Shivay reached the office & asked his PA to cancel all the meetings for today. All he wanted to do today was just think, deeply, keeping everything in his mind, calculating everything that he has been feeling & finally come to a conclusion.

He sat on the couch & starting drawing a parallel between his life before marraige & his life after marriage.
Between life with Jennifer & life with Annika
Between his own heart & mind.

He recollects the moment he spent with Jennifer. Three long years they have spent together. They laughed, they enjoyed, they spent time, they respected each other. He liked her company. She was mostly there for him. But now one question was arriving in his mind, did he actually loved her? Did he even knew what love is? He knew she was the one who proposed him. She convinced him that they are more than just friends. But he never felt with her what all is written in the books about love. People say the person you love stays in your heart forever but if he loved Jennifer then why was Annika ruling his heart? People say the person you love means the world to you. They make you do things which you never thought you would do. They make you meet the real you. Their smile affect you, their pain affect you. You feel like just dancing when they are happy. You feel butterflies in your stomach when they touch you. You feel the happiest person in the world when they are with you. You cant live even a moment without them. When they are not around you it makes you restless. When they are around you, it feels the world has changed into heaven. When you close your eyes you see them, when you open your eyes you want to see them. Their heartbeat feel like the most soothing sound to your ears. But! Did he really felt like this for Jennifer ever??
"Nope" his heart replied.

And suddenly he closed his eyes, just to get more amazed by watching the face which comes in front of his closes eyes.
"Annika" his lips wispered & he opened his eyes.
A beautiful smile adored his lips.
From the first day of their marraige, she had been their on his head & heart. She is the one who is always ruling his heart. He closes his eyes & see her. He opens his eyes and search for her.
In those three long years of his relationship with Jennifer, he never felt like this what he experienced with Annika in three weeks of their honeymoon. He was so engrossed in her that he didnt even thought about Jennifer for once. That surprised him.
"I always believed & said that I love Jennifer but she never crossed my mind even once when I was with Annika." he was baffled.
The way he danced with her, he never danced with Jennifer.
The way he adored her beauty, he never did with Jennifer.
The way she affected him, Jennifer never did. Infact no girl in his life ever made him feel this way.
He feels super protective about her.
He hates it when some dares to touch her.
He cant even think of letting her go from his life.
He cant see tears in her eyes.
He cant let her feel weak.
What all he has ever knew of love, he saw it getting real in his life only after he met Annika.
Moreover, this girl was different. Very different from all of them he knew. Her innocence, her beauty, her care, her selfless nature, her patience level amazes him at the same time impresses him.
He remembers how Jennifer always fought with him whenever he received a call from his father, when he was with her.
She always kinda dominated him on the fact that the time which is for her should not be shared with anyone, not even his father. That somehow irritated him but he knew he would manage that part of her nature after marraige.
But considering Annika all he remembers is her concern for his father. She regarded him as her own dad. She didnt even made a scene on the wedding night when he came drunk & hurted her with his sharp words. She kept quiet always. All she cared for ever was what he wanted, what he liked, what he thought, what he felt, what he decided. How can she do it with someone like him?
Yes he was a moron, always. He never valued her love. All he ever did was hurting her & expecting her to understand his situation. How did he forgot that if he claimed to love someone then even she loved him. How did he forgot that it was his father's wish, it was his problem why should she suffer!? But the moment she got to know about the forced marraige she just gave in. She has always sacrificed for him.
And how can he forget? If she wanted she could have easily got him behind the bars for forcibly raping her but she didnt. Shivay remembers how he hugged her & asked her to support him. He said that he needed her & like always she chose him over her wishes, her dignity, her self respect. She already had nothing left after she got to know about Jennifer but still she sacrificed her only asset which was her dignity. Why??? Because she loved him. Shivay was now crying. He just felt like going to her & ask for her forgiveness. How can he do this with her? How can he be so heartless & selfish.
Can he even measure the depth of her love for him? He remembers her bond that she made with him, it scared him now. It was almost more than 2 months. He cant let her go. He cant live without her.

He closed his eyes again. Tears rolled down his cheeks. He knew he was at fault. He knew he had been selfish. He knew even if he loved Jennifer, he should have compromised in his life. He has no right to ruin the life of someone whom he married. How can he even ask her to break the marriage & leave him? He knew what is there in his heart. He knew that he never loved Jennifer, it was Annika whom he loved. He knew what love is only after she came in his life. He remembers how some of his friends always tried to convince him that he & Jennifer doesnt look like a happy couple in love. It seems as if she is forcing herself on him but he ignored those thoughts may be because he thought she was like a partner who didnt let him feel alone. He feared loneliness & she was like an escape from that loneliness. He remembers how she always used to change the topic when he asked her to marry him. She was committment phobic but he wanted a partner who could be with her always, who could understand him, who could make him feel special, who could help him fight his wars which he fought alone but since Annika came in his life, the darkness which scared him, the loneliness that terrified him ran away. He felt strong, feeling her presence near her always when he needed.
He knew what all he shared with Annika was more honest & real coz may be what he shared with Jennifer was just a need of the hour. It was Annika for whom his heart waited, it was she for whom his heart beated, it was she for whom he saved his virginity. Yes, Shivay was a virgin. He never made out with Jennifer, although she tried to convince him alot but he never felt like doing it before marriage. She even mocked him for that. His heart felt proud that he saved it for his beautiful wife. He felt proud that he made her his. He felt proud that he & his belonged to her. He knew what all he did that night with her was truely honest, it was his real feelings that he poured out on her. He was now sure that it was not Jennifer whom he loved coz she never crossed his mind even once that night. It was only he & his Annika. He closed his eyes & a tear escaped his eyes.
"I know I was right, my heart always said it was you but my mind said it's Jennifer. But now I know what I want in my life. I love you Annika. I love you. Thankgod I realised my feelings on time otherwise I would have lost you forever. Now I will set everything right Annika, I promise all the pain all the sufferings that I have given you till now I will compensate them with double amount of love, care & respect for you. Till now you have craved for my love Annika but now I will love you so much that you wont even imagine. I will make it up for all my mistakes. I will make you feel the most special women on this planet coz you are the most important person in my life. You are mine, you are my world Annika. I cant even imagine my life without you. Not for a second more." Shivay said & wiped off his tears.

He quickly went out of the cabin & sat in his car. He was so happy today. He felt like he was on cloud nine. This feeling was so new & special. It never happened before. He turned on the radio & coincidently a song was already playing on the radio which explained his condition in true words.

Shivay could relate to the lyrics. He felt his heart dancing to the tune. It literally felt as if he is a teenager who fell in love for the first time, but hey he might not be a teenager but he did fell in love for the first time, he thought.

Shivay stopped his car beside a flower parlour & picked a beautiful bouquet of white & red roses. White ones for the positivity Annika brought in his life & red ones for the love she has always showered him with.
"I  am coming Annika, Your Shivay is coming" he said & the next moment the accelerator of his car became in audible.

Precap : "I love you! I love you! I love you"he said nuzzling his nose beside bher neck.

First of all thanks a lot for the love & appreciation. I m so overwhelmed, I never thought I would be writing the 20th part of this story but all this is possible because of you guys. Yayyy its part 20 & I m happy that this part made Shivay realise his real feelings.
