Today's rant will be about stupid Oc's, Whether it's from a Team Crafted fanfic, Or a My little pony one; Enjoy!

So basically this may have also happened to you, If it did, I feel you; It's annoying.

I'm reading a fanfic, And it's actually turning out pretty good, That is until the author puts in her own Oc and makes it the star of ATTENTION! And it's just sad because, The book was going so well then it just sucked once that Oc appeared. When it's a Team Crafted Oc it's like this;

-Somebody's sister, Girl Friend, Boy Friend, Brother, Best friend

I totally understand why you'd want your Oc to be one of those, And it's fine until you make it look like it's the only important character in the book.

-Saves the day, Does all the heroic work

Once again, Totally understand why you'd want this. It's fine unless your Oc does ALL the work. I get it if you let him/her help out and do a lot, but it's just terrible if you make it so the other characters do nothing and your Oc does EVERYTHING!!!

-To many hybrids, Too powerful, Strongest thing ever

This goes on a lot with Oc's. And i mean A LOT! With My Little Pony Oc's they make it an Alicorn. It's fine too be an Alicorn but you need these thing:

-Why is your Oc an Alicorn?

This happens a lot too. They make there character an Alicorn for no apparent reason. For example Celestia, And Luna raise the sun and moon and help bring peace, Cadence shows leadership of a kingdom and brings love, Twilight also showed great leadership and responsibility and learned many life lessons about friendship (Not to mention saved the world a couple times) your Alicorn Oc needs a reason. And i've seen some people handle there Oc very we'll! There Alicorn Oc has a name, Age, Appearance, Personality, and most importantly a reason. What else annoys me with these kind of Oc's is that the author makes her/him something like daughter of discord, best friends with mane 6, niece of Celestia, element ect. It's fine if you use one or two of these, but not three or more THAT'S JUST WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But with Tc they make it so it's a hybrid of WAY too many things! Just no.
