Blueandgreenlesbians asks: Wondering if you know anything about giant snails... I'm worried that mine aren't drinking. I've got a ramekin of water in their tank but I don't think it's very easy to climb into. Do you know some way of giving them water that might be better for them?

I do admit that when it comes to snails I don't know much about land snails, as the only snails I've raised are aquatic ones. Escargoon is a Peru apple snail, which is one that never leaves the water.  But I would suggest that you don't try to give them all their water in dishes, rather take a small spray bottle with a mist and mist their tank, snails will absorb moisture through their skin much like reptiles do, it's in fact how Sandstorm gets most of his water, a nice good gentle spray every now and then! Another way to get them water is through their food, food that has a lot of water in it (like lettuce, fresh cut apples, and cucumbers). However I won't say scrap the dishes entirely, and definitely work on making them accessible for your snails. Hope this helps!
