•OBEROI MANSION•
The next morning was going to be beautiful for Annika obviously because of Shivay. How? Let's know!!!!

Annika woke up to find the other side of the bed all empty.
"Shivayy?" she said trying to figure him out on the bed, while she sat up rubbing her eyes.
"Where has he gone now? It's just 7:00 am" she said looking at the watch with a frown.

"Shivayyy!!!" she called him but no reply.

She knocked the washroom door but it was open. She peeped but he was not in there too.

"He must be downstairs" she muttered to herself and went to get a shower.

After coming back from the washroom, she sat on the dressing table combing her wet hair.

"Still not back in the room?" She thought.

"Look at your dad little baby, one day he was there to make us feel all loved and pampered and the other day he has not even showed us his face" she complained to her little baby keeping her hands on her belly.

Of course she was feeling restless now. It always felt weird when she started the day without seeing the face of her loving husband.

She was about to fill her vermillion when a hand stopped her from doing so. She saw his sexy form standing behind her from the mirror, pulling back her hand from applying vermillion.

"You are not supposed to do this love, this is my job" Shivay said taking a pinch of vermillion from the small pot and filling her partition.

"Where were you Shivay? I was just going to call you?" Annika asked him, looking all restless.

"Will tell that later, first you tell me what were you complaining about me to our baby?" Shivay said frowning at her.

He was listening to her cute complaints leaning on the door of their room when she was talking to the baby.

"I was just telling him that his daddy forgot us" she said pouting at him.

"I can forget my own existence for once but not of you and our baby Annika" Shivay said coming close to her and pecking her lips softly.

"So tell me where were you?" she asked him, although she felt so happy by what he said.

"Come let me show you" Shivay said taking her out of the room.

They went downstairs. Shivay took her to the room just behind the staircase. He asked her to close her eyes. She did what she was asked to do. As soon as Shivay reached the room he asked her to open the eyes.

The next scene which Annika saw bloomed her heart with immense happiness and pleasure.
That was a bedroom beautifully decorated with the pictures of Annika Shivay and adorable babies. All the four walls of the room had some beautiful pictures of some cutest babies hanging. On the corner of the room there was a book shelf with all kinds of pregnancy books. She went inside, the front wall against the bed had a beautiful large picture of Annika and Shivay hugging each other. That was the picture which was clicked on her birthday when Shivay announced in front of the whole world that he loved her.

"Shi..va..y" she spoke looking at him with amusement and confusion.

"It's now going to be really hard for you to climb the stairs Annika so for the time being this is gonna be our bedroom. I don't want you to face any kind of difficulty while climbing the stairs moreover it's really risky with the baby bump so that's why" Shivay said telling her about the room.

She looked at him with immense love in his eyes.

He spoke further, I know you must be thinking about the pictures so let me tell you, I read in a book that the room of a pregnant women should be decorated with adorable baby pictures so that she sees them whenever she opens her eyes. These cute pictures will help you feel better Annika and our baby will also feel happy looking at them. I m sure our baby is gonna be the cutest if you will see these pictures. And look at this beautiful picture of us just in front of our bed, you know I hanged it here because I want you to look at this picture all the time and remember the moment of happiness that you felt that day. I just want your, your heart and your mind to smile all the time Annika" he said looking at their picture, while his back was facing her.

Annika was not in a state of saying anything. She just hugged him from behind and started sobbing hard. For a second Shivay got really worried.

"Ann..iikaa!" he said trying to look at her face. He turned towards her and made her sit on the bed.

She was just crying, not even looking at him.

"What happened love? Are you not happy? Did I hurt you?" Shivay asked her but she was just crying.

"Annika please tell me why are you crying? I m feeling really scared" he said scooping her face between his hands.

She looked at him and hugged him.

"I m sorry Shivay! I was complaining to the baby that you forgot us but you were busy in preparing this room to make us happy. I m feeling really guilty. You always think about me and my happiness, about our baby, about our comfort and I was angry with you. Plea..se... for..gi...ve..mee!!" she managed to speak between her harsh sobs.

Shivay felt his heart being pinched at the way she was crying.
"Shhhh Annikaa! What are you saying baby? Why are you thinking like that. I love you okay. Don't you dare ask me to forgive you or feel guilty for such stupid reasons. I know you can never be angry on me, infact I felt happy that you were angry because that showed me how restless you grow when you don't fine me beside you. That's what shows me the amount of love you have for me and whatever I m doing is for my baby and you. That's my right and duty Annika. Stop crying baby" Shivay tried to console her while showering her face with soft kisses.

She smiled and giggled at the way he was rubbing his pricky stubble against her cheeks to make her laugh.

"Thanku so much for doing all this Shivay. I m really lucky to have you in my life. Thanku so much for making my life better" she said hugging him tightly.

"It's you who have made my life better Annika. I love you" he said kissing her hairs while a smile crept their lips.

"Shivay, I loved the pictures of the room but these are not the pictures that I want to see when I wake up. It's you whom I want to see the very first moment when I open my eyes in the morning coz I don't want my baby to look like any of these but like his dad. I want our baby to have these beautiful pair of blue eyes, the same magical face, the same personality" she said against his ears.

"And I want the baby to have this beautiful face which the mommy owns. The same dove shaped beautiful eyes, the same soft pink lips, the same cute little red nose, the same milky skin and moreover the same big heart inside out." he said kissing every part of her face and making her blush.

"Okay that's pretty fair enough. We have a picture of both of us just in front of our bed. I m fine with that" she said smiling at him, making him smile back.

"Yes now come on get ready, we have to go to the doctor for the checkup" Shivay said to Annika

•HOSPITAL•
They reached the hospital half an hour early. Mr. Punctual Singh Oberoi always made it a point to be on time or a bit early but never late.
After sometime they went inside the cabin of the gynae.

"Hello Mr and Mrs Oberoi! Good to see you both. How are you Annika?" the doctor greeted them and asked her about her health.

"I m fine doctor. After all I have one more doctor at home to take care of me fortunately" she said looking at Shivay with a beautiful smile.

"No doubt Annika, you are one lucky women to have him" the doctor in her late fifties replied complimenting them.

"Undoubtedly I m" Annika said while all Shivay did was blushing.

"Okay so Mr and Mrs Oberoi, today you guys are going to see your baby for the first time" she told them making them open their mouth wide in shock and surprise.

"What?? We can see our baby?" Both of them asked in unison making the doctor chuckle.

"Yes, you guys will be able to see them on the computer screen. I will be conducting an ultrasound through which you will be able to see some images of the baby in the womb" she told the couple.

Saying Annika and Shivay were excited was an understatement. They were literally jumping with joy. The smiles on their faces only widened while they also felt nervous to see the baby for the first time.

The doctor made Annika lie down and applied some thick gel on her belly. Shivay was just standing near her entwining his fingers with his. The doctor started roaming a small transducer (remote kinda thing) on her belly and asked the couple to look at the computer screen.

The moment she started roaming the remote, Shivika was able to trace some faint images of a baby like figure on the computer screen. The faint image gradually started becoming darker and soon they were able to see a full formed image of a small baby on the screen.

Shivay tightened the hold of his hand on her fingers. He was just so numb and so was Annika. The tears of happiness made way from their eyes while a cute smile crept on their lips. Both of them felt their lips shivering out of immense happiness.

Their small little baby was there in front of them.
"Our baby" both of said to each other looking into their eyes. They just felt like watching the screen for eternity. The small token of their love, the small existence of their love, the beautiful gift of god was their in front of their eyes. Shivay and Annika felt the world dancing with joy. They were on cloud nine. They smiled crazily with uncountable tears rolling out from their eyes.

The doctor felt really happy looking at them.
"It's a cute little naughty baby" the doctor said tracing the faint movements which was not felt by Annika as it was her third month.

The couple laughed at the statement of the doctor. After the ultrasound was done, Shivay helped Annika stand up carefully. The tears were still there.

"We will get a picture of our baby right doctor?" Annika asked the doctor in excitement.

"Of course Mrs Oberoi" she replied making the couple jump with joy.

•OBEROI MANSION•
Shivay and Annika returned the mansion with a priceless smiles and content on their faces. This was the most beautiful day of their life. They saw their baby, what can be more amazing than this.

They opened the report of the ultrasound and started caressing their fingers on the picture of the baby.

"Ann..nik..aa thanku so much for making me feel this special. I m literally feeling out of the world today and this is all because of you" Shivay said keeping his hand on her fingers which were caressing the sonography reports.

"As much as I m responsible for giving you the happiness, you are responsible too Shivay. I really can't thank you enough for this beautiful gift" she said hugging him sideways.

Both Shivay and Annika decided to get this first picture of their baby framed. It was the first memory of their baby. It was the first solid proof of the existence of the beautiful soul they made with love.
This was such a beautiful day for them. They kept staring at the report hugging each other.

THREE MONTH LEAP

It was now the sixth month of her pregnancy. Everything had been really great since then. The love and trust between Shivika only increased. The care, the concern, the longing for each other literally multiplied in numbers.

Shivay was the same tadibaz bagad billa but still panicked like a baby when it came to Annika and his little one.

Annika was still as khidkitod as she used to be. Though the mood swings were now a bit more dangerous which led to some small loving fights between the couple now and then.

It was midnight when a loud scream of Annika woke him up from the peaceful slumber.

Shivay literally freaked out looking at Annika's face which was full of surprise and amusement. Her hand was on her belly and she screamed his name to wake him up.

"Anni..Annikkaa What happened??" he spoke to know what has happened to her.
