The irritating sound of alarm woke him up from the sleep. As soon as he woke up his eyes fell on the recliner. She was not there. He wanted to apologise to her, for saying all those things to her, for being rude to her on the very first night of their wedding. He could have told everything to her in a more sensible way, why didnt he trusted her? She was a friend too. All these thoughts were kinda boiling up his mind, for the first time in his life Shivay was feeling guilty. Suddenly the cracking sound of the washroom door brought him to his senses only to lose themselve up in the scene he saw next. She was standing there in a beautiful black & golden sari. It was complimenting her skin so well. She looks good in sari, he thought. The water droplets dripping from her wet hair were making her sari wet too.
She was busy drying her hair with the towel & we she suddenly fliped her hair to the other side, some of the water droptlest landed onto his face. He was so lost in her that he didnt even realised that his phone was ringing.

•ANNIKA•
She woke up early to find him sleeping peacefully like a small child. The hair were quietly resting on his forehead which made him look more cute. She was busy admiring him when a thought striked her mind
"Dont! He is not yours Annika"
This reality brought some tears into her eyes. Ofcourse he was not hers. But she smiled thinking how happy he would be when he will be with Jennifer  for always. Thats what love does right? It gives you happiness when the person you love is happy. If Jennifer is his happiness, she will make him meet her. True love gives a kind of pleasure in pain. You know you are losing everything still there is a kind of peace & contentment coz the happiness of the one you love matters the most. And for Annika, Shivay's happiness matters the most. She took out a sari from her suitcase & went to take a shower. After 20 minutes she came out & went towards the mirror to dry her wet hair without knowing that a pair of eyes were busy admiring her. A few seconds later she heard Shivay's phone ringing, she turned to see him looking at her.
"Shivay!"
He was still looking at her.
"Shivay!"
She went towards him.

•SHIVAY•
"Shivay" he heard her say
"Ye..Yes" he replied stammering.
"Your phone is ringing" she said.
He looked towards the phone, it was Jennifer.
Her eyes fell on the screen & it turned her face pale. She avoided any eye contact with him & went out of the room.
He felt a bit bad looking at her & also a bit embarrassed. Was he just checking her out? Was he really so lost in admiring her that he didn't even heard his phone ringing. He felt a bit wierd. But he decided to talk to her. Watever might be the reason, he have hurted her & he would surely apologise to her. Also he wanted to thank her for understanding his condition. The only thing which somehow worried him was a kind of guilt feeling. He somewhere knew something is not right. He knew he loved Jennifer but still he was feeling bad for Annika coz afterall she loved him too & he could understand how hard it must for Annika to know all this and support him. She is the one who will be losing the battle in this whole fiasco & still she is ready to do this. He cant be with her forever but he would still make everything possible to make her happy till the time she is with him atleast this is wat he can do for her.

They were having breakfast in the dining hall when Mr oberoi said
"So here is my gift for the newly married beautiful couple" he handed an envelope to Shivay.
"What's this dad" shivay asked.
"Open it & have a look" Mr Oberoi said giving him a smile.
Shivay opened the envelope and the expression on his face changed.
"20 days honeymoon trip to Switzerland" he chocked while speaking & suddenly his eyes traveled towards Annika.
She looked exactly the same! Shocked & blank.
"Honeymoon" she wispered unbelievably.
"Yes Honeymoon. I want you both to spend some quality time with each other & thus thats a small gift" Mr Oberoi expressed his small wish.
"But dad..I mean why Switzerland. We can spend time with each other here as well" Shivay said
"Yes..Shivay is right dad & moreover your health is not fine. We cant leave you here like this & go" Annika said supporting Shivay.
"Nothing is more important to me than the happiness of my children. Life is very unpredictable beta. I dont want you guys to mingle up yourself in the ups & downs of life so early. I want you both to enjoy it to the fullest, so that you both can know each other more. When you have a partner by your side who understands you, loves you cares for you supports you even the hardest of time fail to make you weak. It is more important to understand each other which can only happen when there would be no third person to disturb you both. So no ifs & buts. I want you both to go & thats it. As far my health is concerned I will be having the whole hospital staff with me right here Shivay so dont worry."
Annika & Shivay were carefully listening to Mr Oberoi. They knew they are trapped & there is no other way to escape. They have to go anyhow. Both of them looked at each other with a helpless expression.

•SHIVIKA ROOM•
"Listen to me Jennifer, hello!?" It was the third time she disconnected his call.
"Damn" he threw his phone in frustration which slided towards the door of his room where he saw Annika standing.
She picked up the phone & went towards him.
"Is everything okay?" She asked.
"Ya..its nothing" he said turning away.
Annika knew this is something related to Jennifer which was disturbing him.
"Shivay" she said
"Hmm?" He replied turning back to her.
"Does she knows about us? As in the marriage?" Annika asked hesitatingly. It was the first time she was talking to him about Jennifer.
"Yes, she knows and thats what is making her disconnect my calls from last 4 days" he said in a disappointing tone.
"Oh!" Annika replied. "Is there anything I can do?" She asked
"No Annika. Dont worry, Ill manage" he said assuring her.
"Hmm" she said while going away when he stopped her.
"Annika I need to talk to you" he said.
"Annika..actually"
"Shivay dont worry, we will figure out something to cancel this trip" she said thinking him to be worried because of the honeymoon.
"I m not worried about that Annika, we will go" he said
"But Shi.."
"Its fine Annika, its just a vacation. I anyways have some clients from Switzerland so Ill manage some work from there in the meantime we will figure out something to solve everything. I hope you have no problem coz I know dad & he is very stubborn." He said.
"And what about Jennifer" he heard her say.
How can she be so selfless? Her life is being ruined here & still she is worried about him & Jennifer. He thought.
"Ill manage Annika dont worry she will be fine" He said.
"So what else you wanted to talk about?" She asked.
"Annika! I m..I m sorry" she heard him say.
"I dont know what all I said to you that night but believe me I never wanted you to know everything like that. I m really sorry if I said something which hurted you. I know all these things make no sense but this is all what I can say for now. I know its very hard for you, I know I m being selfish but I cant help it. I m thankful to you for understanding me & my conditions. May be I m not the one for you & you deserve someone much more better than me because you are different Annika. Trust me you deserve better. I m sorry for not understanding you. I m sorry for not trusting my friend. I cant promise you a forever but I promise I wont leave you in this situation untill I make everything fine for both of us. I wont let you suffer alone. I know nothing can damage the loss now. but I hope we are still friends. Are we?" He asked.

She felt some tears dripping out from her eyes. This was so damn tough. On one side he wants to go back to Jennifer & on the other side he is saying all these things to her. How can he make the situation fine for both of them? One heart break is bound to happen & she cant let it that be his. But she was happy, atleast he understood that she is not a selfish girl, atleast he doesnt hates her for all that has happened.
"Yes" she nodded
"Plz dont cry Annika" he said while wiping away the tears from her face. Both of them shared a beautiful eye lock. He was busy admiring her eyes, although she was crying but her eyes looked so beautiful. The redness, the wetness, the puffiness made them look more pretty. Her face & nose turned red & she looked super cute.
She was lost in his eyes. Those blue oceanic eyes which made her fall for him. She cant let it happen again. She has to live with him for three months but she will try her best not to fall for him again. She cant be weak. She cant make it more tough for herself. She thought & suddenly shifted back. They both came back into senses. She avoided his gaze & went towards the washroom.
He could clearly see that pain in her eyes but he could do nothing to soothen it.

•SHIVAY•
"Why did you do this to us god? Why only me!? Was it so hard for you to make Annika fall for someone else? Why did she loved only me? I cant see her in pain. I cant let her suffer but the worst part is I cant even do anything. Because I myself m the reason. Why do you feel happy by giving tears to others? Why do you feel happy by giving pain to people like Annika? Please make her hate me god. I know it will be tough for her untill she hates me. Please make it easy for her. Please give her the strength to face this" Shivay thought while blaming god.

•ANNIKA•
Washroom was like her secret place where could cry her heart out without any hesitation.
"Why only me god? Why didnt you write any  faith of my first love? Why didnt you made Shivay fall in love with me? Why is it so hard to lose your love? Why is so hard to hide the pain of a broken heart? Why!!! Why did I met him..Why did I fell in love with him. I cant face all this. I feel like m breaking into millions of  pieces whenever I see him. Plz give me strength. Plzz!" she cried blaming god.

Both of them were busy blaming god for the pain they were facing. This is what we all do when things dont work like how we want them to. It is so easy to blame god for all the bad things that happen with us. But do we trust god enough? Do we show that faith in him? God is the creator & he knows what all he writes for his children. Shivay & Annika didnt knew what all is in store for them. There was so much more written for them which would make them question god but who knows that the end result of everything god does is positive & best for his children. And thats what is gonna happen with Shivika too.

Thanku so much for the very precious 70+ votes on the last part. I seriously m so happy that you guys are loving this story and thus I have decided I wont end this FF soon & will make it a bit long story so now it will be having around 20 chapters or so.
