•HOSPITAL•
Shivay was too shocked to believe what just happened. She was not even listening to him. He knew this was his punishment for continously hurting her, he knew it wont be easy to ask for her forgiveness but he didnt wanted it to effect her health. He cant lose her and his baby.

He was crying when Karan put his hand on his shoulder.
He turned to see him & hugged him
"She is not even listening to me Karan, she hates me. She wont forgive me ever but I cant live without her, I will die" he choked.

"Shhhh...calm down Shivay, nothing of that sort is gonna happen. Just be patient & give her sometime Shivay. She loves you, immensely & truely, she wont leave you trust me" Karan tried to console him.

The doctor came out & informed that Annika is fine but she needs to be kept away from any kind of stress because that would be harmful for both her & the baby.

Shivay & Karan were relieved that she was fine.
Shivay was lost in his thoughts when he received a call from Martha. What all she said to him bewildered him. Tears started flowing from his already swollen eyes.

"Is everything okay Shivay? Why are you crying" Karan asked worriedly.

"Dad is out of coma Karan!" He burst out with happy tears.

Life was being so nice to him suddenly. Everything around him that was somehow gloomy turned up positive.
• He found the love of his life
• Jennifer was out of his life
• He was going to be father and finally
• His dad was out of coma!!

Was he dreaming? Was all that actually happening? But no, that was not a dream coz In dreams everything seems perfect but In his life there was still something imperfect & that was the relationship between him & Annika. The most important person in his life, his wife, his Annika was angry & hurt because of him. He needs to rectify all his mistakes.

Karan congratulated him & asked him to go to meet his father. He assured Shivay that he would be there to take care of his Annika. Shivay was reliefed. He knew Karan wont let anything happen to her.

•OBEROI MANSION•
He came home & went to his father's room. Martha also called Mr. Wadhwa (Annika's father) so he was already present with his father.
He saw him sitting on the bed, without any medical instruments surrounding him. He looked pale yet there was a kind of happiness that lit up his face.

"Daaaaddd" he hugged him tightly & cried bitterly. It was as if all his disappointments, his pain, his frustration found a way when he hugged his father. Parents are the most important part of anyone's life & Shivay always missed the presence of his mother, thus he grew immensely close to his father. Today when he saw him all fine, he could not control his tears. Moreover the pain of somehow losing Annika also found a way. He wanted someone to tell him that she will forgive him. He felt that warmth & positivity when he hugged his father after so long.

"Stop crying my bcha! See I m fine" Mr. Oberoi caressed his hair lovingly.

"Dad I wa..was so scared. I thought I have lost youuu!" he stammered.

"I dont know what brought me back Shivay. I was gone..I was just a lifeless body but suddenly I felt some positive energy. As if something, someone is calling me back to life. As if someone is asking me to come back. I dont know what happened but see I came back" Mr. Oberoi said.

"Someone is calling you dad, you are right. A new unborn life is calling you. You are soon going to be grand father. I cant tell this to you now, not untill Annika wants it but I promise I will soon tell you this good news."
Shivay thought wiping his tears while a happy smile adored his lips.

"But where is my Annika? Is she not in the house?" Mr. Oberoi asked.

"Yes, Even I cant see her, where is she Shivay?" Mr. Wadhwa asked.

"What should he tell them now? How can he tell them that he asked her to get out from his life? How can he tell them that he hurted her to the core that she tried to commit suicide & now she was in hospital. Will he be able to face them? What if something again happened to his father out of shock. No he cant tell them. Not now"

"Shivay!!! Tell me where is Annika?" his dad asked again.

"Dad actually Ann..Annika" he was about to lie when he heard the most sweetest voice of the whole damn world. A voice which suddenly became the reason of his life.

"I am here dad!" She came & hugged him tightly.

"Annika!!! What happened to your head bacha?" Mr. Oberoi asked looking at the bandage on her forehead. While on the other hand Mr. Wadhwa also panicked looking at the bandages on her hands & forehand.

"Nothing dad. Actually I was cleaning up our room & the stool suddenly slipped , falling on the floor I hurt my head & bruised my hand. But its all good now. I m fine, trust me" she said giving them a wide smile.

Both her fathers were relieved after listening to her.

"I expected you to take care of my daughter Shivay, How has this happened?" Mr. Oberoi said glaring at Shivay. Obviously to him Annika was not a daughter in law but his own daughter.

"Its not his fault dad, he was in the office when this happened" she said trying to make the environment cool.

Shivay was just feeling himself thrusting inside the earth. "How was he supposed to payback to this lady who was still there to help him, even after what all he has done to her? Is she even normal? How can she be so selfless. She was right, I dont deserve her! But I will win her back, I will win her trust back, I will win her heart back. I will make myself worth deserving her" he thought looking at her while the tears shined in his eyes.

"Okay, take her to the room Shivay, she needs to take rest. Leave me to my friend now. We have so much to talk" Mr. Oberoi
remarked laughing.

Shivay held her shoulder & took her to the room. The moment she entered the room, she jerked away his hands from her shoulder.

"Dont touch me" she said taking a step back.

He was expecting this. He knew she was there only for his father. She had been thinking of others before her. This was not something new.

"Annika what was the need to come here like this, you are not well. What if something would have happened to you. Just take rest!" he said coming towards her.

"I know what I need to do, you dont have to worry about me. And just because I m back here, dont think that I have forgiven you! I will never forgive you. I m here only" She was cut in between.

"Because of dad!? I know that Annika. Infact I didn't even thought that you are here for me. I know I have not been nice to you. I know I deserve all your hatred & anger, I know I have created all the mess but I wont let this chance go out so easily from my hands. I will win you back I promise" He said looking straight into her eyes.

She was baffled. She was expecting him to fight with her but he was talking about winning her back? A part of her heart smiled, but she cant show it to him. "You cant! I am not going to forgive you. Dont even try Mr. Oberoi" she said with tears in her eyes.

"Annika..listen" he said while she ran into the bathroom. He felt bad for making her cry but he cant just leave her alone. He have to keep trying to woo her back. He cant live without her not even a second.

•SHIVAY-KARAN•
He went out of the room & saw Karan sitting in the living room.
"Karan!!" he looked at him confusingly.

"I know what you want to ask me Shivay but I could not help it. The moment I told her that your dad is out of coma she got restless. Tears of joy started making way from her eyes and she forced me to bring her here. All she was saying was that dad must be asking for her & she needed to be there. She said she cant let them know what is going on between you & her. Shivay, You are really lucky to have her back in your life. Just dont let her go this time. She might not give in so easily this time but I think she deserves this much of liberty. She had always been the sufferer, now its time for her to be loved & pampered. Make her yours, tell her you love her the most, win her heart back, make her feel special, make it up for everytime you have given her pain. She might built a wall against her heart, but I know you will surely break it with your love"

Karan's word gave so much positivity to Shivay. He was right. Its going to be tough but he will have to put all his strength into this. She is so delicate, he have to break that wall softly and gradually.

"I will Karan, I surely will" he said hugging him. Karan hugged him back.

"Well I have a flight after 2 hours, its time for me to make a move. Can I meet her once before going" Karan asked Shivay.

"What? Why Karan? Stay here for some more days? Please" Shivay requested. He knew he will need his support.

"I wished that too but Dad needs me there Shivay. Dont worry. I m always with you & Annika. Just give me a call & Ill be here" he said smiling.

"Okay. And why are you asking me to meet her. She is your friend you dont have to ask me. Just go & talk to her" Shivay replied.

•ANNIKA-KARAN•
"Annika" Karan said entering the room. She was sitting quietly resting her head on the bed rest, staring at the ceiling of the room.

"Karan!! comein, sit here" she called him in while her face lit up.

"How are you feeling?" he asked her.

"Better! I dont have to smell the pukish odour of the toxic medicines all the time" she replied making Karan chuckle.

"Annika I want to tell you something." Karan said.

"Tell me Karan." she looked at him curiously.

"Annika I m going back from the evening's flight" he said making her face flush with sadness.
Her eyes got filled with tears. Karan was like a very special friend for her. He was with her  even when Shivay left her alone. He was there with her when she lost the hope to live anymore. She will surely miss this friend a lot.

"Hey stop crying Annika! I m just some hours away from you. I will be here whenever you will need me" he said wiping her tears.

"I will miss you Karan, I have troubled you a lot right? I m sorry & thanku so much for everything" she said.

"Stop saying sorry to me Annika. You haven't troubled me. I will miss you too Annika. I want to ask something from you, may be as a farewell gift. Will you give it to me?" he asked confusing her.

"Sure Karan!" she replied.

"Annika you know what life always tests those who are already weak & vulnerable enough to fail. I know what all you have suffered, it was not easy. Everything that you have gone through one cant even imagine. I know it is easy for me to say but I think everyone deserves a second chance Annika. What all Shivay did was wrong but he was partially at fault. He had no women in his life, he lost his mother. I had always seen him fighting a loneliness Annika. When Jennifer came in his life, he thought now that loneliness will leave him. He trusted her more than himself. The way she portrayed everything against us, I think anyone on his place would have misunderstood us. And moreover I think he never loved Jennifer. I could see the true love in his eyes and that is only for you Annika. I have seen him crying bitterly for you when you were in hospital. I saw that love in his eyes which I never witnessed in his eyes for Jennifer or for anyone else. The way he was looking at you, his eyes expressed thousands of unsaid feeling Annika. I know he havent said it but he will soon express his feelings to you. I have seen it in his eyes. He is truely sorry for his faults Annika. I m not asking you to forgive him, I know you cant do it so easily, I know you need time. I m just asking you to give him a chance. Just to let him express his feelings to you. Give him a chance to proof himself. He has no one with him. He needs you. I m not forcing you, please dont think like that. Its just an advice as a friend because you might lie to yourself but I know you love him immensely. I know you cant live without him. I know you need him equally by your side & moreover your baby needs Shivay. He has a right on the unborn life Annika. Please think sensibly and decide. Its not only about you anymore, its about your baby as well" Karan finished only to see some tears in her eyes.

She knew what all Karan said to her was true. She cant live without him, not even for a second. She knew he wanted her, she herself could see that love in his eyes which she craved for. She was still feeling bad for him, her heart still pained on the thought of him getting cheated by Jennifer, whom he trusted. She knew he was feeling alone & broken & there was no one on his side to console him. And thats why she have come back to her house. She might behave all rudely with him, she might act like his presence made no difference to her, she might make him feel that she hated him but atleast she would be there with him, he would be there infront of her eyes. She would be able to see him all the time, to assure that he was okay. She still loved him, more now coz she knew he was alone. But she cant let him have her so easily. Not this time coz things that one gets easily are not respected, they are taken for granted. She doesn't wants to be treated as granted now. She might sound selfish but she needed to do this, to make him understand the worth of her & her love. It was important for her, for her baby & for them. She was scared of letting left alone, she wanted to make sure that this time he will not come in her life to leave her alone again. She cant suffer that, she will die. She needed him in her life but forever. And for that she needed to make sure that he realised his love for her. He realised her importance in his life. She have to do this. She might deny it on his face but she wants him to win her heart back, she desperately wants him to win her trust back, she impatiently wants him to win her soul back. She wants him to make her his forever. She is dying for him to do all this. She wanted him to win, she wanted herself to lose in his love"

"I will give him a second chance Karan" she said making him smile widely.

"Thank you so much for keeping my words Annika" he said.

Shivay was listening to them from a distance. Karan was the main angel in his life. He made it so easy for him. He helped him a lot. Shivay can never pay him back. He felt guilty for thinking so low of Karan. The respect he had for him sore up to new heights. His heart blossomed against his chest knowing the fact that she will give him another chance.
"Thats what all I wanted Annika. Now I will set everything right. I will make up for my mistakes. I will make you feel the most special girl in this world. I will win you back my love. Get ready to fall in love again Annika" he said with a peaceful smile on his face.
