Simon's POV

I just brought Mandy home and made sure she has everything before I leave again. What David said could be true... Maybe it would be good to get her out of here but for that, I'd need to talk to Vanessa and Spencer.

"Hello Simon what brings you in today?" Vanessa asks and I shift uncomfortably. What if she says no? "Has Spencer talked to you about what she thinks is wrong with Amanda?" I ask and she nods. "Yes, she has and I have good news. It was good that she was being careful, but all of this are normal symptomphs of her medication... She is totally fine," she says and I exhale loudly.

"Thank god," I say and she smiles. "Well, I thought about bringing her to america... I have a huge house there and maybe it would do her some good to get out of London for a while. I wanted to make sure it's okay with you," I say and she nods.

"I guess that's what would be best for her at the moment. She'll heal better in unfamiliar sourroundings and it will help her a lot. But you'll need to find a good psychiatrist and later on psychologist there... Have you talked to Amanda about this?" she says and I shake my head.

"I wanted to make sure you approve before I tell her. And besides that I need to ask Spencer something first," I say and she smiles at me. "You want to take her with you, don't you?" she asks and I nod. "Amanda would be lost without her," I say, hoping she'd understand.

"So you want to steal my best nurse?" She asks but smiles. "If she wants to then yes..." she says and I am happier than ever. "Thank you," I say and she smiles at me warmly. "Don't worry. Amanda deserves to get better. She is such a fighter... She'll get through this. I am sure," she says and I nod softly. "Thank you for everything you've done," I say and a tear rolls down my cheek.

"I am thankful that you made her go on when I couldn't..." with that I leave the room to talk to Spencer. I find her in the nurses room, where she drinks her usual cup of tea. "Hey Simon," she says and her face lights up.

"Hey Spencer," I say warmly. "Is Amanda with Vanessa?" she asks and I shake my head. "She is at home... I am alone," I say and she looks at me confused. "Do you need new medication? I can get it for you," she says and stands up, but I tell her to stay.

"Actually I came to ask you something... I am going to bring Amanda to my house in America and I want you to come with us. You can live in one of the guest bedrooms and I'll pay you for your work... I just don't want Amanda to loose you. You are very important to her," I say and she looks even more confused now.

"You want me to come with you two? Simon that's a huge decision for me to make. I would leave everything behind..." she says and I understand what she says...

"Think about it."

6 months later

"Morning Spence," Amanda says as soon as Spencer enters the kitchen. "Morning Mandy. How are you feeling today? I didn't hear you wandering around the house this night," she says and Mandy smiles.

She smirks at me before she says, "I had better things to do." Spencer looks at us weirdly and makes herself some breakfast. Amanda walks over to my and I put my arms around her tiny body.

"I love you," I say and kiss the top of her head. "I know..." she says and Spencer makes us both laugh with saying, "Get a room you two... oh wait that's not a good idea because here I can least make sure you don't do something dirty."

I kiss Amanda's lips and look her deep into the eyes. God I love this woman....
