I'm on 1 knee waiting for her response. Will you marry me? Why are those words so powerful? Why is she taking so long to reply? Then again, I probably only asked her 3 seconds ago, I lost time. I'm just so happy with her. 

"Oh my God, Haynes..." Good or bad? "Of course!" 

I knew I shouldn't have second guessed myself. I sprung up with excitement and we kissed. Just like how first kiss, but way better. I'm happy I was dragged out to that stupid club. I never believed in soul mates until I met Eliza. Even if the universe doesn't want us to be together, I'm going to continue to be with her. If that made sense. Eliza's the love of my life, I'm really happy I met her. 

After proposing and her saying yes, we went to the restaurant at the vineyard. I was paying for everyone's meal and I had the money to splurge. We are technically on vacation after all. And I know the person who owns this place, a family friend. I'm sure to get a discount. 

"I can't believe I'm settling down." Eliza said after the waitress took our orders. 

"I can't believe I'm genuinely happy." Ever since Jared passed, I haven't let anyone in. But meeting Eliza made me trust again. And good thing, I know have a best man. None of my actual brothers could handle this responsibility and I mean that in the nicest way possible. Plus, planning this funeral is helping me let go. 

"When's our wedding?" She jokingly questioned.

"I we just do close friends and family, we could probably get it done next week."

She gave me a blank stare, "have you ever planned a wedding before?"

"No, but I'm planning a funeral."

"Yeah, but that's about mourning someone's death, not celebrating love," she added, "plus Chloe and I planned this ever since we met. We're having a double wedding."

"Double wedding?" I asked looking confused.

"Yeah, Chloe and Lewis will go first and then you and I."

"Okay? I know you guys are best friends, but doesn't this take away from your moment?"

Lewis jumped in, "anytime one of them has an event involving one of them, the other one always misses it. It's like fate doesn't want them at the same event."

"And I'm Eliza's bridesmaid." Chloe added.

"That is so weird."

"And your life is normal." Eliza started to tease me. 

It was ten times cuter than usual. I love the way she teases me, it's mean yet sweet. Shows that she cares. I know I keep saying this, but I'm so happy with her and love her so much. I couldn't ask for a better life. I can't wait until we go back to LA and start planning this wedding. I'm definitely going to help, even if she doesn't allow.
