For the next few hours, Sarah and Josie subjected Anna to hell. They slashed her with knives, ripped out chunks of her hair and even shot her in the leg.
About halfway through the torture, Anna was pleading the girls.
"Please stop! I can't take any more."
"Oh really? Well that just means we have to carry on."
Another couple of hours later the girls finished their physical and emotional abuse only when Anna passed out from the huge amounts of blood she was losing. Sarah went and knelt in front of Anna and looked at her sliced face. She slapped her round it in an attempt to wake her up. It took a few attempts, however, as Anna was well and truly out of it.
"We're done for now. Would you care to explain why you brought us out here and killed the people you killed?"
"Go to hell."
"Josie, pass me the gun."
Josie threw the handgun to Sarah, who caught it in one hand. She pointed it at Anna's head.
"If you don't tell us, I'm afraid we're gonna have to kill you."
"Good! That'll put me out of the horrendous pain I'm in."
"You better tell us right now, or we'll put you through more torture!"
Anna hesitated. Would she rather go through slow torture or just tell them?
"Fine. I've always been the outcast of the group and everyone saw it. All you girls did was bring me down and make a mockery of me. I wasn't putting up with being a laughing stock anymore, no more emotional abuse so I got in touch with a hitman agency and met Jones. We made the plan to kill you all after Sarah arranged this stupid trip."
"So where does Mark fit into this? He was my only love, Anna!!"
"Exactly. We knew he would have to be involved, as bait for getting you two trapped. All the pieces of the puzzle came together, except-"
"This one," Sarah butted in.
"Correct. And if Jones was still alive you two would be dead by now. Consider yourselves lucky."
"No, consider YOURSELF lucky. Me and Sarah could've killed you earlier, but we decided not to. However, it's nearly the end of the road for you, I'm afraid."
"Who's gonna do it, Jo? Me or you?"
"I'd like to be the one to kill her after what she had done to Mark."
Sarah threw the gun back over to Josie. She raised it up so that it was pointing directly in the middle of Anna's forehead.
"I could never forgive you for what you've done. You've changed our lives forever. But now we're about to save the world from you. Goodbye, Anna."
Anna squeezed her eyes shut as she couldn't look either girl in the eyes when her death was so close. There was a 2 minute pause, as Josie wanted Anna to feel the anxiety of when it would all end weigh down on her shoulders. That, and she wanted Anna to think about her pure evil actions one last time before she died.
