!" I got to her within minutes, and wasted no time in jumping high up into the air to land on her top head. Long eyes rolled back to fix on my form.

"Sakura-san." She stated softly. She was getting dry, I could tell from standing on her. This was a bad climate for a slug her size after all, but at least it wasn't sunny. The air was cold and the grass was still wet from previous rain. It helped in reducing irritation from her belly.

I flipped my hair back and sat on one knee to rub her head. "I need you to multiply now, I could carry you with me that way." I explained quickly.

"Understood!" Her eyes shrinked slightly as she shook. I held still to brace myself for the fall that I knew was coming. I wasn't about to fall this time. Wind blew against my face at the sudden drop as a billion mini katsuyu's separated and fell like water droplets from falling rain. I landed gracefully on the floor, careful not to step on any of her.

"Good job!" I praised with a grin, kneeling to grab a few of her to stick behind my back. I wasn't too sure how the others would react to her up close but she could be used as a handy healing walkie talkie. They were going to need to get over the squeamishness. Especially Sasha.

"Of course! Do you mind explaining where we are?" Katsuyu sounded like she really didn't want to be here. I had to remember to apologize for summoning her in a non-humid climate later. She was just like Naruto's frog...always complaining about being summoned on salty water or dry ground, although Katsuyu had a polite way of whining. The thought made me snicker as I ran back towards the others with the slug on my shoulder, the few rest stood attached to my back.

"Sorry, no time to explain now, but after this is over, i'm going to need you to send an important message to the others back in Konoha." I breathed out in pants. Katsuyu didn't say anything more. The slug's silence was a bit ominous and it was worrying me. But that could be saved for later. Right now, I had to focus on the present.

I was getting close to the battle area thanks to the thumping of the earth under me from titans being launched. Reiner wasn't going to stop anytime soon it seemed. I halted as soon as I spotted familiar blonde locks. Erwin was looking frantically for a way around the thrown titans. The distress and frustration was clear on his face as he steered his horse this way and that. I bit my lip and decided to run to him. He might know where Levi was...

A sudden shadow draping over me stopped me and I flinched as Katsuyu shouted, "Sakura san look out!"

Heeding her warning, I jumped out of the way just in time as Ymir rushed past me with animalistic speed. Christa was no where to be seen, meaning she must have gotten down. My teeth clenched as I fumed over the bitch. "Cha! Is she trying to get me killed?!" I hissed under my breath. Honestly she almost flattened me...then realization suddenly hit me. She was heading towards Erwin...and she wasn't slowing down.

"It's your fault our plans got fucked up! Commander!" My ears almost bled at how freaky and scratchy her voice sounded in titan form. But there was no doubt about it, she was going to attack Erwin. He sat there, frozen on his horse. There was little time. I had to act quickly. How many times was I going to need to save Erwin anyway?

Much to my utter surprise, it wasn't Erwin she swung at, but an incoming titan. She grabbed it and tore its head apart. A nasty and grotesque sight but a necessary one. I sighed in relief and ceased to wild running to a constant jog. Connie and Christa rode a horse beside Ymir, seemingly exchanging words because the petite shot her wires at Ymir's head to stand on her. I changed my pace and made my way towards Erwin.

The man was riding away and I thought about hollering over for him to stop, if a titan didn't get in the way that is. Flying chunks of dirt and earth smacked against my face as a titan landed between us and I fell on my ass.

"Aaargh! Damnit!" I shouted while angrily wiping dirt from my eyes. That armored bastard was dead. Even Katsuyu recoiled at the impact.

I got up once the smoke cleared out and ran around the flailing titan. Erwin sat on the ground, clutching his arm. His horse lay a few feet away, indicating he had flown off of it. My brows creased in worry.

"Erwin!" I shouted as I got nearer. He looked up with a frown and shook his head.

"Just let me be, there is a replacement for me, you need to get Eren out of here." He breathed out tiredly. He seemed completely beat.

I shook my head in defiance and tore a slug off of my back to place it on his shoulder. He stared at it in confusion and slight distaste, scrunching his eyebrows as he tried to back away.

"Don't worry its just a slug." I whispered. My hands rose up to preform the necissary hand signs to link my chakra to Katsuyu's. Of I did that, then I could speed up the healing process through her to heal the people she was attached to. It was a nifty trick Tsunade sama taught me through many shouts and impatience.

I bit my lip nervously. "Uuh." My eyes locked with his as I debated on my choice of words. "Don't freak out but she can talk, if there is any information you need to pass on you can tell her and she will in turn, tell me." I explained while pointing at her other half resting on my shoulder.

He looked me over plainly, then the slug. "I don't know...I feel like a fool talking to an animal."

If we weren't in the middle of a blood bath filled with flying titans I would have burst out laughing. Erwins reaction was nothing like mine when I first encountered Naruto's talking frog. I screamed and almost kicked it. But Erwin's response was just as funny.

"There's no need, I'm here to help and I'll do my best." Katsuyu muttered by his ear. Erwin tensed, and I could see a mixture of surprise and shock on his startled face.

Before he could freak out any further, I quickly butted in. "Do you know where Levi is?"

He blinked and shook his head "No."

I stared cautiously. Erwin was taking this whole thing all too well. His reaction was nothing like mine when I was first introduced to Naruto's talking frog. I remember screaming, and nearly kicking it if it weren't for Naruto getting in the way. And although his composure was well built with calamity, it didn't fail to bring a small smile from my lips at the memories it brought.

"Go an look for him if you want, but you have to promise to bring Eren back safe and sound." His voice was firm and his gaze didn't waver for a second.

I gave him a grin and nodded. Just as I was about to turn back I was halted in a frozen shock as I contemplated whether or not I was seeing things. I prayed that I was because Reiner was running at full speed towards us all, with steamy feet that were covered in yellow-green acid and titans hanging on him like ants.

A scouting legion member ran by us with panicked shouts. "Commander! The armored titan is heading towards us!"

"Sakura san!" Katsuyu whined with worry gracing her fragile voice.

So I wasn't hallucinating. My heart beat quickly against my chest. This guy just didn't give up! I turned around to talk about our options but the sudden absence of the thumping floor shut my up. Pink locks swayed against my face as I slowly turned in confusion. The armored titan had stopped, he was just standing there in the acidic mush...but why?

It wasn't until then that I heard the blasting noise of a titans animalistic roar as one flung itself over the grinning titan. I stared in disbelief as the other titans around us stopped as well, and rushed towards the fallen titan. It was the one who was attacking us earlier, the one that Hannes was fighting. Had he failed? But then why were the other titans eating it? Everyone stared as it was being ripped to bloody shreds. Nothing but the grotesque sound of flesh tearing and bone crunching filled the air.

"Why...why is that titan getting eaten?" I whispered under my breath in confusion. Erwin didn't say a word, for he too, was completely speechless. This was something new and odd, titans simply didn't attack other titans unless it was a shape shifter. Eren's form emerged from a distance and I could see he had Mikasa on his back as he staggered towards us. Levi rode behind him, with a bloody sword clutched in one hand.

A sudden quake shook the ground again and I turned to see Reiner running towards us again.

"Shit! It's coming!" Someone shouted from behind me. I gave a frustrated sigh. This guy just never gave up! When was he going to let us go!

"You fucker! Stop it! If you get any closer I swear I'll kill you!" Eren's sudden raging made me jump. He was losing his cool.

"Shut up moron! Don't get him any more riled up than he already is!" Connie shouted angrily. Eren whipped his head around, ready to talk back, but didn't. Silence filled the air, even Reiner stood still in anticipation. The sound of broken bones and meat being torn stopped, leaving only our shallow breathing. The titans has stopped eating and turned their attention to Reiner, each staring at him with dark beady eyes that lusted for him. They got up slowly, and rushed all at once towards the armored titan. They hung on to him like glue or confetti. It was nearly impossible for him to get up again.

"He's on his knees now is our chance! Connie shouted hysterically with Ymir beside him. I nodded in agreement. If we were going to escape we had to do it now before it was too late.

"Hurry! Bring the cart!" Erwin instructed. Jean and Sasha rushed to attach a cart roller onto their horses and I helped Erwin onto it quickly, while Eren hopped on with Mikasa.

"Lets leave now, he won't be able to chase us in his condition." Levi muttered. We agreed and rode forward as Erwin lay in between Mikasa and I. His exhaustion took over and he closed his eyes. Most of the scouting legion was gone...this I was painfully aware of as the horses ran at full speed. Most of the survivors were injured, I had to pull through for them. Putting a cold hand over Katsuyu to protect her from the cold wind that came from the darkening skies, I stared back at the figure that was slowly decreasing in size. Reiner didn't chase us anymore.

...

It wad hours after the fight with Reiner and Bertholdt. The fight that took many peoples lives. I felt this day would stay in my memory until the day I died. It was dark out, with barely any torches to light our way. Ymir had chosen to stay behind with Reiner, and it made Christa cry herself to sleep. The girl was slumped over Connie's back on his horse with closed eyelids. I sighed in the cold winter air, my icy nose making me want to sneeze. I was freezing, there were no blankets around in the cart and I was using Katsuyu to heal Erwin's wounds, who was also asleep on the cart. Her plus sized form covered his entire torso as she slowly healed him. The process was slow but he was going to feel like a new man in the morning. A feeling well worth it. The sleeping heap beside him that was Eren had already been healed, his scratches and wounds gone.

The cart rocked hard and Mikasa scooted farther away from Erwin, not wanting to be close to Katsuyu. I rolled my eyes at the action. Iv'e had a lot of explaining to do to everyone as Katsuyu merged with her other halves to start the healing, and it wasn't exactly a picnic. While jean and Connie mused over how big "that thing" was, Sasha kept stealing terrified glances at the slug whilw riding the farthest away. Levi was neutral about the situation, perhaps too tired to praise or shun. Even in the dim light of the torches, I could see his slim figure riding on his own horse. I licked my dry lips and slumped back to enjoy the view for the rest of the ride.

"I'm sorry for being selfish." Mikasa's voice was quiet and hesitant but sincere.

Green emerald eyes swept from Levi's flawlessness to Mikasa's hunched over form on the corner of the cart. Her knees were brought up to her chest and her knuckles were pale white as she wrapped her arms over herself. "You are right, I only care about what I want, not for humanity as a whole."

I stared at her for a while and looked beyond into the darkness. "That's fine, no one is perfect, I used to only care about one thing too..." my voice trailed off as I recalled the countless times I drooled over Sasuke while Naruto or somebody else was being hurt. I wanted to rip the memories to shreds and burn them in a box to smithereens. "Not the team as a whole." I finished lowly.

Mikasa and I locked eyes and it came to me then. We were more alike than we ever thought possible.

"We're here!" Connie shouted from up front.

I looked ahead and saw that we were getting close to the wooden doors that stood in the middle of the massive wall I had climbed a month ago. The doors opened and Hanji stepped out, along with many other people in uniform. They buzzed around us like flies as they helped the injured get off their horses.

"What happened to the police force? Did you really lose that meany people?!" Hanji shouted over the noise in disbelief. She was carrying a sleeping Christa into a stretched that was being carried into another, cleaner cart.

"Erwin is injured too! But he should be fine with some rest." I called out, helping Katsuyu detach herself from said man.

"Ehh! What is that?" Hanji exclaimed loudly, jumping back from the cart and raising a hand to her heart. Her brown eyes were wide behind her glasses.

"I'll explain later, I can help you with Eren." I muttered quickly, placing Katsuyu on the side of the cart. Someone was wailing and it was driving me nuts.

"Okay..." Hanji said with a raised eyebrow. She helped carry the commander into a stretcher while i pushed the cart inside and helped others off their horses. Armin slid beside me casually, face bearly invisible in the dark.

"We lost too many people." He whispered as carried Katsuyu to the ground to place her on a towel. Jean had a bloody nose and it was pouring. Mikasa was also staggering, I could tell something was broken. Armin had a huge gash on his neck that needed treatment and I had a massive headache. I just wanted to run away and sleep.

"I know." Was all I could mutter as I watched everyone work in a fast paced frenzy.

"It will be fine, we got Eren back." Levi spoke from behind me. I whipped around to stare into his dark grey eyes. He was one of the few that looked alright, save for some bruises and the obvious exhaustion plastered on his stoic face. I was glad he was safe.

"At a heavy price." I said nonchalantly.

"Uuuugh this blows! I hate having nose bleeds!" Jean whined from his perch on the ground. He held a towel under his nose. Sandy blonde hair was wild and tainted with dirt. He looked like a mess.

"Shut the hell up man, there are people that are worse off than you." Connie retorted with a growl.

"Wonna start something?" Jean snapped. I sighed heavily. I was so not in the mood for this. Just as I was about to break them up, Mikasa fell flat on her side. We stared like owls, confused at the sight.

"You idiot! You didn't catch her!" Jean complained to Connie lazily.

I bent to examine her, turning the raven haired girl over to her back. Half lidded eyes peeked at me behind long dark lashes. "I think my rib is broken." She breathed weakly. I felt around her stomach and noticed it right away.

"I'll be back!" I muttered as I stood to fetch Katsuyu. She was still on the ground beside Jean and I picked her up gently, returning to Mikasa afterwards.

Placing the slug on her lower torso, I pressed my hands to her chest. "I need you to help me heal her." I instructed while giving the slug an apologetic glance for dragging her everywhere without a word. She obeyed with a quick 'yes', and we got to work. Green chakra flowed through my fingers as I concentrated. Mikasa's brows, which were scrunched down at the sight of Katsuyu being on her softened as she relaxed and closed her eyes to the chakra's sensation.

"Hey you think you can heal my nose next?" Jean spoke out through our groups silence.

I nodded at him. "Yes but it will have to wait." I said.

Levi stepped aside as a familar face came into view. Eren bent on his knees to take Mikasa's hand in his, groggy eyes being the only evidence of his precious slumber.

"I'm sorry." He murmured quietly. Mikasa stirred a bit, and gave him a small smile.

"It's alright...i'm alright." She whispered back, gripping his hand tightly. They shared another few minutes of silence as I worked.

"How many people died...so that I could be brought back?" Eren whispered with a dead raspy tone. I could tell his body was giving in to a mild flu.

"I think one hundred died if you include the military police from when we all set off, actually...I think the most deaths can be counted from them since they didn't have much experience, I know they weren't the best but...I feel pity for them...going there just to get eaten." Jean mumbled from his spot on the floor, eyes fixed on Katsuyu's back as if hypnotized by her blue patterns.

"Yeah..." Armin agreed shyly. "I don't really remember but there were around forty people on top of the wall, among all of them only around half can walk and run."

I cringed at the sound of that. It seemed I had my work cut out for me. I caught a glimpse of Eren's ghostly lips that were curled down in a frown. He looked so defeated...

Armin's voice caught my attention again. "But there were no problems going back home since the remaining titans kept going for Reiner."

He was right. But why had they? It made no sense why the titans suddenly changed target. It was like they were being manipulated, like a switch going off at the flick of a finger. "Don't you think that was strange?" I chided.

"I don't know, that slug sure scared the hell out of me for me to actually worry about Reiner, next time you're gonna pull a stunt like that, a heads up will be nice." Connie muttered.

I barely managed a small tired smile before replying. "Sorry..."

"But we owe you big time, there's no way we would have gotten Eren back without you, and we most likely would have lost a lot more people." Jean exclaimed after Connie. I could feel my chest heat up with the comment.

"It's no problem." I said sincerely.

There was another moment of brief silence. Nothing but the shouts and noise of people running about filled the air. The hot cackling of the torch's fire beside me was making my cheek hot. I was silently contemplating telling Armin to move it farther away. I didn't. Instead, Armin spoke again.

"The female titan could make herself the target of titans by screaming." His voice was soft and his sky blue eyes has a faraway look to them. The kind of look he had when he was thinking deeply about something.

"Yeah so? That's old news." Connie murmured, rolling his eyes. Eren's face was solid and stoic as a rock, eyes trained on the glow of my chakra as Katsuyu and I healed.

"Back there...the one that made the titan and Reiner get attacked was you, right Eren? You were screaming at them." Armin finished cooly. My head snapped sideways so fast I almost had a whiplash. Now he had our full attention.

Eren's eyes grew wide as he fought to think. "Huh? Well I... I don't really get what happened back there." He stuttered clumsily.

"Hey! Is that true? Did you manipulate the titans?" Jean nearly threw himself at Eren, his face was merely inches away from the boys.

"No! I don't know what happened." He shouted. He was getting defensive. But it was apparent on his face...Eren was just as confused as we were.

"If this is really true then that means..." Jeans voice trailed off into incoherent murmur. I watched as his face turned stone cold.

"Is this true Eren?!" It was Connie that butted in. "Cos if it is then it was you who called them back that one time...all our people were eaten."

Our faces fell and we locked eyes with Eren, who looked like he was struggling to process our words. "If this is true..." I whispered. "Then this shows just how valuable it was to have that fight." The group stared at me as if I said something idiotic. And I did but...it made sense to me. "Don't you see, it was the reason for getting Eren back, this is valuable information, we could use that now, it can change a lot."

Jean nodded in agreement. "This is crazy." He spoke out with an exasperated sigh.

Eren sighed back, the smoke of his breath rising in the air to disappear. His eyes closed mementarily as he spoke with a disgruntled voice. "You know Jean, ever sense you joined the survey corps, you've been preaching."

I could see Jeans eyebrow twitch as he shoved the bloody towel away from his nose as he whirled around to face Eren. "What?!" He exclaimed unhappily.

"It's because you say things with a wishy washy attitude." Eren finished with an irritated tone.

I bet my lip to keep from laughing. "Yeah you have been scary these past few weeks. Connie exclaimed with a smirk. "Its really creepy, you're looking totally like the bad guy right now."

"L-listen guys! I'm the one that rescued the dear Mikasa okay?" Jean stuttered with a blush.

"You mean Sakura rescued the dear Mikasa, you were just kinda standing there." Connie stated rather simply.

Connie and Jean inched closer to together, eyes gleaming as they both thought of possible combacks.

"Thank you Jean, Sakura." Eren suddenly spoke out. We eyed him with interest as he lifted a fist near his chest. "You both are right, from now on I will do everything I can to use this to our advantage, defeating the titans, taking back wall Maria, I will make it possible." He looked at each of us with determined eyed filled with desire. "This will make up for the losses that were contributed to me, I will make it right again...for everyone, and for Hannes." He finished.

My heart sank at the mention of the blonde mans name. So he was killed, that's why the grinning titan was still up. It was a shame really, but I didn't know the man well enough to feel terrible. That was for Mikasa and Eren to harbor.

Mikasa sighed deeply as I rendered the finishing touches before cutting my flow of chakra. With Katsuyu helping, the process was quicker than I had expected. "I'm finished, her bone is no longer broken." I exclaimed while feeling her rib-cage. It was good as new. Mikasa was breathing shallowly with her eyes closed. She has fallen asleep while I was healing.

"Thank you." Both Armin and Eren muttered with relief. Jean bent to pick the brunette up, wrapping his arms around her limp frame carefully and I felt a tinge of envy. I wanted so badly to sleep too, but I couldn't in these circumstances.

"I'll take her to a cart." He volunteered lowly. We watched as he strode over to a nearby cart that was being brought in by more scout members. He tucked the girl into a stretcher and it was carried away by busy remaining commanders. He strode back casually, sandy brown hair swaying in the cold night air as people walked by hastily, shouting orders or calling names. It was going to stay this way until sunrise it seemed. My eyes spotted Levi and I watched in awe as he worked quickly with Hanji, counting the remaining survivors and trying to find out who was killed.

"So what about the slug?" Connie's voice brought me to reality and I glanced at him. Right, now was a good time to explain everything.

"That slug was summoned by me from a jutsu." I spoke out slowly. I knew their ignorance of my choice of words so I had to make it at least a bit understandable. My world was alien to them after all. "She doesn't come from my world specifically, but from a different one a bit like ours only its filled with animals."

"Right...oversized talking animals." Connie muttered while glancing at Katsuyu.

"Hey, what if we are all just high, you know? Maybe we smoked too much dope and this is all one big hallucination." Jean started out loud, but then stopped at the sight of our incredulous faces.

"As if..." I muttered. "Anyway, i'm not the only one who can summon this particular animal, my mentor can too, and I'm hoping to send my message back hone through her." I finished.

"Hey...can't you just travel with her?" Eren butted in quickly. "I mean if your mentor can make that bug too, then that means shes making it travel, can't you just hold on?"

"You idiot!" Jean laughed to himself hysterically. "There are two wrong things with that statement." He scolded with a grin. "One, she cant just hold onto it and wait ages for the slug to be summoned." Jean held out a finger. "And two, how is she gonna just disappear with it?" He held out the last finger and shoved it into Eren's face.

The brunette slapped it away and growled. "I was just saying!"

I sighed and shook my head. "I'm not so sure...I have heard of it being possible but..."I thought back to the time where Naruto was taken with Gamabunta by grabbing on to its scarf, and coming back looking like a red roasted human piece of meat. Whatever that travel was, I had to be really strong and resistant to that kind of speed. Something like the nine tailed fox..."I just don't know if I will return in one piece so its much too risky."

"I see..." Eren muttered.

"Tsunade sama calls on me every morning!" Katsuyu's soft voice rang out, causing all of us to look down towards her.

"So in the morning...can you tell her what happened to me?" I exclaimed excitedly. "I went to go train in the forest...and one of the akatsuki members attacked me, its that childish freak with the orange mask! He did some strange jutsu on me and I landed here, its like it's some parallel world...I don't really know what that jutsu is." I admitted. "But perhaps if you can capture him you can force him to bring me back." I said flatly, which surprised me because I should have been sounding happy that I had a chance to contact the others...but really, I wasn't. Why?

"The masked man is Obito." Katsuyu spoke out. My eyes widened. So they had captured him already?

"I don't know who that is." I admitted again.

"A former member of the Uchiha clan, Sakura san...the great ninja war already started, everyone is fighting to the best of their abilities, the Akatsuki are gone but a more powerful threat emmerged, Madara."

My heart skipped a beat at the mention of that name. "How..." I whispered in disbelief, "how could so much be happening in the time iv'e been here?" I cried out. The war already started and I couldn't do anything! "What happened to Naruto?" I spoke suddenly, wishing with all my heart he was alright.

"He has been fighting for us all, his chakra serves as a powerful barrier for our allies...but Sakura san...something unexpected happened!"

"What?" I asked quickly, heart racing. The others stared in silence as well, probably not sure what Katsuyu was talking about but curious nonetheless. It took four words to nearly cause my heart to stop dead in its tracks.

"Sasuke has come back."
