The bold, the wise,
The beautiful, the rise
The time, the demise

If you add "the"
In front of a noun
It becomes profound

A clock keeps ticking
Yet if it's the clock
That's ticking,
Suddenly,
It's important

Only when you're worthwhile
You'll become the person
Who's an individual in the world
For awhile

Everyone is equal they say
Yet even in our language
Only important people are
Referred to in "the" way

I aspire to become "the" me
To become important to the
Entire world, and leave
A changed globe in peace
